Some days I struggle to find quote to use - today they were bursting out all over.
I'm seeing that they quote someone as saying something, though I doubt some were the first to utter those words, or speak that sentiment. I remember the first person I heard give a speech mentioning we each have 24 hour to use - idea. It was a  moment for me.

LynLee - Good Evening, sleep well.

UGH! DS14 woke me up 30 minutes early to tell me that school has been cancelled, as I was laying there trying to go back to sleep thunder shook the house so bad I just gave up and got up. The news is going crazy because they figured out that screwed up when they downgraded the forecast. We have snow in the western area and thunderstorms in the eastern area and it is changing fast. Now they are saying 3-5 inches for the city up from 0-1 inches last night. This city shuts down when we get 1 inch of snow so 3-5 has everybody in a panic. Unfortunately they have not closed the offices yet so I need to pull myself together and get ready for work. Thankfully I only have one patient I have to see today.

Have a great day villagers.

Everyone remain safe in this latest snow storm heading east. Know ds-R, DGS8 and others headed out last night from Rochester, NY to jacksonville, FL -trying to get ahead of the stormy weather. Do know the weather put a crimp in any plans I might have had to go north. Even if I could get to a major airport tomorrow or Friday, it would have been a real hardship for anyone to come get me and take me down home. Then there was really no place to stay since all my close friends and relatives are down here. Things hit me this morning and i guess that's a good thing -as I awoke crying and i really needed to do that.

Now it's time to run and take gd to school. Early release day so have to pick her up at noon. her counselor is coming to the house this afternoon. Tomorrow she goes for her final interview at the Youth Ranch. We'll know next week what comes of that.

Good Morning!

LynLee - Thank you for the great start.

(((Dee)))

Scattered - stay safe!

I had a good start to the day and am feeling productive. Part of the Tiny Habit program I'm doing this week is recognizing small victories.. I am enjoying the feeling of success and find it a bit addictive! :D

Good morning! I should be working on my a.m. routine before getting here.

Stay safe in the storm, scattered. This one completely missed us. I hope it is not wet heavy snow like we had last week.
Yes, bursting with good quotes for today, Lynlee. More fluid intake sounds healthy.
((Dee))
I'm going to check that website, OK. 34 CCCC already! WTG!

We have sunshine and blue skies this morning! :) What a treat!

The meet last night was - a meet. All the girls did really well; the pool area was hot and humid. Dh and I went together but got there late due to various factors and missed dd14's trio, which was the 2nd event to go. :( Of course, we exchanged some terse words. . . . At one point, dh and I went out to sit in the cafeteria and get some work done. Otherwise, dh sat in the stands with a large stack of manila folders w/ papers to deal with and his laptop. He really can't be separated from his work. Dd14 told us afterward that 2 of the judges approached her school's coaches to tell them that the other 4 judges were biased against them in their judging; not sure exactly what that was about, maybe something about preferring certain styles over others, but it is true that the girls from our school were getting scored lower than expected. I just don't want to think about that kind of thing. The season is over, dd14 learned a lot and enjoyed her time on the team. Those are the happy thoughts!

Dd17 is off to school for more testing. Dd14 starts at 11:15. I sent out an email to my steering committee with the date for our next meeting.

Today:
-a.m. routine
-take dd14 to school
-quick groc. run for items I forgot
-get teaching notes and hand out finalized.
-run through intro and conclusion, the parts I likely will be speaking w/out discussion
-emails to small group and THursday crew
-maybe go for a walk/short jog outside, since temps are forecast to be close to 40.
-supper: pork chops in cream/wine sauce over rice, veggie - not sure which veggie yet.

Helia - POTB for finding the silver lining.

LO said Goodbye to me (at school) with no hesitation or tears today. His confidence is returning. :D

I am excited about learning Tiny Habits. i know this is probably **boring*** to those who do it without thought. I keep thinking of new habits that would make my life so much easier. So I started developing a list of tiny habits that I want to work on (it is strongly recommended to only work on 3 at a time). A tiny habit that I added to the list this morning was saying my memory verses while folding laundry. I just discovered those 2 things go together very well. I have started doing it, but unofficially until I finish the 3 habits I'm working on now. :)

I've done 2 mi. on the ex. bike after going up and down the stairs to the basement to feed the chicks. I've put away a box of toys that are too small to have out for a 9 mo. old and another basket of toys I removed from the table.

Journaling and morning prayers next up. Dgd will be here not sure if dgson will be here or not today.

I'm up and at it.

Knees are behaving this morning. Of course they are, I have my physio appointment in a few minutes.

I have vacuumed, well (not lick and promise) the main floor and watered the plants, unloaded the dishwasher and have done tidying as I worked.

Now to dry and style hair and then head out the door.
