Lilac, I'm sorry to hear that your gd-16 is not doing better yet. She's in my thoughts and prayers, as is your entire family and you, too. I do hope they find the problem soon.

Happy Anniversary to MT and dh! I'm so sorry to have missed your Special Day.

Kathryn, I hope dd makes it home without any more mishaps!

Hi Scattered. You've had a busy day!

Dove, Happy New Year to you, too!

Well, my dgd15VA is on her way back home from the band trip to Florida. She said she had a good time here, but I know she'll be glad to get home also!

Waving to all... catching up on good wishes to --
Ken & Twins Dad -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Mr. & Mrs. MT -- HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
Ivy's dd -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I'm so out of the loop here... the last 24 hours have been kinda chaotic w/dh & me. Nothing bad -- we're just both on edge for really no reason at all. Just his normal over-reacting to stress and my normal making panic attack mountains out of molehills. We'll survive.

(((Kathryn & dd)))!!! Oh my... barricading railroads? That sounds scary!!!

(((Lilac & dgd)))!!! Sounds so painful and frustrating... I know y'all are all stressed out with this and she must be sorta depressed that she's not feeling lots better by now. Plus the babysitting duty stress for you & dh. (((BIG HUGS))) all around.

Cathy -- btdt w/the spilled drink. But actually, mine missed the keyboard... just splashed on EVERYTHING else in the vicinity. * sheesh *
And WOW -- 10 loads of laundry! BIG WTG there! Sounds like me w/my three weeks of ironing.

Speaking of which, I just figured out that by spending about an hour and 15 minutes per week, I can save us about $120 a month (cost of cleaners doing the pressing). That's pretty good, I think. I am just going to have to schedule myself some time to watch tv and JUST DO IT. I owe myself some time for Toddlers & Tiaras, or Hoarders, or Nashville, anyway. I should be able to manage this. (BTW -- I got about 2/3 of the way through Paint Your Wagon yesterday, and plan to finish tomorrow. I'm enjoying the movie, but I didn't realize how "scandalous" it might have been in 1969. I had no idea Lee Marvin & Clint Eastwood were sharing a wife!)
It might be cheaper w/another ironing lady, but I don't really want to take clothes to someone's home. Former ironing lady worked out of cleaners, and that was very nice. But I can do this. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

Dove -- I've done a lot of re-organizing and setting up my card file for 2013 tonight, also. I like a combination of list and cards. I really need the daily list and enjoy crossing things off... ;) but the card file is really necessary for me to keep up w/things too.
We're not taking down decorations until Tuesday, either.

(((Dee & family, and all family and friends of the firefighters))) This is so tragic. I guess all firefighters and their families accept the risk of danger in the job, but one expects the dangers to be the natural hazards they would face from fire -- NOT that they would be targeted by a lunatic!
Just like the situation in Sandy Hook... so much of this is just beyond comprehension.

(((Kathryn))) Hope you feel better by the time you read this!
Tomorrow is another day.
