Hello again!!!

My day is already going awry. Well just alittle bit anyhow. Decided to call the benefits office to see if I could accomplish the necessary issues on the phone instead. And....I did! YAY!!! One less trip.

I am going to get dressed to go run my other errands. Talked to scattered.....she isnt having a good day. Getting herself all flustered. I told her to breathe, that the world isnt coming to an end, lol.

The weather here is STILL gloomy. I am so wanting some sunshine and warmer temps. I dont need HOT, just, ya know, maybe 55-60 degrees would be nice.

I hope everyone has success with their busy day. BB when I get home with my house list. *WAVING****

I've been out to the chicken coop, chicks and hens have been fed and watered now. We've had rain in the night that was needed.

I made great progress on the back yard yesterday and have apx. 1/3 of the other grass dug out that needs to go. I've been having the grandkids help dig. The hens love getting the bugs and worms too.

I have a letter nearly ready to go to my mom and sis.

We went to dd's for h's bday pie had dinner here b/c it was what we knew I could eat and one of h's fav. deli chicken planned left overs! I did not have the ice cream pie. Easter plans made bday dinner plans w/ dson made spring break next week it's a busy time around here in case you miss me.

Granny duty in a bit today with baby and dgd and tomorrow as well. Next week too soon to tell what if any schedule there will be!

Good Morning Dear Ladies,

We've got sunshine here! Already heading for the 60's. 8-)

However the variety is weather -rain, wind, cold, warm, has made my bones hurt. I do feel a bit better today. But am determined to not over do it and get hurting again.

Been making decisions and delegating, like anyone could sweep the floor but I am better at figuring the budget, paying bills and finishing taxes so been doing more desk work than housework for right now.

And anybody or somebody could do the sweeping, but they can't be found right now, and nobody is here to do the sweeping.

Have repeatedly told DH and DSons to rinse off dishes as I've seen a few ants now if they leave even a crumb of food on plates in the sink. Ant season is here!

Have lunch started on the stove. Looks like DH is working at home today.

Dbrother has a cold too, but he is better today.

Off to the adventures!

Great day to all!

Just ci:
Good gracious, I haven't been thinking through ANYTHING lately!!!
No major changes in any situation re: our sick folks... just being lazy on my week off.
Seems like I have several errands to run every day... and then I just get lazy.
On the plus side -- dh says I don't look so frazzled & tired anymore, that the rest is doing me good. LOL.
Tomorrow is another day.

Sadie, ant season is here, too. At least on days when it is at least 50 degrees. Need to figure out where they are coming from...almost afraid to check ceiling tiles in the basement. It's a long story, but I think we may find the source there!

My troubles with L owe's are resolved. I must say they have nice people working for them.

I'm going to take a cyber break for a while. If I don't tell anyone, it may not stick...so I'm telling you all! :) I've enjoyed working and playing along with you for all these months. Good wishes to all!

Oh, Ellyphant, I hope you come by and say Hi once in a while.

Not much doing around here. Got caught up on my Bible Study for tonight and that took quite a while since I let the days' studies pile up undone.

Going to get into shower now, then clean up around here and pre-make dinner for tonight. DH is out on an island working today, I'm hoping it's not too cold out there and the work isn't too hard.

Nancy, did we miss saying Happy Birthday to your DH?

CI-
** Duds = 4 loads to do. 2 have been put away. 1 is in the dryer. Last load is in the washer
** Dinner - going to extremely simple with little prep needed - fish sticks, mashed potato (from a box), green beans, Lemon cake
** Dishes - caught up.
** Desk - horrible shape. I did pull the stacks of daily gross (8 days worth!) out of the mountain of papers. Some of the papers were in round containers so I'm letting them relax flat so it is easier to process

I wrote the above about 4 hours ago. I guess i got sidetracked before hitting submit.

Adding another CI:
** Two long phone calls from DMom
** Lunch served
** 6 of the 8 MPB stacks processed
** signed up for a Rain Water Harvesting workshop and won a 200 gallon collection system for being one of the first 20 people to sign up. :)

hi sadie

hi lucy

hi dnancy. you have very lucky chickens... I hope they know it!

hi it never ends have fun with your errands

hi scattered... sending you a better day.

Hi all.
the paint I purchased is not the right color for the family room = I may have to go to home depot and get the paint there instead of my local paint shop. painted all the stairs with primer (wood on top left alone but the white on the risers. I have to hire someone to paint the high part of the stairs. Not sure if someone will come with only that area.

cooking my veggies for tonight. also got rhubarb and am making it without all that sugar, adding apples for sweetness.. keeping fingers crossed.
