Twins, I'm glad your hearing is done and apparently turned out the way you wanted.

Sunny, oh, sorry DH fell; I'm glad he wasn't hurt.
Lilac, hope DH shingles go away quickly. Oh, if he takes L-lysine (health food) maybe they won't come back. I'd read about that once, and a dfriend found that to be true.

OKay, enjoy the rest of your staycation!

♫ ♫ ♫ HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMAPIANO! ♫ ♫ ♫ I see her on FB but she doesn't post much just shares mostly.

I am beginning to feel better, my eyes and face are less sore. I am still coughing a bit, but energy is starting to return. Yay!

Yesterday I spent a bunch of time getting my Bible studies caught up. So far I've just been doing office chores. Nice to have all that done. It is gray again here, we've had more rain.

I have amaryllis also all the way across our middle island around our 3 palm trees. Bright orange, probably the same as Sunny's since she gave us these bulbs that have spread and spread!

:D HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA PIANO! :D

May your birthday be wonderful and full of good things all day!

We had an awful wind and rain storm last night. In the wee a.m. hours, the rain poured so heavy, it woke us out of a sound sleep!

I wanted to say a thank you, to whomever it goes to, how I am so happy that I can adjust the font larger here to see the screen better with this antibiotic ointment in my eyes making me look out "foggy windows". It's wonderful to be able to see the words on the screen and I'm so thankful this feature is available here. So thanks, whoever is responsible. :D

Lilac, so sorry about the shingles! May they not last long! :!:

Sunny, I'm glad your DH is not hurt! :!:

Harmony, Glad you're better! :D

A huge thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes. And thank you also to the SHE who posted to me on Facebook. Can you believe I can't think of her handle here, because I have gotten so used to thinking of her by her real name? . The irony there is partly because what she and her dh are doing, lifestyle wise, is the same thing my dh and I did for several years. Age showing up, maybe.

My life these days is pretty much the same from week to week. Church on Sunday, and I play for the service. A "worship meditation" at the beginning of the service, and then play along on the hymns. We have both an acoustic and a digital piano. I play the digital. Thursdays there is a Bible Study. There rest of the week home except for doctor and other appointments. Not very intersting sounding, is it? But I "play" here on the computer and read a lot.

Have thought about y'all a lot and I don't know why I haven't checked in here. My bad is all I can say!

MamaP Glad you could pop in here today and see all your birthday greetings!

Done my phone call with dd. Dfs called looking for ds (they are roommates.) He wasn't sure ds had been home last night. Luckily, ds showed up on skype within minutes so I stopped worrying. (Ds was feeling exhausted when he left here yesterday and the driving was awful so I was a bit worried.)

Now to get my act together and start working on the Easter service. The minister was hoping I'd print it off tomorrow but I don't have any of the service written at this point, so that's not going to happen!

So glad to see Mama P stopping by the village!

I need to get ready for temple board meeting this evening - the last thing I want to do! I slept three hours and feel like I could sleep forever.

I'm back.

Went to the appt. Got squished. Not too bad, but not great.

Dropped off all the library books.

Paid V isa and M aster C ard and got some money out of the bank to spend.

Walked through a new T arget near the city I live in. I'll have to go back after they have been open a while to see what it's like when things settle down.

Other than that, off to figure out the weight/size limits for US and Europe suitcases and carry ons. Just in case.

Hi everyone! I have completed a document review and compiled a list of references. I also returned the insurance company's call, it was just a matter of setting message preferences. I have some emails I need to send out. I need to sort through my emails and delete some. I HAVE to tell you what I learned from DD11 yesterday.

At DD's school, they have been doing ballroom dancing. To my surprise, she has loved it, telling me all about what she has learned and how much fun it is. Until yesterday. Yesterday, she hated it. I asked her why she didn't like it any more. The reply: She makes us dance with BOYS ... AND she doesn't let us use HAND SANITIZER!

Elizabeth, That's just precious! Kids say the funniest things! :!: :)

CathyS, Sorry you got squished, but better safe than sorry. I go in Sept. sometime.

Sadie, Hope you're having a good work day today. :)

Twins, It sounds like you were so tired and really needed those three hours of sleep! I'm glad you got a good rest. :)

Kathryn, Good luck on getting the service written. Is there always a specific deadline? :?:

It's high winds here with on and off sunshine mixed with rain showers. Saw a huge hawk on my lawn chair, sitting, looking at a tiny bird in a bush in front of it. It was sort of like a "stare-down", but then the little birdie just SHOT off really FAST! :!: The hawk followed, but then I lost them in the trees! DH said he's sure the little birdie was faster than the hawk. Yesterday we saw a bunny and then, while I was at the kitchen corner sink in the morning, a large deer ran so fast out of our woods, across our back drain field and into the other woods next to us, to our neighbor's land! :!: I don't know what spooked the deer! It could be a limb had fallen or a coyote or anything, but last summer some neighbors came over to tell us they found cougar scat on our property line between their and our place. Now I'm afraid to go into the woods by myself. I'm chicken and don't want to come face-to-face with a cougar. :o We're enjoying the birds today and squirrels. The chipmunks haven't appeared yet, but soon they will. The birdies are starting to look like they're choosing mates to start building their nests, too. One bush has buds on it, we have 1 crocus, and it's as though Mother Nature "knows" today's the first day of Spring. I long for blossoms and pretty flowers. :D
