Hello, girls!

Our evening with 2 guests for supper went very well. My "fix it" for today was the meal I "fixed" for them. Was just now looking around thinking we should do this more often as the bathrooms are touched up, rug is vacuumed, and house has been swiffered. Oh and my paperwork got neatened up, too! Not to mention we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. :)

Can't remember all I just read from everyone here. So I'll just say goodnight!

No time to cuop. Off to bed.

Just got back from the ER. Was there since 4:40 - probably another gall bladder attack. This one was far worse, although it was resolving itself after 7 hours (and still hadn't seen the doctor at that point.) Pain meds were give 5 hours after arriving at the ER.

I'll have to be sent for an ultra sound next week by my family doctor. It will be months until surgery.

So the question becomes - do we go or do we stay home from the trip. I can't control my food that well while traveling. The ship will be fine (in fact probably better than home because there will be no temptation to just grab something unhealthy because it is easier since both are on offer at all times.) It it the travel to and from the ship that will be extremely difficult and, depending on how sensitive my system is, I could trigger another attack easily.

Since I'm not well yet (despite an anti-spasm med, an anti nausea med and morphine) it is hard to think straight. Will go to bed and hopefully have a clearer head in the morning.

Oh, KATHRYN, sorry to hear this! I'm sure you know to stick to a lowfat diet to try to ward off another attack. That is the worst pain. Will be thinking of you.
