OKay - I should go get my gun registered, I bought it from my past BFF's DH, it was hers and is to small for him. I should also apply for my concealed gun permit, although I don't carry it out of the house unless I am going to the range and then it is locked in the trunk.
MT - you just continue to amaze me.
Blessed - have fun with DMil, and don't feel bad I am also behind.
I really need to get busy. My goal is to have DS13's jacket cut out within the next hour.

Re: Tuesday Tasks
Harmony, sorry, I had no idea I was that close to the mark when I asked you about inviting so many people to your home.
I'd be tempted to privately tell the main person that other people need to take opportunities for hosting now. But any gathering that will include the whole teen group, now that it has expanded far beyond 30 and has approached 60, needs to be relocated to church facilities, or a professional party venue like Chuck e Cheese, or a park. Mr. Harmony, even though he is tenderhearted and probably loves being open and giving to the teens, is also expert on safety issues, occupancy issues, and all the "what ifs" in case someone gets hurt on your property.
My ddad has another dr's appt today. Washed his hair this a.m. That is a quick chore but not easy. He's never satisfied and keeps putting more and more water on his hair even though I've told him it's finished and dry now. HRH is concerned when he goes around with his head wet, but I don't seem able to change this. I'm almost scared to do it in the deep winter time.
Also while HRH is available, I need to run by pharmacy 1. I'll need to go inside because I'm searching for a product like one that used to be marketed as "Plastic Tac". I want to mount/hang dd's fabric Christmas Trees from 2 years of elementary school and the little children's posterboard manger scene from last year's gifts.
Those of us being creative this season - grab the camera and document it before you give it away. Those kinds of photographs do the heart good later on.
HRH is sad to learn on a news report that the McRib has 70 ingredients. I think he knew it couldn't be good for you, but wow. He won't tell me the rest of the report because it was about the handling of the livestock. Must be bad.
If you don't believe in miracles, you're not being realistic.

Re: Tuesday Tasks
Trying to get in the new routine around here. I've been outside to turn on the light for the chickens and open up the half door. The #2 roo Red gets out at 7:30.
I moved the ex. bike by the kit. window so I could watch 'em while I did my 4 mi. this morning this is working out great. They were not fighting and things have settled down and it's peaceful again now.
Saw lots of robins in the yard yesterday when I got up probably because of the wind. It's calm here today yea!
Sun is out!
Re: School / skippable
We have a watchdog program here where dgson attends school. I asked if he saw any cops at the school said he did not. But I'm thinking that they will be making rounds in their schedules in the near future. The high school is less than two blocks from the police station. The other school that dgson goes to is only 1/2 mi. from the vol. fire station. So help is near by for them. He got a letter from the school about how they were dealing with it.
The h.s. and middle school wore Ct. school colors and dgson said they ties ribbons on the fence in ct. school colors to honor and in memory of those students / teachers.
In my opinion I do agree with the post in J&C what Scattered 's son said. H. has a concealed weapons permit. Guns scare me b/c they are so loud tried to shot a shot gun one time in hs and it knocked me on my butt! I'm not a very good shot so do not own one.
Dgson and neighbor's kid are concerned b/c the neighbor teased and said he would shoot a roo if I got one. I had to reassure them that they could not. And that I'd asked the cop and it's okay to have a roo here; it's in the code where we live roos are okay, also this is private property & they cannot do anything about it; if the neighbor did we could have him arrested and we would just get another roo. That seemed to make him feel at ease. [I feel bad now that I repeated that info. that the neighbor said in jest to the kids causing them to worry.]

