Waving from a rain at times again thursday.

Funeral on Wednesday. Realize now the guy was a genius /inventer of new tech thing in his early days. As a kid built a plane on shaped bits packing case with the addition of a small motor. . Always a lovely guy. very troubled though. Addictions he hadn't been able to shake. I had not known the bipolar dx. Peace dear man. Peace for your family and loved ones too.

Shortest of walks yesterday.
Dog is now groomed, and cooperated with his paws without sedation. Hair cut not too bad. Great news for dog - no sedation. I couldn't find his knitted jumper last night so I fashioned him a quick nightie out of a half of my old flannellette winter pj bottoms. chop off leg length. add front leg holes for him. tied up some extra fullness at back of his shoulders. trimmed the corners of the coat as he sat so it doesn't drag too much.
He woke me thru the night to go out so I hope that is not a new normal. coat off and on so it did not get wet on the grass.

Remembered time for grooming and cuddles last night. I'm making that a new tiny habit - I used always brush him as part of my evening.
Mostly thats what my tiny habit attempted chains are - old habits I want back.
The one for supplements - probiotics, Ca+++, antihistemine didn't take. I need do that again. I really had made a difference to my receding gums when I was taking them.

Met new locum pdoc today. I think he will do. We covered heaps of stuff, and my reaction to funeral too.

Cowinkle - seriously -Yikes... I am so glad you are back safe. Its a good reminder to always know a lifejacket that fits is essential, and that providing it ourselves might need to be an option to check. I can't imagine doing what you had to do to survive.
I did go level 1 rafting in Tasmania with ranger (girl)guide leaders one time. Good - but enough excitement for me. we needed thermals under provided wet suits and lifejackets - and I had taken banlon longjohns which everyone laughed at. Especially as I had put my swim suit over the top of that, and pulled up the long wool socks over the top. and knitted beanie. In all it was quite an ensemble - people took photos as it was colour coordinated. *blush* Thats when I found out what others called thermals away from the subtropics.

I need to run. Mental health support group, and I want new library books too. Lunch is next.
Just begin.

Cathy, I hope you had a great time traveling. Sounds like you've gotten back to normal home life quickly. Good job on laundry.

Lynlee, yes, good news for ddog, not needing anything to get through the appt. Didn't know you put ddog into clothes, but sounds creative.

Sorry the webinar was not what you expected, Kathryn.

((OKay)) waiting for phone call.

lol Harriet - My dog used to 2" or more of fur, reduced to what is more like a shave, and autumn nights have me happily under a wool and cotton blanket as well as quilt cover and top sheet and long pjs, I figure it may be a little chilly for dog.
I put a reminder on the calendar for august. hoping this hair cut will last him until then when it will start to get warmer.
Just begin.
