Mostly - I took a home day today. Slept until service was due to start.
Sheets are washed and back on the bed.
Skipped going to shut in friends home. napped an hour i/l.
walked dog 2.8k despite my complaining knees.
dishes are washed

I am up after a very restless noght. My shoulder just doesnt want to cooperate with my sleep. The cortisone shot has helped with my range of motion and the pain with that, but at night, it just wants to ache and have its way
. Hopefully it will calm down soon.
Dd's fiance was here all day yesterday and evening while she was at work and did a TOTAL deep clean and organizing of her rooms. What a HUGE job it was and he did it so nicely. Even did her bazillion loads of laundry. AND folded and put them away!! He's still working on that this morning, but I think he has to work this afternoon so will be leaving soon. DD came home at around midnight and has already left for work today. She was sooooo happy and smiley when she came in and saw what he had done. It was cute to watch her surprise.
Due to my lack of sleep last night, I have opted to skip church this morning. DH left a bit ago for it and after is going to get his mothers car to work on that here this afternoon. Then we have a wake to attend this evening for a dfriend who lost his 24yo daughter last week to the FLU! So shocking and sad.
After my breakfast and nap, I am going to clean up my bedroom and get mine and dh's laundry together to be carried downstairas by someone with 2 arms. Then I can call the upstairs 80% DONE!!!!! Finally!!!! While my laundry is in progress I am going to do paperwork, bills, budgeting, gatherng of tax info for filing.
Going to grab some breakfast and try to get a bit more sleep. *WAVING* and saying hello to all who follow!!

The pictures of my wood carvings are up on my blog. Neither project is completed but just need sanding and painting so I'll get that done eventually.
Bead week starts today. I will be able to pick up my kit for the classes at 1 today and then attend the classes I want a couple days this week. The beaders are a bit more strict with classes then the carvers. They are given on certain days at certain hours while the carvers just come and go as the spirit moves you. The beaders also have only so many to a class and when they reach that number the class is CLOSED. Carvers just pull in another chair.

Dh got me up earlier than I wanted, but it was so I could say goodbye to ds - dh and ds were leaving to get him back to GA Tech. DD spent the night with friends D&P and I'm not sure how she's getting back later as her car is here. I've read the paper and am enjoying my oatmeal - need to get dressed soon and walk the ddogs so they will stop shadowing my every step.
I'm feeling like there's a lot on my plate today already. I need to write for the temple bulletin and I need to finish up with gag gift for office. The guy whose name I got is hard to buy for as I don't know him that well. I'm going to use his rigged up stand up desk as he seems to expect to receive negative comments on it from managing partner. (Another staff person asked a couple of years ago to try one and was denied - this guy just set his up but otoh he has an office with a door.) So I have a round mirror so he can see who is coming, and was planning to get a cheap mat to stand on and paint or sharpie the words "Big brother is watching" onto it. If anyone has good easy ideas to build on this, let me know as it feels lame...
Going to get moving at least....
-meds/vitamins for me
-change clothes
-walk the ddogs
-regroup for the rest of the day

Hey Twins - I can't do taxes without the software - and I am trained as an accountant.

I've been doing a fair amount of vegging here myself. The house is quiet and it's wonderful. I'm going to try for a couple or three rounds of work and then will nap.
-check on ingredients for burgers and sweet pot fries for supper tonight
-straighten up great room
-clear kitchen table (lots and lots of unsorted mail)
-start a lol
-clear kitchen work counters only (not the high breakfast counter)
I'm having lunch, haven't finished this round but I am going to go ahead and nap while the house is quiet. I'll need a trip to the grocery and Dollar store later.

I too had sort of restless sleep, neighbors came home around two p. m. and had loud music playing. My sinus/ear were acting up as well. Skipping church today as well. I missed the service I usually watch on TV today too ~sigh~
Today I've done the chicken and chick chores. I made omlettes for our breakfast with everything but the kitchen sink in them. I tried to clean as I went. I also thawed out pumpkin for the chicks, and made popcorn for the hens w/out salt or butter burnt one batch but have a better idea now of how I can do this next time. Now trying to get that smell out of the house.
