HAPPY BIRTHDAY to scattereds DS14, Nancy's ds and dgd#2!

Despite my rotating it, the tree isn't losing it's fulllness. I am wondering how I will ever get it in the box. :?

Today there are 5 people retiring at dh's workplace. One of them is a shift supervisor in dh's department. He has to give a short speech and hand him something?
They are having a meal for all employees and the families of the 5. There will also be 5 cakes for that part of the reception. Then tomorrow night we are invited to a retirement party for the guy in dh's dept.

Today I need to buy groceries and run errands. I ironed my clothes for today, last night, so now I need to shower. When I get home, I hope to get started cleaning.

Back from taking LO to school.
Phone call made to CI with DMom/DDad
Ditto on CI with DMIL

I recently switched my hipcards back to 3x5" index cards instead of Pocketmod. I enjoy changing things up to make it seem "new" and this was an easy change. :D

Alright! next up is Home loving cards.
*POOF*ing to see how much I can get done in 20 minutes

Happy Birthday wishes sent to Nancy's family!

CI -
Six room received a pick-up/put-away & swish/swipe within their 3 minute allotment. I am always amazed how much better a room looks after just 3 minutes of focused effort

Next up = focus time. This week focus (for me) is the porch/entry area. *POOF*

Oh, thanks Harriet. I like my notebooks, all of them. I find them easier to find info in than file folders. I have a whole row of them, besides the household notebook, I have one for all our medical information, receipts and ins. policy; one for my church committee, and the rest are company work ones that I use almost daily. I know I'd do better if I could open up the household notebook and leave that open all the time. No space, though, because of all the office papers around.

Happy Birthday to Suzlew. I miss reading your posts.

I slept right through the early take-the-medicine alarm this morning so I am waiting for my coffee. Started right in with some paperwork for DH. I hope to finish up there and tackle the house. Kitchen first. Take down tree, etc. Which means I must bring in ladder and do something about my wak-in-closet. About a week's worth of work needing done today.

I'll see how much I can accomplish.

We received a phone call from TX last night that one of our friends here in AZ had an ATV accident and was life flighted to Phoenix. We haven't been able to reach anyone else here to find out more. He is one of the guys that DH will not ride with because of his hot-dogging driving in the desert. But, still, we don't want him hurt.

It is clear and cold here today. I need to find my long johns if I'm to be working out in the MH. So that will be next on the list. Then I will be moving some of the fridge stuff to MH so I can clean the one in the house for giveaway.

First up is breakfast and meds - will be adding migraine meds to it to keep the headache under control. My ears are buzzing - it sounds like when the 17 year locust are out. Sugar is pretty good this am so don't know what is causing it. But buzzing and headache go together.

** porch/entry decluttered, swept the walls down and vacuumed the rugs on all 3 porches. Vacuuming the rugs will have to do this time (I prefer to take them to the car wash and BLAST them clean with high pressure). I love our dogs, but the white Great Pyrenees dog sheds like crazy. He likes to lay on the rug in front of the door (which I like - good luck Mr Burglar sneaking past this big dog) and his hair sticks to the "wipe your feet" rugs.
** The final Christmas tub put into the cellar. Also decided to arraign the cellar into months..... which meant lots of moving and stacking. I'm no where close to being done, but have a plan and a start. November and December tubs are neatly stacked on concrete blocks (in case water gets into the cellar). I selected an empty tub for January items and brought it up to be filled this month.

Next up - CFO cards
