I asked my self what I did this week:
I fell into my hobby which is cooking instead of working on what was needED. I am not mad at myself but I can see I fell into playing instead of working. (I am just surprised I didn't see it happening and I was having so much fun. The problem is they both felt like I was getting things done. I left painting behind, laundry behind and many dailies. (MY SINK IS CLEAN THOUGH :D )

so today I pulled my round robin card
Put away Saturday it is
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I'm up and ready to work out, just waiting for the bike to free-up.

Didn't sleep well. The fitbit tells me I had 95% sleep efficiency but what I remember was waking up 15 times through the night. Oh, and taking twice as long to fall asleep last night as the night before. Love the data!

Goal for today is to finish yesterday's goal of getting the church minute books in order and prepping for all the meetings this week (turns out I have three.)

Just stopped by to say hello.

My Dbro will be here in a bit and the MH (his guest room) needs to be prepared. I need to air it out, make bed, clean off counters and find the coffee pot. DH needs to connect the cable TV.

Still stiff and sore from working outside yesterday - some neat pictures will be on the blog tomorrow.

Today will be busy:
- driving dd14 around to and from synchro practice 11:30 - 1:30 and to Univ. synchro team's show at 3:30. She has a ride home, thank goodness.
- quick groc. store run
- jog, if I can fit it in
- prep to lead small group study tonight
- ds might stop by
- dh and I really need to have a conversation about next weekend; are we going down to my hometown or not? Dfriends from calif. will be there visiting and of course we would get together with my family there too. . . .If we're going, plans need to be made.
- small group 5 - 9-ish

Dh is prepping for a talk he's giving to an international group at a church tonight.

Off to make progress on the a.m. routine.

I think Kathryn came in with a positive post yesterday and then I clobbered it with a downer one. Sorry about that! Today is tomorrow, which is another day.

Thank you, blessed, for being a blessing this morning.

Lynlee, before I forget yet again, our newspapers here have much news about the Zahra Baker Playground (sorta near me), which was built in memory of the little girl, who used to live sorta near you, but died from child abuse after moving here. There were fifteen hundred pinwheels, each representing a contribution, stuck into the ground at the park on National Child Abuse Prevention Month observance there, which of course made for great photos. Of course, the problem with pinwheels is that the wind changes, lol, so many photos taken were of adults trying to turn the pinwheels into the wind. Here's a video done by the regional news folks. Wish it showed all the rest of the park, which I understand is full of colorful equipment - really quite a distance from me, though, I haven't seen it. Very hard for people here to forget Zahra, especially since there was such heartache finding out just bits and pieces over the long haul of the investigation, and they don't know what to do to show it, since her remaining family is on another continent. So for some reason I feel obligated to tell my Australian friend about all the memorial goings-on, even though you live far from her birthplace of Wagga Wagga.

I like the Round Robin day idea. That is probably what I need.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday dgd helped me put the four newest baby chicks in a bird cage they will out grow that shortly. I've been out to the coop & run fed the hens and the pullets got pumpkin crumble and scratch, errands to do today gotta get some chicken feed.

We've had rain in the night, mower needs to be up and running for this season h. did not have to work today after all so that is great news. Cool wet weather is what we are having this weekend, it will be great for digging out sod however.

Blessed I need to get to the sinks here as well.
Harriet I hope you get some down time soon.

I've done one round of chores outside in the rain quickly glad to be back inside and drying off now.

Honestly, I could understand the language French better than I could understand the language Cooking, blessed. But I recognize the charm of the dishware, the good photography, the clarity of the directions, and I do speak Creativity well, so I love it. Sometimes, I will go back to it, and, turning my head sideways like the RCA puppy, try to comprehend.

Today my family has dined on veggie burger sandwiches and frozen-food spring rolls. They were really very grateful.

Desk Day for our household was accomplished.

HRH is underfoot and tugging me along to cinema he discovers on tv. "You've GOT to see this." Dd14 is delighting in the freedom this provides her. She was denied the opportunity to go with a few classmates to an amusement park because we do not know them or the adult that was to drive them there. She understands and I don't think she really expected anything different. Not many more years of protecting her this way, I know.

I'm going to grab the reins again and try to get a handle on this Saturday.

Enjoy visiting with your dbro, Emptynester.

Glad to hear the baby chicks are sprouting up, Nancy.
