Scattered...She left, but I will tell her when I see her again. Whenever that might be

Elly....I have been wanting to check out Downtown Abby, I am intrigued. But I will have to start at the begining, lol.

Harriet....You ROCK woman!!!!

Kathryn....i am going to respectfully ask that you keep the snow up North for the time being please, lol.

Well, I just spent an over hour sorting into small piles all the paper/mail/stuff on the table. My Goodness, I have been sloppy these last couple of months. I wont embarass myself my saying HOW sloppy, but suffice to say, its going to take a bit to untangle the mess I have effortlessly managed to create. Seriously, wasnt hard at all to let it all slide to this degree. Just not the wisest thing I have ever done  I DEFINATELY have to keep progress going on fixing this.

Now mind you, I said I 'sorted' the papers/mail/stuff. Now I have to open ALL THAT MAIL that I have been ignoring for much too long. Thats where things get a bit nauseating. But perservere I must, and perservere I shall.

Going to flip my last load of laundry. Dh should be returning any time now with the groceries, and I will put those away. I will also assemble dinner to get that in the oven, before I sit down for one more session of paperwork.

Ine... I'm right beside you doing laundry. Got to go flip and fold after this. Took Willy boy for walk. Am thinking I may take him over to the national park tomorrow. It's only 4 miles from here. Want to start walking the paved roads there and then advance to the small desert ridge hikes. Gotta remember to take twizzers with me. Catus needles and doggie paws don't go together.

If I discover we both enjoy these kinds of hikes I will invest in doggie boots to protect Willis feet from sharp rocks and such. Most people who don't know about the bully breed are scared to approach us when we walk. By being out by myself I like that. I do carry nonharmful pepper spray that the postalservices uses. Not for Willis...he's a really sweet pup, just ask Norma and Mr guy, but I am always weary off running into some other dog that is off leash. Sweetie and Sadie were attacked like that and it's amazing they were able to get away.

I got the signatures notarized earlier so that is done. Dsis's xh had a stack of family photos for me - some with my ddad as a young man - that came from dsis' house. I took my time getting back home and took the "scenic" route and read some Civil War markers, and then have napped so the day is slipping away.

-scan the signed papers and email to attorney (to confirm that signatures, etc are complete - I'll mail the originals once I'm sure everything is correct)
-dig stuff out of front hall closet to move wrapping paper back
-feed the poor suffering ddogs
-water plants
-clear kitchen table

Cowinkie...No, dog paws and cactus needles dont go together. That would not be fun.

Dh came home and is not feeling well again. He has had this cold since Christmas. I finally got him to agere to the doctor, but he wants to give a few more days  . Come Wednesday, if things arent imporoved, Im really going to get on his case about it.

Put the groceries away and flipped the laundry. I just have towels left in the washer and if I dont get back down there today, they will still be there tomorow, lol. Little tired from up and down the stairs all day. I also got my shampoo and conditioner orderd online. THAT is a very good thing.

Lasagna is in oven, another 45 minutes and dinner will be ready. I am going to get a couple of bills out of the pile and get those paid and get my things ready for morning. Tomorrow morning when I get in from my first shift, I am planning on fluffing and folding my hang dry things and working on some misc sprcial care laundry/ that should be only two loads I hope. I am also going to work at LEAST 45 minutes on the paper project. If there is time left before I have to return, I would like to spend some time in my room, straightening that up. We'll see tho.

Running low on steam, dont know how much more I can get done today. Foregoing the smileys this post. they really are a pain when you are tired, lol. Sorry scattered.

I'm thinking I may start watching Downtown Abbey tonight. I've never watched it, but I think I would like it.

INE -- yes, I'm already taking P*xil @ bedtime. Of course, that means it's about midnight when I take it. Maybe I should try to schedule it to take when I eat supper. But it is REALLY hard for me to remember to take a pill then. I try try try to remember to take my vitamin then -- b/c it sorta upsets my stomach if not taken w/a pretty good meal -- but I forget 99% of the time!

INE -- that is a GREAT list of ta-das!!! You go, girl!
Hope your dh feels better soon!

