Good Morning Villagers!
Today is Triumphant Thursday for me because I have only 1 day left of my 3 12's in a row left. I hate working three in a row. I am off tomorrow but have reserves this weekend... or at least Sunday morning. I picked up a few hours Saturday afternoon just to help the paycheck.
What are you triumphant over today?
Have great day!

Re: Triumphant Thursday
Not feelin' very triumphant right now - the ugly temple email I rec'd last night put me on edge and this is from someone who used to be a good friend. I have been increasingly distant - it makes me ill that he can post very uplifting positive things on Facebook and everyone thinks he is wonderful, but in his private emails he can be very ugly to the rabbi and now me.
Maybe I'll feel triumphant when I get to the office, I think I finally have info to complete another two of the tax returns I have. Or this info may just lead to more questions, but at least it's a start....
Have to meet with rabbi at 8:30 so need to be movin, walk the dogs, get ready for work.
(And then this sat here for at least 45 minutes, dogs walked now, and I'm heading to the shower.)

Good Morning!
I am not feeling triumphant yet, but I have hope I will later today. My goal for today is to reach triple digit (100+) completed cards. In order to do this, I will have to stay focused and on my toes 10-12 hours. I love this type of challenge and I especially love the end results (cleaner and organized home).

CUOP from last night:
Elizabeth sorry about the loss of pictures. Our backup routine is all photos are backed up daily to computer so then the photos are in two places. Every day or two we then back up to an external hard drive. Only then can the photos be taken off the camera chip. That means, of course, we have to have a computer and hard drive with us on our travels. Now you all know why travel with so few clothes, I have a ton of technology with me!
At home, I backup fairly regularly (usually I'm taking a photo at home to share with people so it goes to my computer quickly) but we don't backup the cell phone cameras as quickly. In fact, I haven't backed up mine in the 2 months I've been using it. Must make a card to remind me to do that weekly.
Dh has decided not to go to the meeting today. I'm annoyed he'll be here but he didn't want to go and I pointed out he's semi-retired so didn't have to go. Our definition of semi retired in he doesn't have to do all the tasks he used to hate, like socializing with Canadians - we don't work in Canada so there's no point networking with these people, it won't lead to contracts.
I'm on the treadmill but my legs hurt so I'm taking it easier. Don't know why they hurt, it isn't back, it is muscles along the backs of my legs, probably from stretches since I'm working on touching my toes. But that has my heart rate below the useful stage so I'm wondering why I'm bothering.
Last night I changed the settings on the church forums to allow people to register since we are running another learning event and we put the info online for those who want to participate from home. New accounts need authorization and this morning I was greeted with 4 registration requests from spammers. We have Captcha authorization too so I'm amazed. On the SHE boards we don't have that extra level of authorization and get spammers but fewer than one a week. Gives you an idea of how well we hide this board from general view compared to the church boards (which our linked through our company's website so have a lot of exposure to bots.)

Re: Triumphant Thursday
Yesterday I felt triumphant getting some yard work current in the wonderful temps. we have here this week. Got the laundry current.
Got the Rx refills going after a week of trying to do that was great!
After a dpc [dreaded phone call]. It was such a lovely fall day here made me want to celebrate.
Good morning every to one!
I'm hoping today is a good day as well. I have granny duty today. Some inside stuff needs me to feel triumphant about today. I did not buy extra candy only had one trick or treater left the lights off. So I''m glad I do not have that to get into.
Made squash and corn bread for dinner last night yummy!

Re: Triumphant Thursday
Digital Cards = I learned to use SHE cards from P&P 3x5" index cards system. After a few years of using 3x5" cards, I transferred the information from those cards to digital system on the computer. I have used several different types of software (database, word files, etc) to keep the digital cards in, but finally settled on Excel spreadsheet.
