done:
x 2 casseroles made and baked; just need cheese on top and another 20 minutes to re-heat
x 2 pans of scotchies are finishing baking
x cleaned up the kitchen after all the cooking.
x load of dark clothes folded and put away; 2 loads of towels washed. The dryer just beeped so I need to see if I can switch the loads
x took phone message for dd14 re: helping with something at church
x talked to dh who was en route to heliaville :) from the airport.

Next:
-update B and E
-take scotchies out of the oven
-work on dd17's Jr. Interview parent page. I just love homework for parents. :roll:
-make a salad
-head out the door by 3:45, hopefully, to (1) WF to pick up baguettes for dinner (2) drop off meal at dfriends' home (3) GFS, which is sort of in that general area of town.
-take dd14 to synchro
-go jog, maybe outside! --As long as it doesn't rain. . .

I've raked the neighbors front yd. as she has moved, our chickens were in her yard & most of the leaves were from our tree it's great exercise. 8-) It feels like spring out today yea!

Got more of the stuff I wanted to do done 1/3 of the counter by the sink has been reclaimed. I've swept the kitchen shook rugs out and it feels so good to be making some progress on this stuff inside. I gave myself a break to do the out side stuff for the next round now I'm back inside. I've had lunch.

It might be time for a bit of a break now.

Hello, villagers ~
I am lucky today to have been given a "do over." I went to bed early before 11 last night to try for some extra sleep. Didn't happen, I was wide awake at 4 and got up so I wouldn't disturb DH. I knew it wasn't enough sleep and felt awful, like I was going to get sick again. Worked until 7:30 and then went back to bed, slept for 3 1/2 hours, and woke up feeling so much better that it was as if I'd been given an extra day. Amazing what sleep will do!

Snow. Lots of snow. :P It's pretty, but I'm very glad I don't have to go out into it until tomorrow when the snowplows will have the streets in better shape.

Apron Day chores happening here in the kitchen and laundry. One of the cats is sitting beside me, purring very loudly, she's such a sweetie.

Must cuop, bbl.

~~~~waving Hi to all~~~~~
Just popping in to say Hello. I'm home from my mini trip. Need to keep my head down and focus hard for a bit to catch up on the gotta-do-cards.
Meal has been delivered. Dd14 has been delivered to synchro. I'm going to go to the gym, although that means I won't get home before 6:30. The casserole is made, the baguette is on the counter, and the makings for salad are sitting on the counter. We'll likely eat at 7, which is not unusual for us. I think dh may not be home much before then anyway -- and he will pop out a little later to make an appearance at a business dinner.
Glad to see OK safely home!!
HMmmm..... reading Bookie's weather. We don't have snow predicted, just cold temps.
I thought I had broken a floor lamp when I bumped it. Tried a new bulb (still in packaging) and that didn't work. Dusted box elder bug carcasses out of the torchiere shade :oops: , fiddled with the plug, gave up for a couple of days. Then I found another pkg of new bulbs, and one of those worked. Happy dance at not having to buy a new lamp!
Groan. I've been trying to ignore the snow, but in reality I have to get out and shovel my driveway. I have a dentist appt tomorrow at 11. There is so much snow that my car won't be able to get from the garage to the street if I don't shovel. Blurg.
I am so exhausted... I don't have the energy to do anything (including CUOP) DS20 is on laundry duty and DS14 is cleaning the kitchen and making dinner (hamburger helper). I am watching NCIS: LA from last night and then planning to go to bed early.
I should be doing homework but I am just to wiped out. Saturday I have to take DS14 t the Governor's School Downtown for entrance exams, my boss gave me permission to hang out at the office and use my work computer to do homework. 8-) Hopefully I will be able to catch up on all my homework Friday & Saturday.
Sweet Dreams Villagers, I'll "see" ya'll in the morning.
Hi everyone! In honor of anti-procrastination day, I have finally filed the claim for the ceiling damage in my house!!! GO ME!!! I have also inquired about the status of the auto claim (same company) from mid-December. While I was on the phone about that, my financial advisor called. On getting back to him, I found that their auditor found a mistake in one of my account transactions - I should have been informed of some sales charges, but wasn't. Interestingly enough, when the numbers were run, having the mistake gave me $60 more than I would have had otherwise. I decided to leave it alone! I also called the vet, because I am having a devil of a time getting dFosterCat to take her medicine. (My floor was more medicated than the cat this morning!) I have not heard back from them yet and it is rapidly approaching 5:00.
Tonight, I will try to find some more things I need for the Barbie dress. I could do dinner at church, but it is taco salad. Yuck and double yuck! I can't stand ground meat and I am allergic to cheese. I do think I will make Bible study at 615 though.
Yea for spring weather in Jan. here it was 52* today so I got two flower beds cleared of the leaves so happy about that.
H. called and said @ the oil change places they're all having really long lines so he will just have to wait it out.
I'm sort of glad gives me a bit more time to get to the table.
Kitchen has been reclaimed yea!
Chickens are only getting out if they stay home and half at a time and late in the day they all get a few min. out like 45 min. before dark. Seems to be working helps with the over grazing too. They did not stay home however so that did not work. :roll:
Got 2 pullet eggs and 3 others. I gave dd a doz. eggs the kids had collected. She did not like the eggs on the ship so will really appreciate these! :mrgreen:
