Oh, yeah, Lilac, HRH has told me to keep dd14 OUT of tractor supply for a while or she will be bringing home chicklets or begging for bunnies!

The OKay family on my mind.

HRH wanted me to show "your ladies" this video of space-saving convertible furniture (like murphy beds and disappearing tables). He has no idea of price (probably high, although a selling point is fewer rooms needed saves money), just thought it was cool and might be something to think about, if anyone wishes a space could do double-duty without requiring much strength. I was also thinking dd should share the video in next year's Engineering class.

I've gotten 3/4 of my exercise done and am taking a break. Hair is put up damp in a scrunchie for sophisticated styling later. ( so much curling effort I put in! Ha )

Library books renewed online.

Moving so slowly today. I think I needed to give myself a "recover from socialization overload day." The gray chill outside is uninspiring, at best. . .

Done:
x a.m. routine
x returned call to cc company; our # had been used fraudulently on Sunday. I was very impressed that they caught it so early. One charge went through but they blocked a 2nd and put a freeze on our card. Awesome fraud detection dept. A pain for us to switch cards, but the "pain" could have been much worse.
x lunch
x 2 lols washed, one dried.
x called the city re: yellow-ish water coming out of our tap; a hydrant in our neighborhood was flushed today
x driend called and we coordinated a little over Easter dinner; she will bring a ham, which takes some of the pressure of the lamb roast.
x menu plan and groc. list made.

I'm off to the groc. store now. dfriend S will be here in an hour to go shopping. Where has the day gone?

Back from beading class. I will post a picture in the correct forum after while.

Right now I'm trying to get my eyes to focus again. This was very hard on the eyes and on the back/neck as I sat for about 4 hours.

Time to run to town for some groceries and to hit the cash station so I have $$ to pay the yard man on Wed or Thurs.

Off to take a picture.

That's great, BLESSED! Very unproductive day here. The spring snow is bringing me down.

I seem to be doing everything backwards today. So what else is new? Anyway I had hoped to gete here much earlier and it didn't happen.

Thinking about OKay and family today.

For dinner tonight we are going to dgs's house. He is quite the cook. But the occasion will be difficult. Tomorrow he leaves for a month of training before being deployed to Afghanistan for a year. How I hate to see him go. And you can imagine how his wife and kids feel - and his parents. Heaven only knows there are thousands of families in the same situation so I know we are not the only ones.

Harriet, I had a look at that furniture. VERY interesting. I didn't see anything I could use though, and of course there is no showroom anywhere near here. Even if it isn't altogether too pricey.
