LynLee - Good Evening, I am glad you got a bit of sun today.

I had a wonderful dinner last night, it was great catching up. She is going to come over for dinner the middle of March will be wonderful. Then went to the grocery store and did rather well sticking to my list, I also picked up items to make more shampoo. I have had multiple comments about my hair this week and one gal at work said that she would love to try some and was talking about helping me sell it, I hadn't thought of that until she started going on and on.

Well, it appears that my whining about the speed and age of my work laptop to the Tech guy has paid off... they are switching it out with a new one.

Only have one patient today so I might actually be able to check in... but for now I need to get a move on it.

Good morning, villagers ~

Sewing group board meeting went well last night and they voted in the budget I'd spent so many hours putting together. I had expected that to hang over until next meeting, so I'm very glad not to have to spend any more time on it. That was the last of my big volunteer projects for awhile. Now it should be just normal volunteer hours for a month or so.

I'm looking forward to having several nice long blocks of time to focus on the house.

Lilac ~ That big storm is supposed to hit here sometime tomorrow afternoon.

BookSaver, it is snowing here and they have cancelled school. Thursday and Friday the kids are out for conferences. I don't know how this will affect the conferences. Our superintendent is always reluctant to cancel school, so I was rather surprised that he did. Every school district but one has cancelled. There is a school 17 miles west of here that is having a 2 hour delay start and no am kindergarten. With it being a rural school, I can't imagine that they won't change that. Xsil teaches there. Our superintendent is too stubborn to have 2 hour delay starts or early dismissals. I know it messes things up with the busses but sometimes you do have to be flexible. Especially when a 2 hour delay would salvage a day of school and everyone could get there safely by going later.

I encouraged dh to take the SUV today. It has 4 wheel drive. I told him I had no plans to leave and could take his work car if necessary as it has front wheel drive and gets around fine.

Dd2 just called. The C hamber of C ommerce is having their monthly breakfast this morning and it is at the clubhouse of her subdivision. With dgd16 home to watch the little ones, she went ahead and went. As she pulled up, she was surprised because there were lots of cars there. Her dh had called and told her that he had slid when he turned on the highway. He is moving cows today. That ought to be fun.

Dd2 was skeptical yesterday when I kept after her to buy groceries. So many times we are forecasted to have snow and it passes around us. This time the weathermen were saying that this is one of those storms that will hit the whole state in varying degrees. Our area is now forecasted to receive 11-14 inches. Dd2 said that she was able to find everything she wanted at the store last night but some things were dwindling. Yesterday the weatherman at noon said that he apologized to the D illons and W almart checkers because he knew the stores would be busy with everyone buying their toilet paper, bread, milk and eggs. When I was at the stores yesterday, it was just normal weekday business as usual but I know after 4 they were probably swamped because they are really busy then on a regular day.

Dd1 is supposed to leave Friday to go to a state school nurse event. I am hoping they cancel because it is just not worth taking a chance in my opinion. This isn't suppose to move out of our area until tomorrow night and she is suppose to go 200 miles east of here.

Guess I will go eat breakfast and do meds.

Kathryn - how did you know??? I thought of your prediction when LO got sick to his stomach during the middle of the night.

LO is staying home from school today. He is going to spend the day in his PJ's on the couch and/or in bed. I'm going to bore him back to health.

Every time LO routine gets tampered with then he gets sick. Every single time. Traveling is a guarantee that he will get sick. The weird things is he loves it and begs to go again. As he gets older, he is getting better. He used to get sick while we were traveling, but now it happens the day after we return home. i don't know how to help him get over this. I hope he will eventually outgrow it.

G'mornin' everyone!

I am humming along on my routines and cards to the point I know what I'm going to eat for snack in an hour and I have it ready to make. One bag each of trash and recyclables to the cans. Only the finishing of the laundry load is needed for a complete Morning Daily Card. All my healthy habits recording is current, even the ditsy stuff.

HRH will be back in today mid-day. My ddad had a large-ish breakfast and is now napping.

I have an appointment with the dentist tomorrow afternoon to have an old filling replaced. I'm hoping the big snow will hold off until after I'm back home from The Big City.

The only other place I had planned to go tomorrow was a quick stop for groceries. We're pretty well-stocked, though, so if it's snowing too bad when I'm done at the dentist, I can head straight home.

Not looking forward to shoveling again, but we really do need the moisture.
