Ugh, running late this morning and slept very poorly and then got up late - I probably went to bed too early last night. I'm just feeling generally irritated this morning. DH is gripping about stupid things and I'm irritable about other stupid things. I still need to walk the ddogs and s2s and get out of here.

I'm also stressing out because haven't found a dog sitter for this weekend.

I originally got irritated at dh because he gasped and made a frustrated noise when I turned on the light to look for my mouthguard which I had dropped beside the bed. When I went back to look for it, he "took over" and got in my way and of course, didn't find it anyway. Once he got out of the way, I pulled out the baskets of books I have under the bed and there it was. Isn't it weird how irritable we can get over the stupid things?

Onward...will go ahead and walk ddogs first.

INE - Good Morning, I'll try calling you while I am driving all over Central VA.

I need to get my turbo fired up, I need to be out of here in 30 minutes and I have yet to do anything but check my bank account and pay some bills. I have about 200 miles of driving in front of me today... ugh. Tonight I am going to a company function at a local comedy club.

Gotta run get in the shower, and then finish my SDR & GRWR. Have a great day Villagers!

Also on the run today.

Lucylee: YOU NEED TO EXERCISE! Preferably 20 minutes glowing/perspiring/sweating (whatever word Southern Belles use for getting wet due to exertion!) You need your heart rate up for a legitimate reason (not panic attack) and you need to breathe more deeply and exercise forces you to do that. Then there are all the good hormones that are released during exercise to help calm you. Ideally, this should be after work, given your schedule. Can you walk the track at school or in that neighbourhood so that you have the burst of good stuff before you face your evening at home? I'm only asking that you delay your evening by 30 minutes. Even better is if you can find another teacher to use as a walking buddy.

I'm out of here in just over an hour. But am still on the treadmill because I lost track of the songs (I should be on my cool-down song now.)

See you all in the late afternoon!

Good morning! I am up, have let dog out, have let dog in, have had a cup of tea, checked email, said good bye to dgirls.

Last night, I cleaned up the kitchen, sent an email to the Thursday crew, and then was so tired that I just worked on the photos on the extra laptop. I found all our Australia photos! I had thought they were stuck on our desk computer, which is currently out of commission - but no, they've been on my laptop all this time. :) Ah, I guess that is my SHE-ness shining through.

My day:
-a.m. routine
-menu plan made
-write the closing lines of the New Year's Letter already. . . .
-coffee with dh at some point?
-help take marching band uniform returns at the hs 12:30 - 2:30
-groc. store
-exercise somehow some form -- NOT jogging outside.
-dd14 to oboe lesson 4:45 - 5:45
-progress on desk piles (should have been finished last week) and photos
-dinner: tuna pasta, salad, bread; dh will be out for dinner tonight, something work-related.

So, I'm off to make more tea and tackle the a.m. routine.

Happy Birthday Ivy. Best Wishes for you this coming year.

paid some bills today.
I rcd my licence in the mail today. Who is that old lady? I'd guess I've aged a heap these last 5 years. It came with a screed - it has a chip for a heap of details. I read the brochure and I am none the wiser as to what its about, or if I have any say in "things" that go on there.

I have an hour left of today.
seeking to
do dishes
steam mop kitchen
shower teeth etc
bed
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

I have 6 candles lit upstairs and 1 in the basement. I fixed a meal in the crockpot last night that had powdered onion soup in it. It is delicious but always makes the house smell good while it is cooking and not so good later. I always do the candle thing and that takes care of it. I should have done it last night though. Oh well....

Today I need to run errands, which include picking up the shower basin and double checking the color for the master bath countertop. When I am picking up the basin, I will look for the tile to the main bath. If I find what I want, we will need to measure and order it, if it takes awhile for it to be delivered.

After just 15 minutes, the candles are doing the trick.

The bug guy is suppose to call today to set up an appt. I am not sure if it will be for today or tomorrow.

Dd2 was in a mood yesterday. Everytime she called, she was snippy. She was having different issues about the business and would ask for my input. Then she wouldn't like the answer and would be short with me. Her other issue was that the 3 older kids hadn't had their flu shots and she was planning to get them yesterday. She ended up going to county health because the clinic they go to were out. She had a mountain of paperwork to fill out before they could get their shots. The only way I knew this was because I didn't see her pick the kids up, so called to see if I needed to. Turned out she had picked them up early and was in the middle of the paperwork when I called. Never heard from her, which is just as well. Hopefully, today she will get out of bed on the right side and be in a better mood.
