I was confused too, thought MT might have taken a room in some sort of shelter...with a man in the next bed! So glad the news is positive so far.

In grade school (up to grade 8) I had 2 friends so 3 of us. Our times together were mostly back and forth walking to school, 4 trips including the lunchtime walk. Somehow in the last year or two 2 of us changed routes that were closer to our house, farther from the 3rd girl. I think that's where we fell out of friendship and the 3rd was not really a friend from then on. I've always thought 3 girls is a difficult number. (Harriet's DD) I hope it works out. After that happened to our 3 -friendship, the one left out managed to turn a few other girls against me. We were about 13 at the time.

Quiet day here. DH still in bed. He never stays in bed unless he's near dead. Anyway, the soup turned out deliciously. We had a wedding to attend tomorrow. I guess I'll be going alone, but will probably skip the reception after.

I hope Mr. Harmony can get up and move around enough to stave off stiffness.

So glad to hear from Emptynester and Mr. Emptynester's various good reports.

Hope LO gets over his tummy problems and feels good about school, OKay.

Thank you for the thoughts for dd14. She told me as I picked her up today that she is so happy this is over. She had her talk with the other girl and made it clear she's not hurting feelings to satisfy anyone. As we left, the girl would not wave to us, I noticed, but her boyfriend did. In my personal opinion, the addition of a boyfriend is what started the whole problem. He's a pleasant boy, nothing wrong with him, but of course they are "a couple" so those around them begin to feel like third wheels, and give them space. Naturally, other friendships grow stronger.

I napped, which is why I'm up at this hour. I just can't seem to get through a week without them. It is February and I'm still no good at the 5:30 alarm clock for school. Driving today I was just so sleepy, and that ain't good, so, nap time. By the time I'd awakened, HRH had already done the outside chores, so I must have been really zonked. Got myself together in time for my ddad's supper to seem perfectly normal to him, and the Evening Daily Card to be done well.

TaDas for the first day of the month - I scrubbed the sink and then ceremoniously tossed  the scrubber sponge and opened a new one for the new month. I had already switched over the utility wall calendar, plugging in dates, and only had to switch over the decorative one. I made out a new healthy habit card for the the next half-month.
