Happy Birthday to Dee!

Up early here because dd agreed when called by hospital to be there for the bone scan at 7:30. This from a person who gets up as late as possible. I'm a little put out with her in genera - found her not wearing walking shoes several times yesterday and the doc gave her very explicit instructions that she must wear those shoes anytime her foot hits the floor.

I'm also running around trying to get house ready for cleaning lady.

Busy day yesterday - won't go into detail about dMacs breaking out the front door and running down the street after another dog, but either the PT really improved him, or he's not as bad off as I thought. Last night was biz function with dh and I did the corporate wife thing, was enjoyable evening but got home on the late side.

Today is dd's bone scan, which they say will take 3 hours (I think she gets an injection, then has to wait for it to be taken up by the bones where it can be seen by whatever the machinery is.) So I'll be there with her. Tonight is a graduation party for a dear cousin - need to get a gift and a gift card of some kind.

Oh right, I'm the next number up today! Thanks, gals. I expect it to be a good day! Although it's quite cold -53 in here this morning. The furnace is on -after AC a couple of days ago. Glad I'm not traveling this weekend. Even some snow in the higher elevations south of here. Yuk!

Got up at 6 with dh and I'm still up but not s2s by any means.

HAVE to do LOL today. Dh put on his last skivvies this morning. Must mean wash time! I'm good for a while, but not him.

Think I'll snuggle in the chair for a little bit then get moving.

Harriet - re weather here. There are large parts having drought.
Here- Winter has come early with weather patterns already in place that sometimes don't start until August.
Still we have some drizzle some days so you can't depend on long runs of days suitable to dry washing. Trying not to wish the drizzle away as there is no telling how long it will disappear.

Cold nights with some folk around here having frosts some mornings. Westerly winds rule today.

Helia - When I did puppy school it was suggested to take the puppy outside with every change of activity. eg - after play, sleep, food. I think my puppy was confused at the start as to where he was meant "to go". GL.

Prayers for the Dee's, and upcoming procedure. For Ken on his travels, and for some good sense for Mr Lilac in his.

Date for DBro is mid next month. I am not sure how long he will be out of action afterwards.

Twins - thinking of you and dd today.
and Lucylee on her last day of school.
Just begin.

Happy Birthday Dee!

LucyLee - cheering you on!

Twins - Interesting about the bone scan. SMH I find it amazing how health technology has advanced.

Today has a large chunk of time being spent on errands -
** travel (30 minutes)
** Pick up DGS16 (15 minutes)
** WW meeting (30 Minutes)
** Doc office to discuss LO shot record. School says LO is missing an immunization (30 minutes)
** Sally's for hair color supplies (15 minutes)
** Lunch at OG for eye-2-eye talk with DGS16 (60 minutes)
** WG - pick up DH prescription (15 minutes)
** WM - list buying (30 minutes)
** Sam's - list buying (30 minutes)
** travel (30 minutes)

Hopefully I can make it back home in 5 hours. That's the plan anyway. :)

If I can make it through those in a timely manner, then I'll be able to go mow DBrothers yard. Long story....DSisIL sister was diagnosed with cancer this week so DSisIL has been out of state doing support for her sister. DNeice (DBro daughter) is getting married tomorrow. Their life is extremely busy right now....however the grass doesn't stop and wait for it to slow down.

Salmon patties and salad are on menu for dinner so that will be easy to prep/cook/serve/cleanup. (1 hour)
Followed by going to VDFriends home for FNG. (2 hours)
Followed by doing MPB chores. (1.5 hours)

In the meantime....I continue to wonder why I can't make any progress on paperwork. It just keeps stacking up......

Hmmmm.....had to login. No problem. Yay!!'

It's been drizzling all morning -just another 1/4" since last night. It was 53 in here this morning & had to turn on the furnace. AC 2 days ago. Yep, typical weather for here.

Thank you for the wonderful b'day wishes. I almost forgot it was today -so much going on in our lives right now.

BBL -here's dh for a break.

Sermon is progressing, at least half done. It might be a short one this week which is ok since the rest of the service is long.

Ds is up. I need to go get dressed. I've had my breakfast and my snack.

Happy Birthday, Dee!!!

Had a full night's sleep in MY OWN BED!!!! Now up wandering around looking at stuff.

Need to get moving as I have 2 Dr. appointments today. One a follow-up on skin problems that are much improved and one for diabetes eye check (which I hate because of eye drops and bright lights in eye gives me headache)

Then we are basically on our own schedule until next Wednesday when we have 3 days of Dr appointments/tests.

Somewhere in there I have to start loading the RV for our summer travels.

Oh - the other thing is that I lost my glucometer somewhere on vacation. Since I was being bad (not checking BS) I don't know where. I think I have an old one somewhere but the one I lost had the extra batteries and a brand new container of strips. :(

Best get moving as I have a bunch of forms to fill out for the eye Dr.
