YEAH!! I can see the light at the end of LO sick spell! He has eaten crackers, slice of toast and a hot roll and they stayed where they are suppose to. His energy level returned about an hour ago. Just like THAT >>>insert snapping fingers icon<<<< he got up and announced he felt better. He then became busy getting into everything ...including bouncing a basketball in the house.....playing his drums. OH YEAH!! We are back to normal!

Hello Dear Ladies,

Another sunny day here and I'll try to get a walk in today too.

I walked yesterday and it was wonderful. I'm only walking 20 minutes as it has been awhile since I walked and you can get out of shape quickly.

Have made a large pot of something I have international lunch. Started with Italian sausage, sliced Polish Kabasa, a little chicken, then put in a package of Zatarain's Carribean Rice and black beans. The pineapple from the Zatarain's and the sausage flavor really make it taste yummy. I serve it on plates with a bed of lettuce to fill us up and give us more fiber.

I cleaned two bathrooms today. Used my Mr. Clean eraser on the sinks. It's a good tool to have.

Doing floors tomorrow. Am slowly get back to a routine. Seems like a constant battle. I get a routine and then something happens and I fall off the wagon.

To the shower for me.

Hi everyone! The email from chuck e Cheese was in my Inbox this morning. Despite the reservations timing out, I have a party. Tonight, I need to print out the invitations and get them to DD to take to school and daycare. Tonight is also: buy roof tar and order birthday cake. I also have to figure out how to install visual studio.

Feel like I'm completely out of the loop here. Life has been chaotic at best -that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

DH is fishing out on the Gulf so don't expect him until probably 5-7pm. Hope he's having a good day. He was really looking forward to it.

I've worked on our church council minutes and have them ready to send -all except I need a particular date. So waiting for that. Thinking of Twins, as I've been working on our income taxes. Not much to input any more, since there are no deductions since we sold our house. Can't even list all those medical and charitable deductions. Don't I wish! Hang in there, Twins -only about 10 weeks to go to tax day! I'm determined to get ours sent in much earlier this year. DH keeps asking me if we'll have a return this year -I HAVE NO IDEA! Keep reminding him he worked a whole lot less this year. I am rather confused by his disability amount. It says he collected $166 and I know it was more than that. Probably will have to call up there -don't want it to go in with a wrong number.

Here's a 'no-brainer'. Our car registration is due next month. We can keep the same number/same white plate OR we can order the gold (which I hate btw) for $25 more OR order the gold with the same number for $45 more. Guess which I'm doing!

Still coughing with this cold. DD went to urgent care Monday night with a sore throat and swollen glands with hers. She wanted to be sure it wasn't strep.

DD's trying to find a solution for gd for the week she'll be gone to Daytona for Speedweeks. She and her co-teacher are being sent by the school board and Clemson University to classes and have infield/garage passes all week.

Guess I better get back to the taxes.....

I'm typing from a new laptop keyboard! All the keys work. The service was really fast and since I had paid for on-site, I didn't even have to go into town.

I'm still really far behind on the day, though. And I'm getting hungry so will have some healthy snack.

x finished a.m. routine
x gym - only jogged for 25 minutes b/c I was feeling sick by then. I have really gone backward.
x PO box to mail bills and cards
x ATM - I may need cash to pay an entrance fee to the meet tonight
x worked on shoveling the driveway for about 30 minutes. There wasn't much snow on it but what there was was pretty wet and heavy b/c it is melting. I got about 3/4 of it done when the girls got home.
x chatted briefly with the girls and left 10 minutes after they arrived home to take dd14 back to school
x checked on chickens - 1 egg
x plugged in dd17's camera's battery to recharge
x ordered new recharger for my camera; we think dh accidentally decluttered it
x started load of towels to finish towels this week
x eaten an early dinner

Next:
-work on clearing my paperwork footsteps from the table
-work on pile by the phone for 10 minutes
-towels to dryer
-pick up platter of sandwiches
-go to meet

Dh will go to the meet after he's done at work, which will not be before 6:00. He said he'd pick up a sandwich for himself. I did offer to make him one. Dd17 is not going; she is going to a friend's house instead.

So glad to hear that Lo is feeling better!Dgd let out two hens when she first got here I'd rounded them up and they are contained again. Three eggs so far today one pullet egg. Dgd is feeling puny today so had to rethink outside stuff. So that part of the day is not as good as yesterday was.

We baked up the last of the cookie dough for her snack. H. was wanting some for his lunch too. I've not had any of that. I've been working on floors and have another room to check off that list! Yea for progress!

Lunch is over and I have a plan for dinner.

I am home snickering at DS14 who has attempted to put on 3 different pairs of my slacks trying to get ready for his interview. He finally found a pair of his DBro's and has thrown them and his shirt in Ernie to de-wrinkle. We have to leave in a few minutes.

The Ham got put back into the freezer rather than the fridge so now I will have to pick something up for dinner when I stop for gas.

My doctor's visit trip was a lesson for dd14 in driving in a city. My mother always used those opportunities to educate me in direction, landmarks, old/new sections and their names/history, and odd methods of intersecting, merging, etc., that might be constantly changing in a city. Dd was especially interested because their grade had had their lesson in "drunkenness" today, using the new goggles that simulate a blood alcohol level of .5, and drove golf carts through an obstacle course.

The check up was fine. This is the specialty doctor. My TSH was as expected so no change for thyroid. Doctor gave me a reading assignment (do I just LOOK like someone who reads about health and fitness?) He believes much disease and overweight can be traced to cellular inflammation and the hormonal effects of foods, and wants me to read up on Dr. Barry Sears' recent books. He says he and his wife are enjoying greater health and ease of staying slim since they started learning what Dr. Sears has researched.

Back home in dense traffic but dd was starving so when were to a more familiar area I got her a sandwich. Here we let the chickens out to run - clover is up.

Sadie's bathroom cleaning makes me remember:
In dr's office I read that two spots for high levels of bacteria are the handles of bathroom sinks and the door handle of refrigerators. Also, 90 percent of folding money tests positive for bacteria. TaDa.

Now I'm tearing my hair out! I noticed that dh's 401k shows a total 'disbursement' with no taxes withheld. Uh....what do I do with this? I'm sure it was rolled over to his IRA -we certainly didn't receive it. Hopefully when Twins checks in she has a short, easy, logical explanation for me. Before I go under for the 6th time! Actually I hardly understand any of our investment tax papers. Nowhere near the taxes we've had withheld in the past.

GD decided she didn't want to go to youth group tonight and dd wasn't going to fight it at this point. So we stayed home.

Hmmm, I thought DS-R & family would be in Jacksonville March 2nd on for a few days. But ddil told dd tonight that it's the following weekend. I'd looked up the WKA event in the fall for Jacksonville and I was sure that was the weekend they gave. Hope we don't have anything else going that weekend! Thinking about trying to get a hotel room for a night so dh can spend as much time there as possible.
