Now that virtually every career is an option for ambitious girls, it can no longer be considered regressive or reactionary to reintroduce discussion of marriage and motherhood to primary education. Good Morning!

LynLee - thank you for the start today. BWTG on your triumphs!

My hip pad for today is full and notes jotted down on the back side already. There is no way I can accomplish all that is on it today, but that doesn't stop me from giving it my best effort.

Last night I finally slept hard. I've been running on adrenaline for the past 10 days or so and my sleep has been lacking. I did get up with LO three times during the night. Poor fella - he has such bad allergies. Although LO had been given OTC meds to help with allergies, he still choked up & coughed so much during his sleep that he got sick to his stomach. I'm going to strip everything in the bedroom today and wash it to make sure there isn't a trigger that is setting off his allergies at night.

Alrighty! the 3 D's are back in MM (maintenance mode) so today efforts can be directed to other areas. Next up is finishing AM cards and getting LO to school.

I am heading to work - ddogs are walked - I'm laughing at my poor Macs, who when coming in from his walk immediately wanted to go on the back patio couch for a rest. He'll have to come in for the day, tho. Today the teen from the neighborhood will come in and feed them and play with them a bit in the late afternoon.

Tummy is about the same.

Did take care of a few small things here at home yesterday - packed up an internet return to go back, did some paper purging and got the printer/scanner going again.

Good morning!

I'm up but not s2s and haven't done any exercises. Tomorrow is my next physio appointment and it might be my last since I feel like I'm in a holding pattern, not making any progress. Stairs are easier so that part is better and I love being able to touch my toes but my knees are still triggered by load bearing exercise or just every day active living and then I find myself limping. Physio 2x per day keeps this at bay but doesn't heal the issue. At $50 per visit, I don't want this to drag on and on if I know enough now to manage the situation.

Did tie my shoe yesterday without putting my foot up on something, sitting down or squatting. Just bent over from the waist and tied it, something I don't ever recall doing before. Ds watched me and when I pointed out what I had done he said he didn't think he had ever seen me tie a shoe that way either.

I've made the bed, watered the plants and switched over the calendars.

I'm upset because we got snow last night and I didn't realize how much I didn't want snow anymore until I saw it this morning. I'm very much ready for spring. I just realized it is snowing again so I suspect spring is another few weeks away. At least we had a nice morning for the sunrise service.

Lilac If your government is like ours, you're return will be corrected by them. They do a quick check with the receipts filed by corporations (to make sure everyone is claiming all the money that corporations claimed to have paid out) and they should see you claimed the same interest twice and note that who ever paid you the interest only issued one receipt. But if that doesn't happen automatically, then you can file an amended return. On the plus side, this means more money back not that you have to pay more money so there won't be penalties.

Good Morning the sun rise is glorious here today. 8-) Lots of spring bloom in our yard this week. Time to start think about mowing and other yard & patio work around here. H. has plant repair to do at work this weekend so it will be up to me if anything is done.

Lots of theft going on in our neighborhood the next door was attempted break in but they did not get in, and one street over a house they have been working on to remodel had a brand new A/C stolen, and dgds preschool teacher had some thing taken that lives not far less than 1/2 mi. a co. sheriff cop guy live at the end of our street 4 houses down too. ~sigh~ glad we have not had any thing missing too much stuff used for chickens run way in front of the shop like an obstacle course even though it was unlocked not a way to get to it in the dark w/out tripping over stuff and making a racket! LOL! Plus the neighbors 4 dogs might have been a deterant as well.

Today I'm going to load up the neighbors trash with stuff from their yard that's in the back as she said they are still getting trash service. That will be good for 20 min. of exercise this morning. I like the cans with wheels on them yea for that!

Good Morning!

Lynn...Thank you for the wonderful start to the morning. Good luck with improving your curfew.

Nancy...I am definately jealous of your spring weather. I cant wait for ours. This has been a waaay too long winter.

OK...Enjoy your day! WTG on getting some good sleep! That makes a huge differnce for me.

Kathryn...Im right there with you on the snow this morning. BIG BUMMER. I am sooooooo ready for some spring temps and green grass.

Twins...Enjoy your day too and I hope your tummy gets to feeling back to normal soon.

