I worked only until 1:30 and took off for the day. I had my car washed - it's a pretty day here - and then home for a well deserved nap. I need to get busy now. There's so much that needs to be done it's hard to know where to start. I've made some iced coffee - hopefully that will give me a bit of a jump start.
This round:
-do pooper scooping in the yard
-start a lol
-clear the kitchen table of mail and stuff
-clear kitchen counters
-start a li&t for dh to go back to store.

Get Well Soon to both OKay and Cathy! I hope neither of you have symptoms that last long!
blessed, card file time card - so chic.
blessed, all best wishes to dd!
Glad Twins' Mom has been feeling some optimism.
Must take dd to an early supper get-together with friends. By Mon morning we must have decisions made on her registration card for sophomore year. She says she feels like she is making decisions that will affect her through college and she's only 14. Was surprised that counselor suggested putting foreign language off until Junior year and then marathoning it. But that way she would get to plug in some electives that would be good.
Dstepson came and visited a while. He is growing his beard back and it is at that perfect serious-professor stage.
If you don't believe in miracles, you're not being realistic.
Finished that round, bonus points for taking out the overflowing kitchen garbage. Lots of poopy to scoop outside. Ddogs watched.
This round:
-feed the starving ddogs
-refill meds for the week
-purge refrigerator
-pack up pajama pants/candy for ds, candy for dd for Valentines, for Monday mailing
-online do the return thing for Zappos to print label, pack up for mailing

Dh and I took the ddogs on for a walk while it was still light out - it's a beautiful day here. He's going back to the store now. I had done everything except for packing up the Zappos order. For extra credit I boiled eggs for the week.
So this round:
-get Zappos order packed up and ready to mail
-reboot laundry
-do stash and dash of my papers on DR table
-straighten MBR, hang clothes, etc.
-audition some other items on the mantel
I think dh may make us some omelets in a bit.

Twins - I sent you a PM & bonus points for scooping the poopy!
Harriet - good luck with the decisions on next year.
I took a nap kinda, didn't really sleep just kind of dozed, but I feel a little better. I need to get dinner in the oven, flip Bert & Ernie, and get started on homework. I think I will do 1 hr rounds on homework & Navy stuff, hopefully I won't have to me up to late.

I tried to print a web page and it only prints whingding characters. ONE LINE PER PAGE!!!
I have tried cancelling it via computer, via printer, unplugging printer and it keeps on printing -- ONE LINE PER PAGE!!
But on the good side - most of my decor is up, cookies baked for church tomorrow, dinner in the oven and my neck is better. Any time it starts to hurt, I put the ice pack on it.
Snow has all melted except what is on the mountain. We will see about church up the mountain tomorrow.

MT Your printer should have a cancel button. Perhaps holding it will work. But first, open the Devices & Printers on your computer and empty the queue. Shutting the software you are printing from might help too. It seems to me my pdf viewer is awfully 'helpful' when a print job gets interrupted.
Dinner is done. Dh and I went over the music once more. It is too rough for my liking but some things we can't settle until tomorrow, like how many times they go through their meditative pieces.
I've loaded the dishwasher, emptied the composter, emptied the recycle bin and brought the towels up from the dryer but still have to fold and put them away. At least they won't be forgotten any longer. Still need to program the washer so the sheets will be finished when I wake up and I can put them on the line.
It turned into a gorgeous, but cold day here. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer so I put off the sheets by a day since I didn't want to hang out sheets in below zero weather.
I need to go through my sermon a few times. When I read it last night, I was stumbling in places. Dh will be doing drum practice in a minute and I'll do my practicing then.
<TMI warning - totally skippable!!>
I am ready for this virus to go away and never return. This is ridiculous! Last night is a blur. The fitbit shows I was awake 30 timesduring the night. I just remember getting up 6 times to throw up (after the 1st two times it was dry heaves). Plus I remember getting up 3 times with diarrhea.. Plus I got up twice with LO when he was sick to his stomach. Poor DH was on his own - I didn't get up when he was sick.

Yesterday afternoon I picked up DGS15 from school and we celebrated his good transcript. He was quick to correct me when i called it a report card. I hope I didn't give him this virus germs I started getting sick after dropping him off and was driving home. Ditto on DParents. I stopped by their home to drop off some groceries for them. Now I'm holding my breathe that they don't get this stuff.
Over the past 8 hours I've managed to keep 24 oz of water down and 2 Popsicles. I'm moving up to crackers now. Look out world - I'm on my way back!
Running out of steam. Part of it is dh's mood, which appears to be not so good. I'm not reminding him that having people over for this production dinner tomorrow night was not my idea.
He is making omelets and I am going to get the brisket going afterward. Tomorrow I will make challah and brownies and continue with house cleaning/straightening, etc.
This sat for about an hour? Brisket is in the oven and going. Tomorrow dh will slice it and we just have to reheat for dinner.
