good morning/good evening d Lynn.

thank you for beginning my morning with those lovely quotes.

I have to admit I have been struggling with my housework done and even touching any card files. The break up of my day has been interesting.
today: french at noon... a little group gets together
sand the stair walls and then wash
laundry oh my goodness it laughs and taunts me saying "you didn't get it done". I even had a nightmare where all my sheets went down the toilet because I hadn't washed them- now theres something wrong with that brain) It's bad when your house cleaning or lack of cleaning gets into your nightmares.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Good Morning Dear Ladies,

The village is quiet today.

It's a work day for me.

Have made some family phone calls this morning. Called one of my cousins to tell them of Aunt Betty's passing and we ended up chatting for awhile. She had lost my phone number and was glad I had called her again. Then called Dsister-in-law because she was texting me.

Doing a few morning things, then going to hop in the shower.

Have a wonderful day all!

Blessed: I'm really struggling too. I seldom look at my list of cards and never at the zone cards.

I'm up. I did 5 minutes on the bike and my physio exercises plus a few of my regular stretches and some crunches. S2s and made the bed.

I've eaten breakfast now and am ready to go back to bed. I'm just so tired these day. I did sleep even better last night than the night before but I'm not reaping the results of that.

Good morning all! Seems good to be home for once in the morning. Can't help but wonder what it will be like when i don't have to be up and out of here before 7:30 every morning. Only 1 more week (I think) that I have to do the school run. Spring break will be next week and then gd will be going to the Youth Ranch that following week.

DD just sent me the video that her TSA students (with the aid of her co-teacher) did for her birthday. DGKs up north also did a couple of videos for her and they were sent via same teacher. She said she bawled like a baby when they showed it to her. Just got a copy via email -so neat! No wonder she cried! :D They also got a really nice cake for her. Think she was pretty overwhelmed.

Have a "meet 'n greet" at church this afternoon for the pastoral candidate. Then he'll preach tomorrow and we'll vote on his calling afterwards. Need to get my hair washed and try to do something with it before that. It was cut on Wed. so hopefully I can make something of it now. Looked really cute after she did it. I can only hope. :?

Been doing my PODA for the day and for the month. Have a lot of things that I HAVE to do, that I keep forgetting. Think I have them in a form now that I can remember....... She says hopefully!
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

WHY???? are DH's so stubborn. I made a special trip to get him a walker as he can't put weight on his right hip. So this morning I found the walker by the back door and him in the den. He couldn't find his shaver - sitting on the washer in the hall - so isn't ready to go. So when I got it for him - he is limping, hanging on to furniture, etc. to get to the bathroom to shave. SHEESH!!

Now it will be my fault that we are late to breakfast.

Hope you all are having a better day than I. Thanks for letting me rant.

A bit of progress.

I looked at my cards and plugged in the electric toothbrush charger, cleaned the bathroom, dusted the bedroom and dried and styled my hair.

Then I moved all the cards I've missed since Wednesday (a lot but I have been making progress on some things so the house is definitely not a disaster) and will start in on a paperwork challenge: make up the grocery list and meal plan for the week. Dh is finally downstairs for breakfast (he got out of bed before 8.)

Why are all the leaves falling off my rubber plant?
I don't think I'm over-watering it... and it looks like it is putting out some new growth... but every few days I notice at least half a dozen healthy-looking, green leaves on the floor beside it... and it's beginning to look a little naked. :?

I've got to get in the shower & get ready to go to funeral visitation. I know there will be a HUGE crowd there, so I kinda dread it... but I really have to go, for dparents' sake, especially.

Then... probably a quiet afternoon. Maybe a movie tonight.

Hope y'all have a good day.
Tomorrow is another day.

Good afternoon! Unexpected snow here today, so we are having an inside workday. Dh is patching walls and I am scraping stickers off the ceiling in guest room. Previous owner's teen had put sun, moon and star stickers all over ceiling...which wouldn't be so hard to remove, but instead they painted over them! The result is a big mess requiring many hours on a ladder with a razor blade. Must get back to it...
