Scattered - I hope you get a good nights rest and feel refreshed in the AM.
Bookie - please take care of you while shoveling that snow!
Nancy - IMHO nothing is better than "real" eggs!
Road trip yesterday was wild. Two hours of being in a powerful thunderstorm. After the first 30 minutes I found a place to pull over and attempted to wait it out. After about an hour of waiting I decided >>insert wishful thinking icon<< the worst was hopefully passed over. The weather people said we had wind gust up to 60mph, hail, lightening, heavy rains. Driving through it didn't allow for any time to ponder which element of the storm was worst because it was all I could do to keep the car between the lines on the road that kept disappearing. It was almost a total white out. I was soooo very thankful to get through the storm to normal driving.
Time with DGS6 and DGD2 was priceless. My arms and/or lap were occupied by one or both of them about 95% of the time. DDIL was the perfect hostess. DSon arrived home late last night and we enjoyed visiting while he ate a late supper. DSon was planning to leave on another trip today but he arraigned to push his flight back until later today so he could spend several hours with me this morning. I appreciate his efforts. It meant he isn't arriving there until after midnight and won't have much time to sleep before being ON in the morning. Time just flies by when i am with them. ***Treasured Memories***
I ate 5 billion calories over the past 48 hours.
I slept less than 4 hours over the past 24 hours.
One of those statements is the truth and one is a slight exaggeration.
I'm going to stop and get some sleep. Tomorrow is a new day with a fresh start.
