Good Morning Twins!!! Love the quote, and so true it is.

I WISH my Saturday was going to be simple. Its going to be anything BUT. However, part of the reason for the chaos is I am trying to get to the "simple" part. Just going about it in a very "large" way.

My week was very long and tiring. I did another one of those 18 hr Fridays yesterday, but thankfully I am not as dragged out today as I was last Saturday. So far so good today. Although a nap sometime in the daylight hours is almost a given for today, I am working on NOTHING except the paper monster on my diningroom table. Dh is going to be working around me getting all the Xmas stuff packed properly and put away downstairs. The tree and all that stuff is down, just needs to be gotten "outa here". Like YESTERDAY

Waving Hello and Good Morning to those that follow!!!! :)

So having said that, I shall begin climbing the paper mountain.

ToDo's for Today
AM todo's
Meds
email and boards
breakfast
wash up and d2s
put on climbing gear and prepare for the marathon of paper mountain climbing

Happy birthday LisaB.
It's cold out this morning my goal is simple stay warm it's cold here!
The water inside the chicken coop was frozen I had a fresh supply of
warm water and feed with me when I went out today to check on them. 18* fair with 28* for our high temp. is the forecast here today. H. has an errand to do I need to see if my pill Rx has been filled I only have a few left so will check on that.
Tomorrow's temps. are not much better 19*- 25* br-r. Mon. we finally get up to the freezing mark 31* hopefully. So inside stuff this weekend I suppose are the focus. It's hard to think about moving much at the moment!

Yesterday H. turned on the light for the hens, I slept in went on about my day and felt bad when I let them out 15 min. early when I saw their water was frozen. So I scurried around with warm water buckets for them. They were vocal most of the day, laid late in the day. Today I did not repeat that mistake. Ack! Cold weather routines are a bit different for sure. So I'm up at 6:00 and the coffee is on today! Waiting until day light to let them out this morning.

I'm back in from letting them out I looked up and realized it was time I made up hot mush for them this morning pumpkin, oats and took that out with the outside water bucket. I've heard about heated dog dishes so water does not freeze might check into one of those. I'm reading up on chickens in the cold in Alaska they do not heat coops but are well insulated! Phew! Glad to know that it does not get that cold. I've got chickens that do good in cold except the green egg layers. I have to keep reminding my self that the wild birds do fine!

H. wanted to go to the place where I got feed last and I said he had to wait so I could go too! LOL! Feed store date even better than a home depot date!

We are having record high temps today - supposed to be 74 degrees and rainy.

I am remembering I'm supposed to take a urine specimen and a fecal sample to the vet today for dMacs, also.

This round:
-quick s2s
-make the bed
-walk ddogs, get samples if possible
-grocery list
-pack up return to mail today

Good Morning, Villagers! :D

We got up at 6:45 a.m. and it's icy outdoors.

My To Do today:
- Clean house
- Fold & put away some socks & underwear
- Log and submit 7 short features
- Work on stories
- Run the DW
- Sort the mail when it arrives
- To read on my book for writers, called, "Wild Mind", by Natalie Goldberg.
- To clean my office from top to bottom by the evening, after my work's all done.
- To work on my expenses records for the accountant.

Ta Da:
- Coffee
- Prayers for others & myself
- Saw the morning news.
- Told a friend that the news said to disable Java because Homeland Security said that bad guys are using that software to gain valuable information off computers in the USA

Have a great day, Everyone! :D

I'm up and at it. A little more positive feeling than yesterday but not my regular self. I skipped exercising. Weight is moving in the right direction and I worked out on the treadmill 6 days last week and walked to the store on the 7th so I decided a day off was in order.

I did my SAD light while having green tea.

Dishwasher is unloaded, first lol is folded and put away, second is in the dryer, third is queued up to be run after the septic system has a rest. Dishwasher is emptied. I worked on devotions during my SAD light time so they are done too.

Re this site running slow: It isn't our imagination, I've run a test using an outside service and the results run from under a second to 45 seconds for this page to load, averaging 8 seconds. There's nothing we can do about this, though. GoDaddy moved a number of websites to a new server to improve service and I'm seeing a lot of complaints. Don't know if we were moved over or not (don't have access to that info.)

Managed to do all that round, and also packed up shred to drop off at UPS store and rebooted the laundry. I am heading out now for my errand run.
