Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
Good morning! I am up -- earlier than usual.
That is only b/c the girls are back to school today. Dh and ds are still asleep.
I have let the dog out, let the dog in, folded a small lol, and am sipping some milky tea.
I'm with the rest of you here -- next up is B. study/devo. time. Then, I'll jump in the shower and make progress on the a.m. routine.
General goals for today:
-a.m. routine
-laundry progress (I'm behind on towels; we seem to own a small army of towels)
-go through a pile on my desk
-progress going through files on my ex-laptop (Dh is proposing using it for our music, which right now is all on his laptop so when he's not home, I cannot play music in the house, a fact about which I am not happy; in order to have space for all the music on this particular laptop, the photos need to be erased. My task is to make sure all the photos have indeed been transferred to my current laptop before permanently erasing them.) *phew* That was quite a wordy explanation!
-groc. list
-groc. store
-shopping with ds
-DPC, emails
-dd14 to synchro by 5:15
-supper -- not sure what yet
-pick up dd14 at 7:40

Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
I'm up, s2s and taking care of things on the computer. DH is still sleeping -that IS
unusual. He's usually the one up at 6. Did hear the alarm at 6 -he turned it off and rolled over. Of course he did take 2 benadryl at bedtime last night.
His neck has been bothering him so much he'd been having trouble sleeping.
DD has gone to work but GD still has today off (teacher work day).
Still waiting on 1 report to be able to finish up the first leg of the church's Annual Report.
First she said last Wed. night, then the end of the week, then the weekend, then last night. I'm getting a tad irritated you might say. Sure hope it comes this morning. I am going to work on getting the rest of the pages organized and ready to go out. (All the financial reports are still lacking, but that is expected. If they come before I send it tomorrow, I'll include them.) But, that being said, it usually takes me many hours to do the 1 financial report of all the accounts and expenses. That's partly because I have to discern which info needs to be included and it has to be an entirely different format than what is done each month for council. That's done in excel on 8.5x14 and I have to get info so it's readable on 8.5x11.
Kinda wish dh would get up -all my meds and breakfast food are in the bedroom (I'm in the office.)

I'm up, too! Good morning!
Coffee, Bible reading, FB, and obits check are the first things I do. Then must go to post office. After that, we will see...

Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
Good morning!
Welcome home, Elizabeth!
I am hoping Ivy will check in today.
Yesterday afternoon dd1 and I went to see Les Miserable. It was her second time and she said she would like to see it again. I really liked it, but I don't like to watch the same movie more than once but I do have exceptions to that rule.
Dh did start the bathroom demolition on Saturday. He has the trim off, carpet out and the ceramic tile up. He did leave the tile around the toilet, for now. He will also be taking out the tub and surrounding tile from it. It will be replaced with a walk-in tub sized shower that he will ceramic tile. We will replace the toilet, vanity and mirror. The floor will be ceramic tile. Dh wants a new mirror and wanted a new sink/counter top, but was going to leave the vanity. I finally convinced him to replace it, too. If you are going to spend that much to re-do it, it might as well all be new. He has done a lot of research and has decided on this shower stall assembly that costs $5000.00 but it will provide a leak free base on which to place ceramic tile. He took before pictures. The main bathroom won't be done until next winter. So I have another year plus, until I can take a relaxing bath again. With my claustrophobia, a bath in a tub with sliding shower doors is not relaxing to me at all.
Have a few errands to run today and then I need to get to cleaning again. When I straightened the storage closet the other day, there were things that I put in what I call my library. The middle of that room is piles of things and boxes. I need to get that taken care of and quit adding to it or ignoring it. The bug man will be calling anytime to set up an appt. and I want to be ready for him.
Guess I better do breakfast and meds.

Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
I'm up I've opened the chicken door, the water was not frozen today. it's 30* this morning it's peaceful outside with out the roo crowing. So we are hoping for more eggs production. Hens seemed to adjust to the calmness right away w/out roo around yesterday afternoon. Had an eye opening moment this weekend I was hoping to have a doz. or more hens so I could have eggs to sell at some point but realized that there is just not room here.
H. is getting his lunch ready.
Coffee is done.
I have granny duty later on school is back in session today as well.
So it's back to work today for us.
My bs is in my target range so that is good.
37* here now 43* is our forecast high.

Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
Not much demo to do here. I have most of that done. Today is to empty the fridge and start to clean it. Some will go in the MH fridge and some in the garage fridge. We are so lucky to have them both.
I also need to make up another dish of scalloped potatoes. I made one yesterday but took it to my friend's house with 1/2 of the ham I baked. She has her two sons and a DIL with her now so it helped with supper last night.
After I bake the potatoes, I will start deep cleaning the stove. I also have to call H4H to come pick them up. I will have the MW and the grill to cook in unless I want to go to the MH kitchen.
I also have several phone calls to make today for materials and delivery dates.
First, after breakfast and meds, is to clean up the kitchen. I left it quite a mess yesterday.

Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
So nice of you to bless someone else with your scalloped potatoes. Think that's what I'm making for dinner also. (Of course I have to go buy potatoes first
).
I'm about to tear my hair out. I'm trying to place each report I've done in the order they have to go to be sent to our church for printing. Every time (or nearly so) I copy/paste it changes the format and I have to do it all over again. I'm still waiting for that 1 report.
DH is getting ready to go visit his DB on the job and DSonIL is getting ready to go pick up the pictures from his MRI on his back (he sees the neurosurgeon tomorrow -finally!)
Think I'll go put my legs up for 15 -can feel my ankle swelling with them down for the last 2 hours or so.
