Good Morning, Villagers! :D

It's sunny here, I have a terrible cold, don't feel well, am tired, and I DO look forward to my day though! :!: :)

I was browsing organizing websites last night, about ideas for organizing my house, I went to CEO's site, too, and am happy I have her book, "House Works". :) Then, I saw a writer's site, she keeps a notebook organized with her writing in it, much like a home journal is for the home!

So I hunted and hunted for my book, "An Organized Writer is a Selling Writer." I walked so much back and forth to cabinets, baskets, closets, bookcases, shelves! I got a LOT of exercise, too! And my kitty was "helping" me find the book, too! Well, the reason I wasn't finding it was because it's about 1/4" thick! It was so small, I kept overlooking it, when I was right there.

To Do:
- Read "An Organized Writer is a Selling Writer".
- Take my divider tabs, re-write them to make them into monthly tabs.
- Take outlines, filled ones, ones with only titles, and some blank pages, and fill my notebook.
- Get everything, for writing stories, in one notebook. :D
- Read on my new Fibromyalgia book

House:
- Dust & dust mop (I have allergies OR a cold, but if it's allergies, it's because my house is dusty!)
- Do laundry
- Clean the main office

Extras:
- Pick out a dishcloth/hot pad set for a Dfriend's b-day
- Crochet on kitchen mats

Have a wonderful day, Everybody! Waving to you all! :D

TTFN! ;)

Back home now. We traded cars so I drove the van back. It has been ages since I've driven a non-hybrid car and had to think hard how to start it and put it in gear!

Played Pass the Pigs with the boys while waiting for drum lesson, then took the 5 & 10 year old boys to a big pile of snow cleared from the parking lot for them to play on while the 8 year old had the lesson. They are watching Chicken Run now and playing Lego. They've asked for hot chocolate later, we'll see if they remember.

Dh and their mom will be out until at least 4:45. Their dad is an area supervisor for a large chain of hardware stores. His territory covers almost all of Ontario on one side of the map (the province is so large that it has to be mapped on two sides of the page, and the Northern section is to a much smaller scale than the southern section.) So today he has a meeting in north of Toronto (at least 5 hours away) and then will come home. If the meeting goes quickly, he'll come here and pick up the boys but the odds are that their mom will be back before he is. If he is really delayed, I'm tempted to order in pizza and we all eat together, but I'm not sure because I still have to finish the service and practice for tomorrow.

Peeking in...

I'm taking a break after doing a small house blessing...the oven is cleaning its self and I have a few other odd things to do around here. Wanted to work in the yard...some of it will happen today, the rest will be left for tomorrow. That's just fine with me. Norma and Mr. Guy are coming over later. We plan to eat some pizza and then visit other friends at a car show close to home.

I didn't sleep well last night and neither did Sweetie. I think we kept each other up by worrying about each other. I drank my coffee, feed the doggies and then did a load of laundry. Got another one doing something in the laundry room...but I forgot what its doing. :D

The stump I dug up the other day is finally dried out, so its off the the garbage can it goes. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon it will have lots more stuff to keep it company....

It's been cloudy and cold 39* here today. But yesterday was nice and warm enough for a sweater. Ds had a half day at work and was on his way home when his motorcycle quit. Fortunately he had enough warning to get off I95 to a side street. We went with ddil to rescue him; she and dh stayed with the bike and I went with him to cycle shop for a new battery. He ended up going back to his office to leave the bike as the warning lights came on again.

This morning the whole family pitched in to clean house and do laundry. Ds/ddil had planned a bbq for today. Ds got the ribs marinating last night. He's got the wings cooked now for snacking. Ddil made salad and deviled eggs this morning before she went to work. They were planning for at least 15 extra people plus our family - ds says this is the first time they've entertained that many people in this house. Two families are just arrived now, so I brought the laptop into the living room where dh is watching ncis. Ddil will be home from work at 5:30 so ds will start the ribs, hamburgers and h-dogs at 5.

We're supposed to have snow sometime tonight and tomorrow. I see it's already snowing in N C. I'm glad we decided not to leave for home today as we'd be riding right into the storm.

Ivy, feel better wishes for you.
Kathryn, sounds like a fun time with your young charges.
Blessed, have a nice time today.
Helia, your small group always sounds like a nice get together.

Hello, friends!

It was a shopping day here--Dh's idea! We usually don't do well shopping together, but today was fun...we both lived to tell about it! Between K ohl's, W-mart, O llie's, and the grocery store we got some real bargains... and of course I now have K ohl's cash, so will have to go back next week.

We came home and made lunch at 2pm, so supper can be later than usual tonight.

Booksaver, your comment about your bathroom vanity reminded me that we will be replacing ours sooner than we thought. The front panel on one of them decided to fall off this week. It's the plain, flat piece right under where the sink fits. Scary thing is with our bathrooms, there is no good stopping place. Once we start fixing things, we may end up having to re-do everything.
