I know -there's no such word as "wunnerful" but am feeling whimsical today. (at least so far)
I only have 8 trips left for school run. Last couple of days have been HARD. But little by little we're getting there. GD informed dd last night that "it's only a school unless you've been lying to me". Actually GD has been in on every conversation with the case worker -but she chooses to turn off the listening. She will go to school, have counseling, (and dd told her that last night), there will be chores, and lots of influence. There will be horses, she'll have her own bike, has to go to church, Youth for Christ is quite involved, she's in a cottage with several other girls. Lots of things will change for her (she says don't expect me to be changed because I won't). Little does she know that if things DON'T change, she won't be coming home. DD is more than 'done".
DD just called and her co-teacher is taking GD Friday night and Saturday. DD broke down and gd is getting her hair straightened tomorrow -BUT she is giving dd all her gift cards to offset the expense.
Have to go look for some fast food coupons. DD also consented to picking up gd's friend to take her to youth group at church tonight. Going to take them for quick dinner first. Have a good ones -see you all later.

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Good Morning!
(((Dee)))) Hang in there!
It is most definitely a Wunnerful day here. We have hail, rain, thunder and lightning. YES!!! Although the rain is coming with some pain (electrical linemen are working in the storm to restore power to many) we are celebrating the moisture and hope it keeps coming to end this drought!
Today only has one appt. LO has an appt with his counselor this morning. I could take him to school for 30 minutes before picking him back up, but it doesn't seem worth it. So, he will be sleeping a extra hour this morning.
38 = Completed card count

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
I am back at home after dropping Macs off for more fluids today and the introduction of small amounts of food. I need to take Moe out for a walk before I head to work.
Six days for me, but who's counting, LOL. Dfriend/partner is driving me totally crazy. I know I'm not the only one but she just doesn't let up. Obviously, her clients are far more important than anyone else's. I can barely finish one thing before she's back for something else.

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Hello, wunnerful people.
Cowinkie, how are you feeling today?
Hoping and praying for all the best for dgd, Dee. That's nice that dd will take her to dinner with a friend.
No, OKay, I wouldn't take LO to school for 1/2 hour through the hail, either. When we were in drought, we would have welcomed the hail, yes, so I hope you do get some drought relief, however strangely it may fall.
Sunny, I don't know if we will be able to get to the Highland Games this year. Dd33 and dsonil are so overwhelmed now that he's a soccer coach, they can't just come here when they'd like. I know dd14 will be disappointed if we don't go. I hope you all have a successful one. I know you enjoyed the massed band.
My ddad is sitting with his breakfast now. School run went well.
Next ups -
start laundry
outdoor chores
I need to find the address for dear uncle's rehab place. I don't know that I can manage to drive there but I can consider it.

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Hi everybody!
Dh and I are home. All of the cases are unpacked. Everything that isn't dirty has been put away. (Dh did that while I was sleeping last night. I went to bed at 6 p.m.)
Today I get to do laundry.

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Joining in with the ranks of you doing laundry today. I have the last load of laundry in the washer. One load of laundry is ready to fold from last night.
This morning I've done chicken chores inside and out.
Floors & other inside stuff is next up mostly because we have wind & rain in our forecast to I tried to do a few things outside this morning before it starts 42*-67* is today's temp. range.
I have a book I'm hoping to read today is my day off from granny duty except after school dgson will be walking here. First day the weather has been not so good in the forecast.

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Yes, today is WUNNERFUL!!!! Because yesterday was a 'jamma day. I didn't get dressed at all. I napped in the morning, mid-day and afternoon and then I went to bed at the regular time and slept the whole night. Do you think I might have been tired??
I'm also fighting an infection and on meds that make me sleepy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I did wash dishes twice and made a yummy dinner of fish and steamed spinach. My sink was shiny when I got up this morning.
I will be jumping in the shower in a few minutes and get moving with a regular day - but yesterday was nice!!

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Today is wunnerful because. . . . . .because I have some things to do but not an overwhelming amount!
TaDas!
x a.m. routine is done, except for laundry. I was waiting for dh to finish s2sing before I did that. He went for a run first thing this morning.
x I have done a cursory review of some of my cards and have some out for today in an effort to get back in the box.
x I've washed up the eggs that were waiting to be washed.
x I've checked emails and responded to a couple.
x groc. list made
Next:
-start lol
-lunch
-errands: library, groc. store, maybe bank

Re: WUNNERFUL, WUNNERFUL WEDNESDAY
Good Morning all! Twins, I am rooting for dear dog Max. Our pets mean everything to us.
Mr. Guy and I both read Cowinkie's report on the rafting trip. I think a little more than scarey. We will talk with her soon.
Yesterday we both had our doctor's appointments and learned of this new Medicare exam we have to do every year now. He also has a whole new computer system so it was a little out of the ordinary. Mr. Guy has been ill since we got home on the 1st and now we know - he has pneumonia. Doc also put both of us on Metformin.
Well, we've been warned and didn't pay attention. Things are changing around here.
This all puts off our trip to see new ggrandson for awhile. This doesn't make us happy but we will endure.
Hugs to all. Have a great hump day.
