Yes, I've heard that rule as an 80-20 rule; I think it can be applied more broadly. As an example in another area: maybe about 20% of high schools in the country produce roughly 80% of the college graduates in the country. (I once read numbers very similar on this topic many years ago, but I haven't verified their current accuracy.)
It is nice to hear Kathryn's cheerfulness returning. I hope you continue to feel better.
Hoping Mr. Dee is resting and healing too.
Thank you for your kind thoughts about Lily. I know she is just a cat, but we are immensely relieved that her left eye is back to normal. She had her surgery this afternoon, and the vet ophthalmologist called and said everything went well. they're going to keep her overnight to keep an eye on her - HA! I wrote that without even thinking about the "eye" issue - and make sure she is doing OK. I''ll pick her up tomorrow a.m.
We can't believe we've spent the amount of $$ on this cat that we have.
I was so tired this evening, I didn't even want to go to book club. But I did go and I'm glad I did. It is often that way.
Dh is packing. I think the girls are done studying.
I'm going to head to bed. Tomorrow is another full day.
