Several phone call, emails, and some work related emails later, I'm back.

Happy Birthday to Cowinkie! Hope it's wonderful in all ways!

Today I need to actually accomplish something other than talking on the phone and emailing. I think it's probably a done deal that I won't quit as temple president - so much support from most and as dh keeps reminding me, it really isn't about me, it's mostly about the rabbi. And I suspect one of the ladies isn't really very together these days. Certainly her jumping around from topic to topic and stuff that happened years ago didn't make us think that she has a lot of cognitive ability these days. DH even reminded her that he had discussed the same issue with her last year.

Today I really need to do some work upstairs or in the garage, and need to catch up on things here at home. I have a 6 p.m. temple meeting and I may try to go see my dmom first because the meeting is close to where she lives.

And another phone call....

Five things:
-change clothes, brush teeth, clean face, find sunglasses
-walk ddogs
-empty the dishwasher
-start a lol
-MBR straightening up

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COWINKIE!

I have just cleaned out a hugely stuffed email box, looking for some important information. Found some other stuff I needed to deal with and glad that is done now...still trying to find affordable insurance, and have located something maybe..we are considering..

My legs are achy again today. Sometimes they wake me up, I suspect it is when I roll around and my knees touch together, but last night I did sleep. Anyway, my knees have green areas that have turned chartreuse, and there are darker green streaks down my legs. But, I am getting better, little by little.

Going out to do some shopping in a bit.

Morning y'all..

Why thank y'all for the kind birthday wishes....and Harriet, your cake is delish!!! Y'all are making this girl feel wonderful this morning.

Yesterday aftenoon I came down with a migraine. Its time for the cycle to start if its gonna happen. Was just thinking the other day that perhaps I might make it through this one, but alas, it didn't happen. This morning I woke up with the migraine...the little devil...sitting behind my eye waiting to ambush me. I was forced to take a blood pressure pill..which in turn will make my hair fall out some more...however, I'm not gonna let that little devil sneak into my head and steal the day. I've always wondered what I'd look like bald and I may get that opoportunity yet.

Anyway, I need to water my new flowers, then later today Sweetie and I are going to the movies and after that to a country club for dinner. Never been there so it will be a new experience as well. Everything is on track for Sat's party. Sweetie and I did the dreaded Wally World run late yesterday. Everything is organized and put up for the party. Then I have to get ready to fly out next Tue to my son in SC for his graduation. I have a shelve in my guest closet where I am putting all the things I need for that trip. I know what I need to pack and this way when I physically start doing it, I won't be so scattered.

Happy Birthday, Cowinkie!

Well, yesterday I got as far as the bus stop - then turned around and came home and went back to bed.

So - today, the two inventories... but it's not raining. I'll pack a lunch, find... somewhere... to eat it... (there is a park about 2 blocks out of my way, so that may be it)

Heading out shortly.

Have a good day, all.

Happy Birthday, Cowinkie.

Trying to decided weather to take my computer or just the Kindle for our trip. It would eliminate the briefcase/computer case I would have to shlep around. But then, too, the many pockets in the briefcase are handy places to carry reservation confirmations, passports, charging cords, etc. More thinking to be done on this.

I did get DH's script refills ordered and picked up yesterday so that is all good. We have to take a 3 week supply to make sure we have enough meds in case of lay overs, etc. I am taking them in 2 two week, 4 times a day sorters and 4 little once a day weeklies. That gives us each a morning and an evening slot for 3 weeks. I will fill those next Saturday morning. Have to remember to take written list of meds with us in case TSA questions anything.

My heels have been cracking because of dry skin and DH got me the neatest little dohicky yesterday. It fits in my hand like an egg with a micro planer to deal with the elephant skin. I've also been putting the Udderly Smooth on them and wearing sox around the house. This morning I could see a huge improvement.

Next up is some laundry. Trying to get clothes ready for the trip.

Good Morning Ladies,

Happy Birthday Cowinkle!

We have sunshine again today, going to see if I can get out in it for a little bit today.

Went to bed exhausted yesterday and woke up stiff and hurting.

Have a few goals that I want to accomplish today anyway, just taking it a bit slower today. Memory is a bit bad today too. First I went to take my meds and DH stopped me saying you took those already. Talked with me about it for awhile and then I did remember taking them. Then went looking for the butter for Dbrother's toast and Dson17 said that I had already put it away. and yes when I opened up the fridge there it was.

Kathryn, wanted to encourage you in your preaching and say that maybe God has another plan for you during that time when your church chose not to use you. Be on the look-out for what is coming your way. :)

Going to take a warm shower, think it will feel especially good today.

Great day to all!

MT, is it a "Pedi-egg" or something like that? I've used it also although I'm not very consistent...

Can't seem to get rolling much today. Sometimes need to just go with the flow?
-make the bed
-clear kitchen counters
-get rid of 10 pieces of paper on my stack of papers
-clear kitchen table
-reboot laundry

Twins - it is the C V S version of the Pedi Egg. It also has a place to put a piece of sandpaper on the outside to polish one's heels.

I haven't left the computer yet as I was getting some emails out of the way and (let's face it) wasting time.

Off to the washer!!!
