Hello again, Villagers! :D

Scattered, I hope you and I get to feeling better soon, too! :!:

DH went grocery shopping, he's made a sarcastic remark, in humor, how I spend ALL my time in the office when I DON'T! He then left, I put on George Winston's "Autumn - 20th Anniversary" CD and tried to rest. But DH was getting under my skin. I got up, I put some decorative wooden fruit in a flat round wood fruit bowl, fixed the wooden fruit on it's wood tray, washed the kitchen window, windowsill, the kitchen counters, dumped trash, fed the cat her dry food in her night-night room (utility room), and loaded the DW. I was busy and on my feet 30 min. and then DH came home!

I told him I nearly called his cell to tell him he nearly made me cry! :( But figured that was neither the time or the place. I said, "Are YOU really SERIOUS when you say I'm in my office all the time?????" :?: He said, "No! I was just teasing you!" I said, "Well, I make a point to come out to the great room to chat with you, to visit, and talk about things and you're always watching TV. I need to write in the office to help earn money, you know." He said, "Oh, I KNOW that. I was kidding." I said it wasn't very funny.

When he came in, he brought the mail and groceries. My 2 nightgowns came, which are a gift from BFF and her DH for my b-day. I told him ALL the things I did while he was gone, when I was working off my frustration, which included giving our cat dry food. After lunch, DH went to give our cat dry food and was surprised her bowl was full! :o I said, "But I TOLD you all the things I did and one was to feed her!" He said, "But you said so MANY things, I had to filter some of them out and feeding the cat was ONE of them!" So I don't feel 100%, got my feelings hurt because of not feeling well, and now whenever we talk to each other, it's comical, but it's really nice. You know? He is watching a movie now.

I brought coffee into my office, opened my top office drawer, to get out my crocheted CD coaster, spilled coffee into my clean new tidy drawer! But it was just a few drops, didn't "injure" anything important, which is nice. It made me laugh at myself.

Thank you, Blessed, for wishing me to feel better, too. :) We're having an air inversion, I was out and about yesterday and then last week we were at the hospital NICU and germs are all over the hospital. It seems like a lot of bugs are going around here lately and fortunately we've had flu shots, but some deaths have occurred from the flu in our state lately. :(

Scattered, I've never learned how to do spreadsheets. :?: I've been to Excel and tried working on things, but get so confused and nervous that I get OUT a.s.a.p. and don't go back!

Sorry this got so long. It must be the coffee! :!: Have a great later afternoon and evening. :D

We got 5 lg. eggs today none of the smaller ones from the new layer not a surprise. Found a new chicken magazine today h. read it cover to cover while dgd was at McD's play land. Found yarn on sale too so I just need some grey and I can start doing hats maybe for next year as our team is out for superbowl running so I could care less about it this year so I'm using that time for cleaning and getting the house spiffed.

Blessed - thanks for the inspiration

Ivy - I love spreadsheets, but have to take the class for the degree... figure I can always learn something new.

Nancy - I wish you lived close so I could beg some eggs off you. ;)

Got 2/3 parts of my homework done for ITE 215, and after reading the announcement section that puts me a week ahead. 8-) Really feeling like crap though... think I am going to hold off on 3rd class until tomorrow. Going to watch a little TV, take some more Emer-Gen-C, have a cup of tea, and go to bed early.

Handled the email, finished the minutes from the Joint board meeting (still have to write up the minutes from the 10 minute emergency church board meeting we held after the joint meeting) and then it was time for dinner, fish and chips (baked fish.)

We watched another episode of The Book of Daniel. Since there were only a few episodes, we are quickly running out of them. Sigh... I enjoy it fully.

I did up the hand dishes, started the dishwasher and then made tea and did my devotions (2 days' worth - I'm still slipping behind from time to time but am working hard to catch up.)

Now I'll write up those other minutes and then I'll be able to put some papers aside for a while. I've moved everything to the dining table so the kitchen is staying relatively neat. It does make sitting down to do my devotions a lot more inviting.

I've been playing classical music all day on the stereo in order to keep me at my keyboard. This morning was our rousing LP of all-time favourites, tonight is a CD of soothing music. Dh likes it too. He can't work if there are words, so classical music is our music of choice when we are both listening. When he's not home, I'll put on disco or really rousing classic rock in order to keep moving while I do chores.

The weather this afternoon was too beautiful to stay indoors. I spent over 6 hours outside working in the yard and garden. My body is saying OUCH! from the hours of bending, carrying, pushing wheel barrow, hauling, etc. However it's a "good hurt" :D

Practically my whole life is on one or another spreadsheet! After 10 years of spreadsheets, I'm pretty good with them.

Today was a good day but I'm tired now. I slept in late and had a hard time getting going. Watched some TV while the coffee was "working" on me, then I was good to go. I baked about 4 doz. choc. chip cookies to take to the pot-luck.

Then I made a list and went to the grocery store. DH had wanted to go with me, but he had a job situation to attend to so he did that and caught up with me in the store. We filled my cart and half of his. It was the most expensive shopping I've done in a while. But I got everything we were out of and enough meat for a couple weeks, probably.

It was such a joy to get ready to go to church tonight, with my neat-as-a-pin closet and dresser to pick clothes out from. And just a relief knowing whatever I picked to wear would fit me! The dinner was wonderful, with a time of socializing with friends...and it was just happy-happy. But I am tired now and in my flannel PJ's because it is cold here. 66° here, but that's chilly for us. I'm  to be complaining about the chill when others are really freezing, or have no heat in their houses (Scattered).

I think for a change I'll take my crossword puzzle book back to bed with me. It'll be nice to snuggle for a change.

Off to bed now. Dh and I practised the anthem again. There's a tricky line for me (except I'm not singing that part tomorrow, but I had to learn it for when it is just dh and I.) The foot tambourine we bought in Ithaca sounds perfect for this song. I'm so glad I suggested it to dh. And it is the first chance he's had to use it so the congregations will be surprised.

Off to bed now. Since we are doing the first service as well, we'll have to leave the house by 9, instead of 10:15.

My Saturday Swish was in our master bathroom, finishing up bathroom week and reporting in the Focus cleaning thread.

Dstepson and dstepgd spent much of the day with us. We made one of the recipes from the new healthy recipes book I bought HRH.

Oh, quick capture of a compliment on the bathroom
HRH said, "It looks good in there, darling, it surely does."

A sunday Swish
bed is changed
sheets to the line.
kitchen towels cloths etc washed too.
I'll go turn the sheet protector the other way.
It was warm enough its dry inside.
Turned the pillow protector. It will take a little longer.

I think I'll swipe the decorations off my mini tree beside the tv.
A slightly larger lunch box plastic box with maybe a crack will be good for the bells hanging on the door, and the baubles on the ribbon. yes - its time for tiding up from christmas here.

little tree is boxed. things are lined up to go away.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.
