(((Okay))) I was wondering if you were sick. Feel better soon.

MT I am looking forward to your blog pictures. I have liked what you have posted so far.

Was suppose to go to dgs7 game this morning but I was having tummy issues. That has finally ended so I need to shower so that I can go watch the 2 little girls this afternoon.

I hope Dee is starting to feel better and that we hear from her soon.

I've exercised, s2s, tidied the bedroom, did tea and SAD light, ate breakfast, put away the dishes in the drainer and went through all the music for tomorrow except the anthem. We'll do that tonight. We also went through the song I want for the anthem next week. The tune is unfamiliar to dh and I and hard to play on the guitar so we abandoned the tune and switched to SLANE (Be thou my vision tune) which will be easier for them to learn. The choir can't read music so singing a different tune won't confuse them and learning an unfamiliar tune is hard because the music doesn't help them any. The lack of reading music has made finding an anthem hard since the obvious choice for that Sunday won't work if they don't know it down cold (even I have trouble with it after doing it twice) and it is hard to teach as well.

I still haven't picked an anthem for the following Sunday. Must do that by next Sunday.

I need to go grocery shopping and am thinking of heading out now since, in my experience, stores are less busy during lunch hour. Besides, I just finished breakfast an hour ago.

Hi everybody!

I worked until almost 3 yesterday but with all the people canceling their rides, I only had 1 wheelchair customer for the entire 9 hours that I was out.

Woke up this morning with a sore throat, coughing and feeling hot. Dh has made me gargle with salt water, given me vitamin C, currently making some Lipton's chicken noodle soup and I have been told that a dose of cough syrup is on the agenda after the soup.

I have already called in sick for Monday.

It is supposed to rain on Monday, so we haven't bothered to clear either car or the driveway. We don't need to be anywhere between now and Tuesday. The drift beside Mike's car is up to the bottom of the driver's side window.

((CathyS)) I hope you feel better soon!

Done:
x a.m. routine
x prepped more cards for mail
x made a sympathy card for a dfriend who lost his mother
x dd14 to synchro
x post office box
x lunch
x copied SS notes; started looking it over
x picked up dd14
x finished filling out moms group Valentine's Day Brunch sign up and emailed it out to the steering comm.

NOW, I'm ready to work on the lesson for real. Though, I do want to be outside b/c it is so beautiful out there; it is tempting to go shovel just to be outside and active. . . . but no, this lesson needs to be ready by tomorrow a.m. and so I will buckle down and prep it. I'm thankful for the many large windows in this house that let in light and the beautiful scenery when i can't be out in it.

(((HUGS))) to MT, Okay, Dee, Cathy, & Lilac - Hope all of you feel better soon and stay that way, at least for a while.

Helia - great tada list!

My hair is colored, although it is not as dark as I expected. I have 1 more box left and may check to see if I can pick-up a couple more since they are on close-out and only $3 a box. I will just have to remember to leave it on a little longer next time, unfortunately I am not exactly sure how long it was on today since I had a timer malfunction. :? I hadn't bought all the boxes on the shelf when I found them because it was not the same color I have used in the past. I usually use a Light Auburn but this was a Medium Auburn so I was somewhat reticent about it. I have had several total screw ups with my color so I am cautious when buying a different color or brand than my standby.

Well, this post has sat on my PC for almost an hour because the Deputy Director of my Navy department called me to chat about issues preparing for our tel-conference in the morning. She is really cool and great for my low self-esteem (she calls me a rock star). She has been having trouble opening my spreadsheets, come to find out she only has Office 97, I was able to send her to a site where she can get all of the Office 2010 products for $10. It is a special deal for military personnel. Unfortunately she also showed me that I have work to get done before bed tonight for the navy.

Now I am going to take some more meds, and lay down for an hour... hopefully I can finally kick this headache. I think I am going to change my L!$t to a weekend list.