I m up and moving. Moving alowly, but moving nonetheless. I am embarking on a laundry marathon. I cant even count how many loads at this point. I am just going to dive in and start. I havent done any real laundry at all since I hurt my shoulder three weeks ago, so there is no doubt a build up. I can only do what I can do tho. Noone has left this house in dirty clothes or naked yet. It will get done sooner or later.
While the laundry is going I am going to work on my daily's and tidying up the downstairs. That shouldnt take too long. Then I am moving upstairs to the dreaded office. THAT room will take a day or two. I am determined tho to get it done once and for all. It will be a HUGE relief and morale booster when I do.

First up is s2s, and some breakfast. Then I dive into the laudry. If for some reason, I dont return, please send in the rescue squad as I am a bit afraid all that laundry may swallow me.

BB Soon enough!!!!

Another beautiful day here. The bunnies are chasing the quail out of my yard. They are both after the green grass that has been coming up. Got to get the hoe out. Our yard is all sand and rock so we hoe or spray the green that comes up. Don't want to spray while the fauna are still so hungry for green.

I'm still itchy from the trip to the dump yesterday. Cactus dust is tenacious. I've gotten some pulled but the rest has to just wear away.

We pulled the MH as far forward as we can and backed the trailer in behind it. Now our cactus guy can fill it again on Thursday.

DH has a Dr. followup appointment at 10:30 and then we will get some groceries after that. Need veggies so I can make pizza for dinner. I have some ground turkey that I made into sausage that will taste good.

I'm going to go read a bit until DH gets up. Our friend, Nick Russell, has just uploaded his 4th book in the Big Lake Series. Mystery set in the Show Low area of AZ. It is on Kindle for only $2.99 if anyone is interested. I would read them in order, however, starting with Big Lake and then go on. This last one is Big Lake Blizzard but I haven't started it yet.

Speaking of books - Helia, I just finished one (Windmills and War by Diane Moody) that is about The Netherlands during WWII. The highlight is about Operation Manna or Operation Chowhound where the American and British bombers dropped food just before the end of the war as the Germans had cut off all supplies of food to the Dutch.

Good morning! Sunshine and blue skies here! Not that warm though, just freezing. Sorry Kathry and Itneverends for the snow. That IS a big bummer. We're still within the snow possibility here time-wise, but I don't think it will happen. . .. . Crossing my fingers. . Our crocuses and snowdrops are up and the daffodils are pushing up too.

Love the image of bunnies chasing quails, MT. That book sounds very interesting! I'd like to ask my dfil about those operations, if he remembers them.

I have just spent about 1.5 hours on this machine:
- writing and responding to emails re: organizing (1) small group camping trip (2) small group meeting this weekend (3) Th. dinner crew (4) play date in the gym this Thursday for the moms group - no regular meeting due to holiday for school kids.
- doing some research re: camping options near the Natl. Seashore Park where our small group wants to go. The complicating factor is that there are no sites available when we want to go, but the park does have 2 campgrounds with first come first serve policies. We can try for those. The small group members are in favor of that but dfriend the encourager who just visited here from NY is not comfortable with that, and she proposed some alternate destinations, State Parks on the other side of the state. Of course, she is not technically a part of our small group anymore, but she got invited to join us on the camping trip, possibly by me. She and her family used to be a part of the group when they lived here. SO, I'm now looking at back up options since it looks like our group is willing to try the first come first serve campsites. There is risk involved in that, obviously.

Well, dfriend just called to chat about this. Long story short, she doesn't want our small group to make its decisions around her. . . . . I think our small group needs to have a conversation about what our priorities are. I need a break from thinking about this, though. People are so complicated. This dfriend is particularly complicated. Magnificently wonderful but complicated. :)

Off to do something that doesn't involve my computer.

Oh yeah, what I should do today:
-a.m. routine
-laundry
-groc. store
-exercise
-dd14 to oboe lesson
-put tax papers in the mail, express mail dh said
-pick up dd17 and dfriend from Crisis Preg. Center where they're volunteering this afternoon
-supper: Leftover lamb, baked potatoes, some veggie.

Progress -
** all regular laundry caught up and put away. Washing from bedroom in progress (sheets, curtains, comfortor, etc)
** Breakfast made (fresh juice), lunch salads prep'd and beans/chili for supper in progress
** Dishes - a few breakfast dishes are soaking and after washing them everything should be done. I've already washed/polished the counters & stove so it is looking good.
** Three phone calls received from DMom
** LO to school along with leftover easter grass, a sack of 16 oz empty bottles (both teacher requested), library book and a ziploc with his extra clothing (replacing heavy winter clothes with light weight spring type clothes).

Next up -
** Pay april estimated taxes
** pay april water bill (DH read the meter for me before he left)
** process MPB daily gross sacks.
