Got my ex. card done.
dgd collected the eggs today three around two o'clock she is good to be careful with the basket and has to carry it all by her self back to the house. A very important job! Snow did not set the girls back today.
Sent off an e-mail for some other hens hoping they lay and work out for us.

This weekend is a potluck at church and the business meeting and update of stuff so we will be going to that. I'm trying to decide what to take maybe some stir fry veggies in the crock pot.

It's a balmy 41* outside here today.

Nancy, 46 degrees here. I'll take the ddogs out to walk in a few.

Long slow day at work. Took care of quite a few bits of personal stuff - phone calls, paperwork, responding to emails. Had only 45 minutes of time chargeable to a client.

Tomorrow is a long day. Sometime I need to get the petition (signed, with notarized signatures) into the mail, preferably overnight. My mom has a dr appt at 10 a.m. so I have to be sure she remembers and get here there. Working in between, altho I'm not busy at work right now, then have a 5:30 meeting at temple.

I'm considering a trip to Atlanta to see dsis on Wednesday. I need to have her sign a form for me, but I also want to see how she is. Dnephew's dwife said she has been quite short on the phone with them.

I am tired. First day of getting up at 5:30 again. Will be an early bedtime, in spite of football game tonight. I tend to favor the SEC, but it's so hard to pull for Alabama.

After picking up LO from school we made several stops
** Bank to drop off bags
** MPB to do some cleanup (LO loooves to help)
** DMom's to help find her TV remote (missing since yesterday). Found it between cushions on couch.

I used a "go-to" meal for supper since I didn't have anything planned. Low Carb tortillas, shredded cheese, shredded chicken & butter turned into some quick & YUMMY quesadillas.

I'm frustrated. Somehow I lost a section in my OneNote notebook. THIS ISN'T SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN! I suspect it was deleted by accident yesterday. There was several who wanted to look at my phone (Galaxy Note) and they were thumbing through different apps and screens. I know they didn't do it on purpose (if that is how the section was deleted). I suspect it will remain a mystery how it happened. I was able to restore it from a device that hadn't been turned on today. I turned the internet off before booting the tablet and exported the missing section to a different location. That way I had a copy because once I turned the internet on and the Onenote notebook sync'd the section was deleted on the tablet to match the cloud version. This explanation is clear as mud.

Have continued around the room and now the area where I exercise sometimes, plus the corner for upholstered chair and ottoman, are all cleared and cleaned, dusted, lint-roller-ed. This whole visually hidden area spent time as the hidey-place for gift-giving/wrapping secrets, ranging from talking dinosaurs to remote control spiders to tractor gift-wrap, plus the gift-receipt and records place, too! Since then it's been the donation drop off spot as the closet was reorganized! I know HRH will be glad to have our private small seating/tv space reclaimed from "grandma's secret-keeping" and projects!

Dee, if I were you I would take the option of letting the church secretary organize your work with the headings she knows, and simply explain you don't want your current technical problem to cause a delay. That way (as long as you two communicate well, and I'm sure you yourself will do that well) Dee and family can breathe a sigh of relief and be finished with the project.

I've had to switch egg cartons because eggs are too big. Penny's eggs are so large they weren't safe being held in the "large" cartons at all and are pretty tight, even in the "extra large". The newest style of fold-over carton I had saved, with bigger "latch" parts is necessary. Her eggs are so much larger than the others' that I may have to use separate cartons for them. The others' eggs rattle around in the ones that fit Penny's. (Wonder if she's getting ready to lay some double-yolks... ...I haven't had any of those in many years.) I can't take credit for Penny's raising, as I got her in early fall as a pullet, but she certainly is thriving here.

I stand corrected! Dh and I were talking about the new shower and that kit is $500.00, NOT $5000.00. I am glad, but can't believe I misunderstood. Just wanted to clear that up.

Got up late, had breakfast after 12, started to be productive then remembered choir at 1:30 and didn't get home from that until 4 (visiting after and then an errand.) Napped from 5 - 6.

