Good Morning! It is a relief to read the good news from Dee and dh, MT and Cats, all in recovery now.

Watching the weather channel for a little while. Looks like we are going to get our share of rain here in central FL with the low center developing in the Gulf. Where I am it hasn't started raining yet, but it is getting close!

Wishing Helia and dh a pleasant trip and a nice visit with good friends.

This afternoon I will move a few potted plants from the dining room to the front garden outside. There are also a few I can transplant that are coming up wild from other spots in the yard. I also want to get my clothes ready for tomorrow. Dgd18 graduates tomorrow. The ceremony is at 9 am at Ruth Eckerd Hall. We want to leave early enough to get a good parking place.

Well, this sat here for over an hour while I got sidetracked... ... now it's time for lunch and cuop! :)

Hello Dear Ladies,

So glad to hear the Mr. Dee is on the mend. (((Dee))

Also thinking of (((Cats))). Glad you are feeling better.

For some reason my back keeps having muscle spasms, they take my breath away when they hit. Reminds me of birthing labor.

Dson 21 who is here for a bit before going off to work, told me to stop what I'm doing and take a break. So I checked in here.

Going to shower, the water should help some and then I have to get ready for work. Thankful I have the phone job.

Did manage to get the dishes done and lunch made. The bathrooms need to done but they'll wait for me or maybe somebody will say they can't stand them and clean them.  Not likely.

Great day to all!

I've been under the weather a bit and not here but I just had to come by and see how everybody is doing. So glad to read Dee's DH is recovering and MT didn't need anything further. NOT happy to read about poor DLilly, wondering what's wrong with the world that kids think this is ok to do. I hope she recovers and keeps at least one eye with sight.

Yesterday was hectic and I had paperwork to do to take with me to church meeting. I had lots of errands to run so it was a busy day. Had some sort of stomach upset that kept me up all last night and I slept in till noon today. Something still going on, I guess it just has to take its course.

Phone calls received and made yesterday, pretty upsetting, as now I must call the lab and cancel all tests. It wasn't for anything urgent, just for understand of how things are "working" or not... but insurance is not covering any of this... so I'll put it off another 14 months. I have no symptoms anyway, though the problems is there. It's been probably 10 years or so since diagnosis. Really considering this insurance thing. If I didn't have the insurance premiums I could have afforded the tests and still paid way less than I do in monthly charges. After talking with the co. find out what isn't covered...if I knew for sure I wouldn't be in the hospital for anything this coming year I would go without for this 14 months, I'd be way more ahead and be able to take care of myself better...

We've had a couple rainy days and grass is nicely green. My desk is piled up again, it's a constant battle to keep it cleared.

We haven't seen Elizabeth around for a few days, I hope everything is ok there.

Kathryn, sure a good thing Ken got his computer going again.

So nice to see all the hugs & good wishes. Glad you're recouping, cats!

Dh just took his first walk. Still has drainage tubes, external pacemaker etc.
ds-R has cold symptoms so is staying away. Wouldn't be surprised if ddil#2 brings in dgs10 months at some point

My big wallop for today- got my glasses. He put new bridge on, new nose pads & adjusted them. Dawned on me a while ago I haven't had to push them up once. They've been loose for so long guess I didn't know any different. Nice! Guy took them home to do so very nice.

Hi everyone! I have gotten my bloodwork done, transferred some money between accounts, and done my timesheet. I tried to call my parents recently and forgot: they are on a cruise in Bavaria (lucky them!). There is an adoption pending for Destiny (dFosterKitten). Two other potential adopters have expressed interest in her, and I thought she would be the HARDEST to place! Someone is also coming Saturday to the clinic to see Gravity and Levity. DD11 was extremely upset that I would not be keeping Gravity, so I am trying to hang onto him until she returns. Tomorrow, she goes to Alaska with XDH. They are taking a wheelchair in case she needs it.

Tonight's plan: First, go to the yarn shop to discuss the yarn bombing that I accidentally signed up to head. Then go to a car dealership. I am not looking for another car, but these people are giving me a Lowes gift card just for showing up. (I could also win $25K, but it is far more likely that I will get the minimum prize). Other things that I will try to get done: sewing room fix up, upload pictures to Arts Crafts and Needlework, and database project work.

Thank you for thinking of me Harmony. Things are going ok, except that I am not getting paid much at payroll.

Just cuop.

Glad you're doing okay, Cats. Are you okay to declutter paper, etc... Are you healed yet or does the activity do you good now? Are you all well? I hope you don't feel any pain from it and feel as good as new.

MT, I'm glad you've turned out okay, too. It's scary when these things happen, but a relief when all turns out well.

Harmony, Insurance company's are doing "strange things" now. I can sympathize with that and identify with that.

I'm getting booted off DH's plan because I'm a non-Medicare spouse. He's turning 72, is on Medicare, I'm 61 and had DH's old carrier through the plant as mine, too, but as of 1-1-14, I'll be with somebody else. I need to research on 10-1-13, I was advised by DH's co. and I've got one picked out. Whenever I mention "who" to others, be them friends, pals, or a nurse or office worker, I get the impression how good they are. DH uses their pharmacy plan, so I'll use them for that and insurance both.

I just disinfected knobs, phones, drawer handles and pulls, light switches, etc.. because I still detect a smidgeon of "pink eye". The eye dr. said it'd be running out its course like a cold yesterday, so I was all excited about Tues. the 4th coming, only to wake up Wed. the 5th, disappointed because it's still there. I was mad at myself. I will keep disinfecting, washing with soap and water, and using the hand sanitizer. DH is perfectly fine. The specialist said the virus is everywhere, like a cold. I'm glad I got everything disinfected again.

It's a beautiful day here today. Waving hello to Sadie, Nancy, Twins, helia, Dee, Elizabeth, and Kathryn, and others. Have a good day! :D

I'm home from getting dd to camp today.

Long drive made longer by several phone calls for which I pulled over to talk. The hospital where my dsis is has found a nursing home that will take her but it is 3 1/2 hours from here. OTOH, they have had difficulty finding any nursing home who would take her and GA is a big state - the next one could be further than 3.5 hours because GA is a big state. I am thinking of cancelling meeting w Rabbi in the a.m. and cancelling lunch with a friend (he wants to talk temple biz and lodge some complaints, I want his help in looking at dsis' house and deciding what to do.) I feel like a fool because I called about 45 minutes ago and confirmed that I will have lunch, then talked to social worker friend who suggested I drive to nursing home tomorrow and show up unannounced for a tour and discussion.

Just read my yesterday's post. Between the happy pills and autocorrect, I surprised I got anything posted that made sense.

We left the motel around 9:30 and came home the slow way (US 60 vs freeways). Stopped for gas and picked up another cabinet for DH's garage at Habitat 4 Humanity Re-store. It even matches the one we picked up before.

I have dozed most of the afternoon away. Groin area is pretty bruised and a tat sore. I've been putting ice on it and it helps a lot.

Time to go figure out something for dinner.
