Thank you so much for anniversary greetings. (Ivy, we have been married for 29 years.) We had a wonderful dinner last night, celebrating with Cowinkie and Sweetie and a couple who live here in the winter from my hometown Vancouver, WA. We have known each other since Grade 8. The place we were is a building over 100 years old called the Landmark. It was the first Mormon church in Mesa and the downstairs is full of historical pictures of this whole valley. We need to go back for sure! :D

OKay your stuffed peppers sound wonderful. Yum-O! My friend we were with last night had made lunch for her sister and her family yesterday - Turkey Meatballs, Rice and Sweet 'n Sour Sauce. I think I need to go to the store so we can have those dishes soon. (I don't know about Mr. Guy though. Our daughter asked him one time if he liked stuffed peppers and he said "No, but I like stuffed pork chops!"

Have a nice weekend! :)

Got new chore boots love those they are black and have rainbow color dots on them.
 cut off the old ones to be lower and easier to put on.
Have new chicken mag. h. has been reading it them then telling me how to do the chicken thing  LOL!

Found a free baby animal calendar at the feed store. They have chickens ordered all the kinds I wanted except one but those could be special ordered! So peaceful this afternoon with only the one quiet roo.

We need to get a hook for the inside of the door and handle and hinges for the chicken door to keep them and heat in.

Hello, all!

Harmony, I love those kinds of gifts--useful and wanted! I got a new iron several years ago and what a difference it made. The old iron must not have been getting hot enough...thought I was bad at ironing, but it was just a bad iron!

Our family leaves in the morning. We'll miss them, but I guess it's time. I'm tired of cooking and today we were all cooped up inside with snow falling nearly all day. So I know they are ready to get home.

Just wanted to check in..."see" you later.

Unbelievably exhausted.

We snowshoed for about an hour and I was using the old fashioned kind with mukluks, plus the snow was deep, so it was slow going. But the woods were beautiful.

Dd bought dh a parking pass for a year to five of the conservation area parking lots. I only know of two of the other parks so we'll have to to explore and one within a 5 minute drive of our house to get to know really well.

I'm going to be sore tomorrow or the next day, though.

Dinner was a success but it was a challenge to get done. About 55 minutes before I hoped to sit down at the table, I had to go lie down because I had reached a breaking point. Just 25 minutes helped to revive me. Then I set the table and got the gravy made and supervised the rest of the dishing up.

Everything is cleaned up now and the dishwasher running. My service is finalized and I'll put it in my preaching binder and then head to bed. If I hurry, I'll make it before 11 and get 8 hours in bed.

How fun to see so many checking in. I LOVE to hear about your happenings and thoughts!

I reached today's goal of 100 transactions. I worked on one account and brought it up-to-date which resulted in 315 transactions. It only took a little over 2 hours so that gives me a tiny bit of encouragement to take a peek at the other accounts.....someday soon

Okay, you're doing great on that paperwork.

I have the sniffles. Took A irborn and hope it helps.

Dgd16 is still in the hospital. :o She finally got rid of the air bubble. She is now eating regular food. They want her to have a bm before they release her. Dd2 and her ex think that she needs to go home tomorrow, bm or not. Since she was cleaned out it could be a few days. She showered, sat up in bed today and walked, so both of her parents decided that she should stay tonight alone and maybe she will be more anxious to go home.

They are calling for snow here on New Years Eve day. I am hoping we get snow plus dms area, so that she will finally calm down over not coming.

Dd1 and I are planning on going to see Les Miserable tomorrow. Her dd has started working at the movie theatre and can take 1 guest free to a movie with half price concessions. Anyway dd1 seen it with dgd16 but wants to see it again. If the sniffles turn into a cold I won't go. If I don't have a cold, I am going to suggest to dh that we go out tomorrow night for supper. Then more than likely we will have a quiet evening at home on Monday. We have only went out for New Years Eve 1 time in all these years and that was 22 years ago. Our friends ds was playing in a band that was performing at a New Years Eve dance and we went with them.
