Dee, so glad that you are safe and sound.
Dh called and they are in Galveston. He sounded absolutely whipped. He said traffic thru Houston was horrible.
Today I carted dd2 around because her car was being detailed. In between I fixed the cavatini. Dgd16 daughter of dd1 was home sick. She went for a strep screen and it was positive. I picked up her RX and took it to her. She looked terrible. Dd2 and I went to the girls' parade and party. Later I picked dd2 up and we went to get her car. I went to their house and helped get the girls ready to trick or treat. Her and her dh took them to town to dd1 and 2 of his brothers homes. I gave out candy while they were gone and I had supper in the oven. At 9 her and I headed to her shop. I washed a bunch of stuff while she loaded the kiln. I had left my porch lights off because 3 of them are on the front of the garage and are on continuously when it is dark. The 2 under the covered court yard entry area are motion lights. I was a little goosey coming home to a dark house but I had brought a flashlight so I could quickly unlock the door. Dd2 called to make sure I was home and safe.
Today was a beautiful day, low 80's. Dd2 had a cute witch costume on. I told her I was dressed as a grandma still wearing capris at Halloween.
Ivy, cavatini is a pasta dish. It has ground beef, pepperoni, 3 kinds of pasta, roasted garlic R agu and mozzarella cheese. You can also put onions, peppers and mushrooms in it but it is more kid friendly without them.
Speaking of whipped, I am too. It's been a long day. I am hoping to stay home tomorrow except for picking up my monthly RXs.
The radio worked great last night. I was able to go to sleep quickly and stay asleep.
