Sunday Schedule

Post by Twins' Mom »

This is the day I try to think ahead to the week's schedule and get a mental image of what's happening along the way. This is such a busy time of the year!

What's on your plate this week, and how do you plan to work through the challenges and busy-ness?

I have stuff for today and all week. Today I'm driving to Atlanta for meeting re: dsis, and there's a Hanukkah party/dinner this evening if I'm home in time. I hope dh will bring me a plate if I don't make it in time 'cause there's wonderful latkes!

My kids will be home late this week, I have one evening meeting and 1 week night party. Also another trip to ATL to p/u ds on Friday, on top of local continuing education on Friday. And I have a dr appointment for a checkup (s/b fasting) in the a.m.

I'm working on a.m. routine and getting ready to leave around 11. Must s2s and walk ddogs also.

Good morning!
Just got back from church.

Sunday Schedule --
I also try to look ahead and sorta plan the week, Twins. But sometimes it just gets so hectic that I'm kinda flying by the seat of my pants all week anyway.
On Sundays, I also try to do some minimal housekeeping chores to make the week better -- make sure I s/s baths, leave the kitchen clean, catch up on laundry, change sheets, double-check grocery list, nothing strenuous -- just little things.
I also do my allergy shots on Sundays.
And yes... in the interest of full disclosure... I do take a rather long nap on Sunday.

Hope things go well re: your dsis, Twins. (((HUGS)))

So glad things are looking up, blessed!

Oh... must say... although dh seemed to enjoy the movie last night, I considered it a HUGE waste of time. * sheesh * I actually started counting to see how many different parts of speech a certain vulgar term could be used as. I got noun, verb, adjective, adverb, and interjection... before I fell asleep. DH kept waking me up b/c he said I was snoring!!! We were the only people in the theater for the second show, so I really didn't care & I wish he had let me sleep. It was just pointless... cuss cuss shoot somebody blood everywhere cuss cuss repeat. (In case y'all missed my post last night, this is my review of K illing T hem S oftly. * sheesh * I mean, I am not a prude and I can deal with the cussing, but I just couldn't get interested in this last night.
Tomorrow is another day.

hi all - went to get garland roping but all of it was very dry and already brown so I bought a potted thing with greenery instead.

 Dson sent a fb message and we are on tap for next weekend to help dgd getting transported from the game home as her sis has one the same weekend in another town. It's good to know this ahead of time as we go to the game and now know what one to go to!

Breakfast is done br-r cold like 20* here last night chickens are fine.
I made hot mush for the chickens out of their food. Took out water in McDonalds buckets that work great for this! It's time to let the chickens out but I'm waiting for the frost to melt first.

H. work a lot last week like 50 hrs. missed the call on Sat. to come in not at all bummed about that! LOL! In recoup mode here and having cave time! LOL!

Good Morning Villagers! :D

Twins' Mom, The Sunday Schedule was a good title for today! It's such a busy time of year for everybody!

Have a safe trip to Atlanta when you go! Your Hanukkah party sounds great! On the morning news they showed Hanukkah being celebrated in WA D. C. and the children's choir was singing, the Menorah was lit with the first candle, and all the people looked so very happy and festive! It's such a Holy time of year! :D

Lucylee, Good morning to you, too! It's nice that you take a long nap on Sunday. :D

Do your allergy shots make you sleepy? :?:

Blessed, Sorry about your garland! :o Glad you bought a potted one with greenery. :D

Nancy, Oh! It got so cold there last night! :o :!: Glad the chickens are fine. They'll love their hot mush!

I'm going to be focusing on the baby crochet today. I got my notes ready for an appt. later this week, so that's done and I won't need to be concerned about that. We'll also call Dson tonight to see how Ddil and the baby she's carrying are doing. We'll ship the box off after it's filled up. The items turned out GR8-looking so far! I'm so happy with myself! :D (I'm also bragging!)

DH is watching football now. We were up until 12:45 a.m. watching Jaimie Fox host "SNL" last night! It was a GR8 show! We got up at 7:40 a.m. so we're a bit sleepy today, but oh, so what. It's Sunday. ;)

I need to work on my calendar for the week. DH and I are baby-stepping cleaning house this weekend and this next week, by doing a little bit each day. This gives us more time to do the things we like to do best.

Have a Happy Sunday, Everyone! :D
TTFN! ;)

I wish it was cold as it would be snowing. It's the longest in record that our area hasn't had snow for the Chicago area. as kids we always had a ice rink and now you can't bc the weather is too warm.

one fake tree up in family room - needs new lights
some Christmas up in that room.

hi ivy,Hi scattered, hi twins safe travels and a wonderful dinner tonight - Happy Hanukah!

Nancy - Stay warm

Blessed - I'm sorry you couldn't find garland glad you found a potted plant. I miss snow, we don't usually get it till after January... if we get it at all.

Lucylee - I'm sorry the Movie was a bust.

Ivy - Good Morning, go ahead and brag you have a right too.

I have gotten Sidetracked with the Indiana Sub-forum, DS20 got the tree fluffed (mostly), haven't heard from DP/BFF yet but I need to jump in the shower. Gonna spend another half hour on the sub-forum while I finish watching this movie and then I will get my hiney in gear.
