Hello Dear Ladies,

Goodness where is everyone?

DH got me 5 songs from i-tunes for my iphone for my valentine gift. I picked them out, he paid for them--works for me. 8-)

Go in just a bit later for work today. The story is WM is cutting hours at a lot of stores to help balance things. Our store is terrible busy so this doesn't seem fair to us but hopefully the cut back on hours won't last to long.

Dishes are done, floors done.

Yes Valentine's Day seems to be a bigger holiday than what it was in child hood. Store was packed last night with last minute shoppers. One mom said she was taking her kids to a Valentine Party last night.

Got to get a shower in. Will exercise a bit too.

Have a great day all!

Happy Valentines Day everyone! DD10 had strep and stayed with me at home today. She is back with XDH now. We started off with a vet trip for dFosterCat13, whose abdomen was doughy with swollen intestines, but no tumors could be felt. She is in temporary isolation, until she produces a sample. She is getting prednisone 2x per day, but it is in pill pockets, so she thinks it is a treat. She is also going to get a prescription diet made from rabbit. Unfortunately, this means that all the cats will be eating the diet. Not that there is a health problem, just a wallet problem. When we got back, we watched a lot of videos, while I crocheted and DD alternated between loom knitting and video games. I did not do any roof work, she didn't sound like she should be outside, and she is my spotter. I did get LOL, dishes, and dNeice's card done. I checked the tax form and all is well. DD liked the spy gear kit she got for Valentines Day.

I am trying to work on boxes each day during Lent along with the other FlyBabies. I found $300 in cash!!! Also some paperwork that belongs to XDH, pictures, and a whole lot of trash. The bedroom box is not completely empty yet, but it is down by at least a third.

As soon as I sign off, I am going to buy some yarn and some groceries. Then I have a mission team meeting at church. I'm not sure whether I will eat dinner before or after the meeting.

ETA: My Valentines Day present to myself was in the mail! I got the groceries and half the yarn I needed, but they were out of one of the colors. I will have to eat after the meeting, I drove all over town looking for the blue yarn!

♥ HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, EVENING, VILLAGERS! ♥

Elizabeth! It's great you got your Valentine's Day gift to yourself in the mail today! :D Finding $300 cash is super, too! Congratulations! :!:

It's so "quiet" here tonight! I read that Tweets have been deleted, on-line, too. I don't know if that's possible here, too, or not. :?:

Waving hello to Everyone! Have a great night!

TTFN! ;)

No time to cuop.

I'm alive. Wasn't feeling well this morning so after our morning meeting, dh brought me home and I holed up in the house with the phone off and did some daytime writing. It went more slowly than nighttime writing but I got a good start on the sermon.

Dh showed up a month early for a meeting today. So I think my day went better than his. Fortunately, it was the right month for the other meeting and the extra time was not wasted.

We don't celebrate Valentine's so just ate dinner in front of the tv and watched an episode of House of Cards.

I'm off to bed now.

BTW: I moved the Lenten thread. Again. This is not a new, nightly, Lenten routine for me, I promise! Left a slide from PWYC to Across the Cafe Table, the most logical place we could think of putting it since it is not a daily thread but will last a while, and threads in this forum are daily.

Bible study tonight was very nice, inspiring. I will sincerely try not to get so behind from now on...it was hard to get caught up.

Stopped at store on the way home because I was passing by. We were out of bar soap, of all things! Dropped off a stack of books at the library drop off box too.

Half the ladies weren't there tonight. When I asked why, they said Valentine's Day! Obviously most people celebrate more than we do. My card from DH was propped up against the fawcett. I didn't go near the kitchen sink except after 1:00 to refill the coffee pot!