Dinner and a movie, so now it is 8:45 and I'm just getting going again.

Dh ended up coming home a little earlier than usual, so he helped me get dinner together. OK - he sort of took over the cacciatore. Dinner has been made, eaten, and cleaned up. I have fetched dd14 from synchro and went back to Walgreens to pick up dd17's prescription. The wait was unusually long, but that was OK b/c an acquaintance, the mother of a girl dd17 went to elem. and middle school with, was in line with me and we got to catch up a little.

I am home now and have washed up the rice pan and paddle. I'm going to check on my lol in the dryer since ds is doing his laundry now too. Then, I'll work on the photos on the extra laptop.

I'm glad too, Lilac. I have no idea how much those things cost, but that is a friendlier price, for sure!

We are heading toward the 50s on Friday and Saturday. At least one screen of the weather web site says so, with a high of 57 predicted for Saturday. A different screen (calendar form) predicts highs of 47 and 49 those 2 days. Usually the discrepancy between those 2 screens is not so great. Hmmm..... I think they measure temps at 2 slightly different locations, actually. I would tend to believe the lower forecast in this instance. Anyhow, I think all our snow might be gone by next week.

Lilac, I had missed the numbers, but remembered

With my claustrophobia, a bath in a tub with sliding shower doors is not relaxing to me at all.

and mentioned it to HRH. He said he understands that feeling and is glad you will be able to renovate and change that. He says it's a good thing many hotels have changed over to curtains only, since, besides the problem for those with claustrophobia, it's more simple and comfortable in a strange place for most people, and easier to keep disinfected with so many people using it.

That doesn't mean we haven't admired the renovations of several friends who have done enclosed ones - they certainly can be attractive, especially some enclosed showers.

I exercised to the point of needing to catch my breath while HRH cooked pasta. Dd14 texted her big sister during this and they both got a chuckle at the irony, which has, of course, been much this way since dd32 was the teen girl in the house. Anyway, it was delicious, especially for a winded exerciser. Evening routine done well. Nite nite.

I never thought about being claustrophobic in a tub with doors. I've never had one but even thinking about it makes me feel uneasy. Because of our travels, we do all kinds of tubs and showers and combos. I'm not fond of glass enclosures but we've enjoyed a couple of oversized (i.e. bigger than a regular tub would be) showers with just one panel but straight walk-in and that's what we want to do when we renovate.

We'll leave the tub in the main bath (or upgrade it to a soaker tub which is what we have now in our bathroom since the whirlpool motor is seized!) but it will be a walk-in shower with a bench for our bathroom. In the meantime, I loved the curved rods at hotels and wanted to buy one but then we realized we could simply move our straight rod 3" further out (the curtain still is well within the tub but hangs at an angle into the tub.) That makes a big difference in making our shower seem bigger. In fact, it makes it 180" square inches larger (3"x60" length of the tub.) The big thing is that our arms no longer hit the shower curtain while soaping up our hair.

Dh is ready to head off to bed now so I shall follow. I got the dishes done, opened the mail, emptied the paper recycle and did a bit of tidying.

I don't like bathtubs with glass shower doors above. Those tracks are hard to clean. And the newer ones that are trackless and fold up like accordion, well, they're usually not glass and I don't like them either. We have a large glass door on our master walk-in shower and because that glass is perfectly clear it seems to disappear. Our big deep soaker tub is very hard for me to get out of, I don't use it very much. Lilac, that's a much better price!

It's been a hard day. I got some more changes to my spreadsheets done, after going over the last bank statement. And I got the last business report done. That took a long time.

Went to the county office and couldn't get my paperwork since DH forgot to sign the back of one when he took it down there (they notarize his signature). I waited too long in the lobby before being seen for him to be able to come straighten it out. So, an hour wasted. I was NOT happy.

My minutes aren't done yet. I just want to stop for the day. I really shouldn't, but I think my brain is dead now. DDog was all upset about something just like last evening and is driving me crazy. 2 trips outside...she better not get me up at 4 again.
