The pump man came and left. We got copper wiring so it won't rust on the capacitor like it did before. Got a new capacitor and switch. It was only $240, which always could be worst. Our cat's potty box is in the utility room. I said to DH, "If you clean Tutu's potty box, I'll do the laundry. You know how therapeutic it is for me." ;) We have a clean potty box! We had to limit laundry for a few days because of low water pressure occasionally.

I got a beautiful book from the Discovery House Publishers. It's 90 Devotions on Nature from Our Daily Bread, which is called "Creation Sings His Praise." It's full of pretty photography, is about 8" x 5" and about 125 pages. It was nice to get it free.

I had a 2-hour nap. I really conked out hard, too! Now Tutu is sleeping on the afghan where I'd been on our bed. I had a thick blanket over me.

I ended up ordering 2 pairs of leg warmers, rather than crochet them. I have patience to crochet for gifts for others, to bless them, but when I crochet for me, I'm not so patient. I wanted it to go faster, I was pokey and getting "cranky". The 1 black pr. and 1 white pr. were $16.94 together + s/h came to $20.some cents. I'm happy I don't need to put in all that work.

I cannot believe that June begins on Saturday! :!: Where does time go? :?: Are we REALLY having fun and this is why time goes fast or is it because we're getting old----- ER.

Have a wonderful evening, Everybody! Have a Happy Night! :D

Checking in again..

Been working on my new phone. Did I tell you I dropped my old one (which was probably 10 years old) and it did not light up any more so I could not read the displays? I could call out and pick up but unless I had a phone number memorized, I couldn't call anyone without looking it up here at home! New phone has way more stuff than I need. I don't do internet on my phone.

So far I know how to charge it, turn it on and off, and I have my address book set up. Nothing was saved to my Sim card so I had to do it all from scratch. 29 names. Still haven't found out how to set ring tone.

DH says I should put a piece of wide transparent tape over the display window because if it gets all scratched I won't be able to read. It's not a touch screen. Does anybody think this is a good idea?

Know I'll feel better when this is all set up. Unreal how much we rely on these electronics!

Dinner (turkey breast was wonderful) and kitchen is now cleaned up.

Elizabeth, I vote for DD taking her lunch too. That's what I'd do.

Kathryn - No Skype? Now I'm confused. I thought your DH and I had the same phone (Samsung Galaxy Note).

(((Harmony))) - Bummer about the tests and stress of waiting for results. (((Hugs)))

Dee - I smile every time I imagine hearing "valve" in a southern drawl. Bowel makes perfect sense. :)

LO ball game went well tonight. We watched a few innings of the 7-8 year olds play. After being used to how the 4-5 year olds play, the older kids look like professionals!

MPB chores were simple tonight because of the weather. We finished them in 35 minutes.

Hi again everyone! DD11 has come and gone. DD's daycare does not allow them to bring in food, otherwise that is what we would do. She would be perfectly ok with that, but she will not eat the stuff they serve.

I have put out the trash, done a LOL, and finished a hand sewn Barbie dress. I am posting the latest dresses in 'arts crafts and needlework'. Give me a few minutes and they will be there.

ETA: For some reason, I cannot post to arts, crafts, and needlework. I have tried both with and without pictures. It has worked for me before, but not now. Bummer.

ETA2: I remembered this problem from last time: my uploaded files were too big. Problem solved, dresses now posted.
