I love my card file and my bwp (except when I don't take advantage to use it - then everything goes haywire and I can't focus on anything... that was last week. I made it to appointments well as I had them listed but the house... wow

This week:
Focus: girls bathroom
pull a weekly from each room and do one each day at least.

Sunday: 27 dd younger volunteering 7:15 am to 1:30 pm
planning day: menu, cleaning, check calendar, money budget for week
dailies: am pm:

Monday: 28 dh vet for one kitty at 9:20, dinner with in-laws (bring something)
animal care day/laundry room care day/white laundry
weeklies: clean dog/laundry room floor, clean water cooler, take down any cobwebs or dust, clean the tops and sides of washer dryer, M: clean inside washer, clean finger prints (since this is now weekly it goes by faster)
SANDING BATHROOM GIRLS
ERRAND: go to library and check for meeting on wednesday
MATH

Tuesday 29 dd younger tae kwon do 6:00, me french group 6:00, ymca with dh in am, maybe church
weekly pulled: clean front of appliances, clean door in kitchen, vacuum stairs and basement
SANDING BATHROOM GIRLS

Wednesday: 30 lunch with daunt and dunce, 7:00 meeting with ddyounger at library
weekly: clean out car of your stuff, get cash, clean out one drawer

Thursday: 31 ymca with dh in am, 3:30 piano dd younger, 6:00 tae kwon do (dh has cleaning company come today.. yea! I think he is trying to tell me something at least all the floors and bathrooms will be clean. pick up dmil at 9:00 isn, clean her house,

Friday: 1 ymca with dh in am, dd older comes home for a dentist appointment, dd younger has guitar at 5 pm
Heavy laundry day: anything that is left

library call trig book , call huntington as the school dd goes to now is very behind in teaching math and she is redoing all she learned at other school
major cleaning in kitchen as I cooked yesterday.
missed that must be done: white laundry (can only be filled 1/2 way)

Wednesday: ash wednesday, dh doctor appointment, have money ready for dd's school donation
Thursday: dh gone at his d mom's dd piano 3:30, dd tae kwon do 6 pm (dd take school donation),
Friday: dd no school guitar 5 pm repair man coming for laundry machine
Saturday: far away volunteer work dd younger 5pm starts
Sunday:

plumber is coming next week instead

Oh, I'm just all mixed up. It seems like I cannot adhere to a firm BWP! Many times we/I have an appt. on a Tues. or Thurs., so I try to take my days off from writing on those days. But then once in awhile, someone will schedule us/me for a Mon. or Fri., which throws me off.

Then, DH is spontaneous, I'll get up one a.m., and he'll announce he's getting a haircut and running errands. I seem to have a sort of haphazard schedule, but I'm firmly in place when it comes to my writing job and the monthly deadlines. After my deadline's passed, I seem to rest more, take it easier, and work on the house more, the week after a deadline. Then I gear up for reading, studying, and writing again for 3 weeks.

I guess it's okay to live with a spontaneous man. It's made me more flexible. At least we're not running around like chickens with their heads cut off, things are relaxed at home, and running smoothly. I just can't have the "same" BWP each and every week. The important thing is keeping up on routines, hot spots, keeping those appt.'s and being flexible.

Oh, my, Ivy -- IKWYM! DH is very much organized and goes by routines, but HIS routines and mine do not always sync.
I don't know what we'll do when we're both home all the time all day every day.
It's hard for me to vacuum when he's home, b/c I always feel like I am disturbing him while he's listening to his radio programs.
Like you said, I'll wake up w/big plans to do some big cleaning project... he will want to go somewhere.
But -- we're happy, our home life is pretty relaxed & laidback, and I hope we'll survive another 34 years!

Ikwym d ivy and d lucy... I threw my basic week plan out the window and boy I floundered. I know I can't adhere strictly to anything but I need a plan of some sort to at least get one thing done.

so my plan of attack:

Saturday: put away and cook saturday
Sunday easter pick up girls and pick up coffee for Easter brunch (bring quiches), have dd sign those papers
Monday: dd has off - insist she have everything at the front door for school the next day - call vet April fools day, people to people stuff, pick up d mil
Tuesday tae kwon do and french *
Wednesday dd music (a good day for money and desk work and visit uncle)
Thursday piano tae kwon do (would have been grandpas bday), d mil
Friday guitar and pay for month
Saturday ?
Sunday ?

goals:
finish painting one side of wall and find pictures to hang in hallway
get ddads picture framed
sand area by bell and paint that wall
look at rug for stairs
increase my exercise a bit
family photo's find albums that match
call on our videos *
working on translating book from French to English for testing my brain.