Re: Tuesday Tasks
Quick check in. Thanks Kathryn. Another difficult day here, but I'm proceeding as if I'm competent. As if. Yeah.
OKay so glad to read about DBro & his arm. I know how debilitating that can be, watching DH with his. He can swing it up over his head, but he has no strength there and it drops suddenly like a dead weight. All the work he does is at chest level. He is blessed to have worked hard all these years and has muscles in his chest with which he compensates. Your DBro seems to be doing better with his. And I'm happy for DNephew's new baby, hope she continues to do well. She - he - I may have that wrong... My fitness pal sounds great, but I really have no time yet, though it's a goal for 2013. I think Sunny is doing that..
Helia, no didn't have to buy gifts for all. DH didn't want to be part of the exchange, thinking he'd only be getting a kid's item...but I bought 4 things for the odd kids who showed up without. I gave a nice diary to a sweet girl who received as her gift (supposed to be $5.00 minimum but not advertised as a GAG gift) an adult depends. I felt sorry for her. The other 3 gifts I bought and not used will go to others for our Christmas. BWTG for your school's music program.
We are armed and hopefully not dangerous here. I don't think I could shoot anyone and I pray DH will not ever have to.
Harriet, the teen leaders were here Wed. to discuss what we'd be doing, food, etc. and they said 30 had signed up. Many of them just didn't sign up. And they brought friends. Our church doesn't have a place for outdoor activity, other than dirt or asphalt parking lot, and no fire pit...it was nice here but a bit much. I've had conversations with DH about this stuff, but I always lose. What am I going to do, move out if he invites them again? Cooperation.... yeah we need more of that around here.
My monster statement from yesterday was done yet again this morning after DH slept on it and thought a bit. Check voided and another written. sigh..... I'm dealing with his lack of mental sharpness these days. What he forgets I must remember, but when he never tells me or puts names or check #'s on things, it's really really hard. Did another statement this morning and that one was like pulling teeth getting the information, hunting receipts, etc. as I did not even know what he was doing at this other house.
Trying to get things straightened out for the end of the year. Running out of time.
Back to my desk. Have a missing check to research. And I lament the lack of time to keep the housework done..

Re: Tuesday Tasks
I've been relegated to the recliner for most of today. Have been doing cards and sitting a LOT. For some reason I've felt and see my left lower leg/ankle swelling. Finally decided to put on my support stockings and that feels better. Hoping it will go away in the next couple of days. Know I've been sitting and driving a lot lately.
Have to take gd to her Dr. this afternoon. gd is mad, mad, mad that she's even going. Wouldn't talk to dd all last evening. Her quote: "I'm like this because I want to be this way!" Know dsonil is taking a 'wait and see' attitude about his prior demands.
At least things here are a little more level.
Went last night with dd to pick up a few 'special' cards and some gift cards from K o h l s. Need to get a card for dgs13 at Wal mart today. Then I think I'm done????? Well almost. Have 1 item for dd that she's making it very difficult for me to be 'sneaky'. Need her wallet for even just 5 minutes. Can't think of a logical reason though.
Ordered from A mazon yesterday for some of dgks presents. As of 10am today, they've all been shipped and are expected for delivery by tomorrow night. Like how they do the receipts -there's a picture of each item. Good record! I'll file it away with my Christmas notes.
Dh is in the kitchen, busily baking cookies. Bless his heart! We bought a new refrigerator/freezer for our room (small one) so the old one is on the back screened porch. That will hold cookies nicely and maybe they won't get moldy so fast -that's a danger in FL. Maybe next year we'll buy them a freezer.

Post and run....struggling with this client today as they aren't very accounting literate....
I still have not received the tobacco basket Hanukkah gift I bought myself. Need to send a message to seller about it, keep thinking it will turn up today and then it doesn't.
Made a couple of phone calls regarding dsis, need to call back new hospital as they have not called me back.

Ugh! Moving slowly again today. . Ds has called and wants me to pick him up around 3 pm. I'm making him bring home his bedsheets, which I doubt he has laundered all semester.
--Sorry, if TMI.
I have had lunch and have finished my a.m. routine.
Next:
-strip MBR bed
-start a load of bedding and towels.
-wrap gifts for dbro and niece
