Need to be in bed but bs was too low to go to bed without a snack. I hate when that happens.

Dh went to the dr. today. She said his throat was a little red but she found nothing to be alarmed about. Dh and her assume that something he ate scratched his throat and irritated it. She said then if he had allergies that would keep the situation flared up. He is suppose to pay attention to see if it happens again.

Dh went to the med store where he gets his cpap stuff. He has to take in a little computer type thing, flash drive maybe, from his cpap machine so that they can see how he is doing. Also, it tells if he is using it regularly. Yes, he is. I am so proud of him, because I would go nuts tethered to that every night and dealing with a hose while I am trying to sleep.

Dd1, her dh and dgd16 were able to hike and zip line today. They were in their white water raft and rounded a curve. They were stopped because of the wild fire ahead. They will be getting a full refund due to missing it. They drove onto Salida late this afternoon. They will be going on a trail ride tomorrow.

Dh and I went out to eat at his favorite Mexican restaurant. After that we went to Menards and spent more money. I am just kicking myself. On the 25th of May we bought 2 ceiling fans. Then they ran them on sale for $32.00 off of each of them. I noticed today on the back of the receipt that they would have refunded the money within 14 days. Grrrr..... Well I will know this for the next time it happens.

I am hoping to do some yardwork before it gets too hot in the morning. Then I need to work on laundry. All of a sudden it is piling up.

For the 2nd day in a row, our high was 108.

Hi again everyone! It's almost tomorrow in my timezone. I enjoyed the knit/crochet group at the deli. There was one person I knew already. I finished DD11's vest and started on the flowers to attach to it. Then, I came home and put away stuff for the maids to come tomorrow. They are coming at 8:30, I had best be up. I have a doctor's appointment at 10:00 so if tomorrow wasn't maid day, I could lie in. Oh well.

Here is the list I have been working on, green is done:

Quicken update
Manage Staples account

Find particular book for DD
Collect patterns for yarn bombing
Maid prep

Work in sewing room - much progress made, not complete
Database project
Check insurance paperwork
Order part
Call Dot
Update an account folder
Minutes and notes for animal org - essential this is done as early as possible tomorrow
Increase watering

citylady: It amused me greatly that you have a CSA pickup. To me CSA = Confederate States of America!

Sunny: My hand does not hurt anymore. The skin where it was burned is hardened, but I am sure it will recover soon.
