Dh had stomach issues this am after having lasagna last night. He was 15 minutes out of the city, when he called to tell me why he was running late. He said it was extremely windy there. It is picking up here, so no telling what it will be when he gets closer.

I need groceries but can get by until tomorrow. I will need to have my list ready so that after walking and mowing, I can shower and go.

I need to mop, so I might as well do it before I shower, since he won't be home for at least 3 hours.

Dd just called and will be here in 20 min. or so I'll begin granny duty with dgd. I slept in and have fed the chickens and had breakfast. Glad I did the dishes and got those out of the sink last night. Counters still need more work. The temp. gate I tried yesterday for the chickens did not last the day I put up so today I'll try some thing different.

Hi everyone!

My work van needed to go to the mechanic for wires and spark plugs, so I got home early! Yay! I might have a nap.

I might go to the Alzheimer's Society and pick up some of their literature. We drop off and pick up passengers there, so I know where they are.

I might go to a couple of the library branches to pick up some books on the subject for dh to read.

A nap might win. ;)

I am waiting for the floor to dry so that I can put the chairs back before I shower. I have also folded 2 loads of towels, washed and dried sheets, then remade bed. I ironed 6 of dhs shirts that were waiting for me. I had an early lunch. I should be able to shower, etc so I can be on the sofa eating bon bons when dh comes in. Well not really but it sounds like a plan.

Turns out that the doc did talk to dh on his cell phone, and let him know that dd indeed has a stress fracture - but doc asked for phone numbers for us and dh didn't ask for any additional info.

Dh got home from doing his continuing education and work and I had to (try to) shift gears and we went to Tar-jay. We wanted two more heavy plastic adirondack chairs for the back yard and I had noticed last week that the local Tar-jay had them again. Any forward momentum that I had is gone again and I'm thinking I may nap now.

I'm struggling to hang onto my forward momentum.

Ds is up. I thought to check our internet usage this month (was looking for an archived email from dh and found the one with the passwords to our account - checked and we have 58gigs left that expire tonight so ds is downloading like mad.)

Errands went well. Did reading for sermon and came up with no ideas. Guess it isn't time yet... so much for trying to make things less last second.

I'm going to go outside for 15 - 30 and weed.

Hello Dear Ladies,

Sunshine here today. Sat on the porch for a few minutes and soaked up the sun.

DH has borrowed a tractor since ours broke and the part is on order for over two weeks. Hopefully the part will come in soon. In the meantime he is catching up on mowing and will take it over to oldest son and do his lawn too.

I am really enjoying the day as it is a paid holiday for me, so as I'm doing laundry or dishes or anything else, I'm getting paid. :D :D :D :D :D

Want to get a letter our to Dcounsin Norma so will work on that in my break times. She gave me her e-mail address and that is better than getting it out to the post office.

Need to get a shower in and then back to the laundry.

Great day to all!

It's been 4 hours 25 minutes, but whose counting, since I heard from dh. He should be here anytime. I will need to call his dsis when he gets here. She hates him riding a motorcycle as much as their dm did. Dsisils oldest ds has a motorcycle. He told dh that on FB but asked him not to tell his dm because she doesn't need the worry. As far as dh goes, I try to tell myself that if something ever happens while he is on his bike, he died doing what he loved and was happy at the time. I can say that before the fact. Pray it never comes to that.

Dh is home. His friend had texted him that they have broken up. We were unloading the bike and he showed up. I can't wait to hear the details of this. I just couldn't imagine that any gal who would show her nipple rings to a bar full of people, would really be relationship material.

Gotta call dsisil.
