Love lifts us up on Tuesday
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

Hugs to Twins and her dd as they journey through difficult times.
today
bin day - squished in two bulky palm flower woody stem bits.
dm rang - home at last.
walk w dog - a little short as it liked as odd showers threatened. (dbro needs some rain to wash the fine silt layer off his improved pastures. So I'm hoping it moves north.)

Re: Love lifts us up on Tuesday
Gooooood morning, Australia!
Lynlee, I hope you are hearing dry news there, drying at least.
I had a paragraph for Sadie yesterday and lost it. Hope I can remember - two things: first, Sadie, your Aunt Betty would be so happy to be the cause of the next generation talking to each other again. Second, how selfless and kind of you to step out of your comfort zone to be sure that in your absence others can enjoy visits with her and she with them.
I tried to post last evening but kept getting interrupted, then tried to post what I did have already while in the dark and hit the wrong key!
A success for yesterday was that I checked off all my healthy habits.
Elizabeth, is there something good that can happen for Miss 13 at the same time she gets med? Maybe she could remember both a good and bad thing? I'm assuming food after the meds would not be good?
My take on Richard III - the crux of the matter seems to boil down to whether this discovery/research changes anything about his role in history, and that seems to narrow to the fate of the two little boys, the Princes in the Tower, and who killed them. Some say the further DNA testing on the child bodies found hidden there won't prove anything, even if it proves they are the princes. I disagree! If these are proven to be the boys using the methods that just proved this body to be Richard, then historians will be able to place the dates of their deaths by the forensic scientists' determination of the children's age at death. If they died at a time in their lives after Richard's death then he is not a murderer - sort of. He could still be accused of sealing their fates by leaving them in the tower helpless until Henry killed them later or they died from conditions there. If they are not the princes, then speculation of whether Richard killed the princes is not historically provable, and his memory will have to have a historic readjustment. In any case, we all have to stop believing Shakespearean plays were historical fact.

LynLee - Good Evening to you, I hope your DBro gets the light rain he needs but that the rest of your country is able to dry out a bit.
Harriet - I totally agree with you summation of the debate regarding Richard III and the princes. Congrats on getting your healthy habits checked off.
I read my inspirational website before coming here and actually copied it to paste here as the message this morning is about Karma. It was very fulfilling to see that LynLee's quotes go right a long with the message.
My Daily inspirations come from this website.
I am up early because my first patient is about an hour away and I need to be there around 8:30... so I had better get a move on it.

Re: Love lifts us up on Tuesday
Harriet, one of the books I read recently was about the princes in the tower. Their supposed bodies were found buried under a stairwell in the tower a couple of centuries ago and there was quite a bit of circumstantial evidence that the bodies were theirs.
Another busy day going today with second dr appt for dmom. Also I should make an appearance at a funeral at the temple - dh things I should just go to the cemetery for the graveside if I can. I hate to take off most the day between the funeral and dr appt for dmom.
Dh and I both slept in a bit this morning - I took a benydryl at bedtime to help sleep. The mouthguard for the sleep apnea will be about a week more, Harmony. I already have a mouthguard for grinding the teeth, but the new one will eliminate the teeth touching at all. I don't know what to think but it would be nice not to be so tired.
Gotta get going, am running late already. For several weeks I've done a good job with a.m. routine, but not today.

good quote scattered. Hope your day goes smoothly. Lots of driving for you today.
I claim innocence in all Richard 111 affairs. Or my ignorance at least.
Interesting the dna testing - but wonder if anyone who's ancestors were from that area would have similar result.
I'm up late on computer - finished reading GI newsletter. Posted link in H&F.
Goodnight all

Re: Love lifts us up on Tuesday
I'm out of bed before 8:30 which is an improvement of late.
I'm on the treadmill. I've figured out that stepping down onto my left foot in a different manner than usual allows me to climb stairs without pain so I'm going to go back to knee-gentle exercise. No incline, lower speed but still a good workout today.
I have drawn up a schedule for myself today. Should have done an OMM list before writing it up because I keep thinking of things to add to it. But anything accomplished will be an improvement over the past few days.

Re: Love lifts us up on Tuesday
Good Morning!
It is sooooooo very wonderful to feel good and have some energy!
DH went for fasting blood work yesterday. Instead of the usual in/out in 15 minutes, it took almost 3 hours!
There were no parking places at the hospital so he had to park blocks away. When he arrived at the lab there was 29 people in front of him. WOW! In all the times that we have been to this same hospital lab there has NEVER been this type of wait. I've heard the flu/virus is affecting many people in our area and it seems the hospital popularity is proving that to be true. Today DH has appt with family doctor for quarterly CU to monitor his diabetes.
My mind is busy on coming up with best way to develop a garden planting calendar system. And a garden plan for rotation. And a garden plan for sprinkler system. If it concerns gardening, then i'm probably thinking about it.
SHE cards are back in full force business today. (they never really stopped, but they were given the minimum of effort for a couple of days).
Current Completed Card Count (CCCC) is 37

Re: Love lifts us up on Tuesday
Good morning! Same ol' same ol' here at this time. I'm drinking tea, I've said good by to the girls, I've let the dog out and the dog back in. The cat went out too but didn't want to come back in. Last I saw, she was sitting on the mat by the garage door. I suppose it won't be long before she changes her mind since temps are in the single digits right now. I've checked email, written a couple, and poked in here.
I didn't realize anyone actually read Shakespeare as historical fact. I don't necessarily even read today's newspapers/news magazines as historical fact.
My cynical nature is way over the top when it comes to sources. . .
We got a couple more inches snow yesterday and everything is white and very pretty right now!
I was productive last night, even though I didn't feel it at the time. After we fetched dd14 from synchro and got the kitchen cleaned up, I did finally fold and put away that 3rd lol, dry the 4th, make up my groc. list, order platter of sandwiches for the judges tomorrow, and take dd17 to B and N to buy more test prep books. She was using ds' old book, but he had done most of the exercises, so it wasn't very helpful. I'd say that was pretty productive after all!
My goals for today:
-groc. store; I'm trying 2 new recipes this week, so I'm excited. One is for Costa Rican rice and beans the other is for short ribs.
-gym
-New Years cards
-towel and bedding laundry
-other projects here on which I'm behind
-dd14's oboe lesson at 4:45
-take dd14 to synchro
-dinner date night! I'm going out with dd17.
-garbage and recycling to the curb
Off I go to work on the a.m. routine.

Helia - POTB for such a productive ending to your day!
My schedule today just became fuzzy. LO woke up with a bloody nose. Got that taken care of, but before we got his day clothes on he got sick to his stomach. He is cleaned up again and in a fresh set of PJ's. Hopefully a slow day at home will help him feel better.
