Finished one 1st round
S2boots
Coffee and meds.
Dishes
Chicken chores
Done to here
Get store run in.

H. had a diff. idea as to the time to open up the coop was not in agreement with my  idea  of letting them stay in until seven seems they had an earlier chore time than we did when we were kids. sigh do I heard about it. Trying to renew my attitude to a better frame of reference. So I was out side in the dark with the light on in the run doing chores thinking of doing it when it was warmer might be a better idea. 18* /34* today's temp. range 8-) sun is out now.

Speaking of frames I've accomplished two goals for this year already yea hung up two pictures in the living room done! Complete wa-hoo!

((Nancy)) sorry you didn't feel well for a while. Tell dh for the morning crowing it is not your chore-memory or his, but the chore-times and sleep-times of your current neighbors you're thinking of :D (also your own rest!).

Emptynester, are you getting excited about the remodeling? Glad the migraine is gone - I'd forgotten you have them.

Hmmm... ... I must have "missed" with my aim this a.m. when I thought I put that post in quotes!

School run handled
Morning Daily Card done
Outdoor chores done
15 declutter in the master closet, using the made-up master bed for sorting
15 deep clean in the master closet

(it's really Entry week for cleaning, but I have to get the closet ready to accept the decor from the Entry)

Also trash and recyclables to the cans (thanks, BookSaver for mentioning it).

One of my timers has died. Dd32 and I were using a magnetic circle one to time a pizza dough's rising for the boys to cook, and had it magnet-ed to the front of the fridge. DangerBoy wanted to see, and reached for it but his Dad reached to stop him in case he changed the time. The magnet came off the timer  and the timer fell. I just tried it on today's declutter and may still keep ticking, but does not ring any more. Oh, well, I had bought an extra "tomato" type one at Tarjay dollar aisle, so that will take its place. This isn't as big a deal as when my Radio Shack Talking Timer, Hermione, died!

Making slow progress here. Most of a.m. routine is done. I just need to refresh laundry and empty dw to count the a.m. routine as complete. Have taken dd14 to synchro practice. I am now finishing some lunch.

Dh has gone to his office.

next:
-update laundry
-kitchen
-wrapping
-pick up dd14 at 1:10

Before we leave I have to:
  • DONE S2boots
    DONE Breakfast and meds
    DONE Dishes
DONE Get all addresses and maps together
    DONE Charge Kindle & Phone
So I guess it is time to get going. I also did some drawings of the kitchen so we could take the correct measurements to the counter top place.

I also emailed financial adviser to get some moola to pay for all of this.

I can't find any excuses to delay the trip any longer so "Away we go!!"

Hello Dear Ladies,

A brisk 32 degrees here, just too cold for me. I know some of you northern gals think that's a heat wave.

Think I am finally over my sinus infection, it just seemed to hang on, even with anti-biotics and I had to work with it, not fun.

Made new resolutions, accomplished two of my goals in 2012. Mostly make goals of weight loss, readings to do, debts to reduce, improve housekeeping.

I'm listening to "Kidnapped" by RLS. Harriet, your post about him got me interested in his work. And I'm finding I do enjoy the classics a lot and I can listen to them while doing housework. Also still working through a book by Mark Twain that a friend loaned me.

Have temporarily given up walking and exercising for a while. Shoulder is still giving me a problem and the cold seems to make it flare up. Will be glad to see warmer temps again.

Have baked corn bread and have a pot of beans on the stove. DH asked me to make them, said they are good food on a cold day.

Welcome to itneverends.

Will try to catch up on posts to see what everyone been up to, but first need to shower.

Off to the adventures.

That one is considered among his best, Sadie. A novel about Scotland with deep, well-drawn characters. He actually wrote a sequel, Catriona, but was dissatisfied with it. Congratulations on meeting your reading goal of 2012, though - that's what I certainly want to remember to say. I hope your shoulder will allow you to become active again soon.

Continuing with declutter/organizing
Christmas wrappings stored
Gift wraps/bows reorganized, adding a new box to hold tags and their makings
Gift boxes reorganized
"Gift Closet" box reorganized, contents card made, previous card tossed

Have been calendaring. Determined to remember birthdays and not be surprised by any teacher workdays, etc.

Not having a bright day here, but I'm moving along like the tortoise; I'll get there sooner or later.

Did get one LOL out and hung up. Discovered while I was sorting laundry the lost mesh bag with our dirty laundry, and bag with phone chargers, vitamins, etc., had been set into the laundry hamper and not left up at DD's as we feared. So that is straightened out. I unpacked our suitcase from trip and folded 2 baskets of clothes.

Been working on the most problematic of my year-end work, and I think I have all of that figured out, ready for my forms. People are so bad with their paperwork. I don't know anyone who stays on top of things the way I do. I have to beg people to give me their certificates, etc. There is a state database for the one kind, which I checked today. sigh...it's always a problem.

Cable got pulled out again to the printer and that took a while to get figured out. I've marked the problematic cable with a label. I need to mark the tower which it goes into...then I can fix this quicker if it happens again. I have banished DDog from the office.

Last day with 4 year old helper by my side. School resumes tomorrow. I've enjoyed this break from the alarms, but am thankful to have a way of keeping up with schedule.

The sun is out today and the snow is melting fast.

6lb baby boy was born around 3am this morning to DNeice. Both are doing great. I just checked on other DNeice to find out the induce date isn't today, but next week. Ooops! So there are a few more days to wait to meet the next baby.