Twins -- scenic route sounds very relaxing. You are doing GREAT w/your help for dsis, btw!!! Hang in there!
Hope dd feels better soon!

Ouch -- Cowinkie -- I must say I'm glad tweezers are not a part of my walk routine.

WTG on the willpower, Kathryn! (orange segments).

You're doing great, too, Harriet!

Happy birthday to OKay's dmom! WTG, OKay!

Waving to all! Busy evening for us here. Since some bright idea convinced principal to switch our faculty meeting day to Monday  dh says we need to go to Wmart tonight. It is driving OCD dh crazy... but he doesn't want to do it tomorrow, when I may be late getting home & then we might be rushed to get his dmom's stuff to her & eat supper before the ballgame. * sigh * He HATES going on Sunday night, and so do I... but looks like this is going to be the plan for a lot of the next 19 Mondays. OTOH -- Wmart is MUCH less crowded on Sunday nights than Monday afternoons.

Also need to iron, maybe do one more load of laundry.

Hope y'all have a great night!
Tomorrow is another day.

Done with helping h. have one more bird in the freezer now. So glad that's done the back yard is SO much more peaceful now I can't believe it! Hens are happy and grazing. Got the kitchen cleaned up before and after that chore. Found some R.I.R. I think and will have to let go of three more non productive hens to make room for these. It's been so long since we've don't this chore as kids we are re-learning some of it. Wanted to get to this before the grands came around again.

I got the work clothes washed for h. for this next week so that's good.
Ex. done too.
Having a good day and enjoying the sunshine 8-) we're having now.

Wow, Nancy. Other than my grandmothers, I think you're the only person I've known personally who could dispatch a fowl.

Done again - whoops I still need to send the email with the document which I will do now.

-straighten the laundry room (dd has been busy in there)
-straighten master br
-to do li&t for tomorrow

We're at the point that dd is driving me nuts! Stuff all over that hopefully goes back to school tomorrow, we're trying to cater to her about supper and she won't decide anything.

If she's not going to decide about supper I'll go ahead and walk the ddogs soon.

INE - Oh how you hate paperwork... Tell DH that I said to get over it and go to the Dr or I'll have to come up there and "deal" with him. :twisted

Cowinkie - a hike sounds like fun

Twins - I love taking the "scenic route"

Lucylee - have fun at WM

Well not sure if the nap helped or not, not sure if I really slept, got up 10 minutes before the DS's were planning on getting me up. I checked the roast and even though it had been on high for 2 hrs it was not even registering on the thermometer, so I transferred it to my roasting pan and put it in the oven (Crock-pot bags made it easy ;) ). I'm gonna make minted carrots, mashed potatoes (frozen homemade), and whole wheat rolls to round out dinner.

Need to check school schedule I believe I have class tomorrow night. :( I have class Monday and Thursday nights and another class that is strictly internet. Only taking 9 credit hours this semester, but that is 3 classes and may drive me crazy with working full-time. Also need to fold and flip LOL and then work on Card File.

Ended up in bed for almost 3 hours. Sigh... Hope I can sleep tonight. Feels like I will be able to.

My abdomen is sore but I suspect 1) my tummy in NOT empty and 2) I'm not sick. I blame the ab exercises I started 4 days ago. When I measured myself on Jan 3 (for the first time in 5 years) I was shocked at how out of proportion larger my tummy area was compared to days past. My hips were only an inch larger but my tummy was 2.5" larger. So time to start focusing on that area both by diet (I'll see if cutting down on sugar - not cutting it out - will help get rid of my sugar belly) and exercise.

I see many of you are doing laundry so I need to get at that.

Dh was outside shoveling for hours while I napped. ItNeverEnds on what border would you like me to stand to push back the snow, NY/Can or NY/PA?!

Dh is cooking dinner so I should step away from the computer and be a moral support if not a practical one.

Kathryn, I think the bigger waist is a result of menopause (for you probably pre-menopausal changes.) I feel like every thing I eat goes to my waist.

I have the start for the to-dos for tomorrow, when I'll be back at work. We ordered a pizza finally, after I kept pushing everyone.

I'm going to take ddogs for their walk, then will read for awhile. The alarm will be at 5:30 tomorrow. :? :? :?
