tonight shrimp scampi for dd older and dh and myself and a nice green salad (I don't care for shrimp but I don't want to make a dinner other than this), dd younger doesn't eat fish... so I will make her a salad topped with a poached egg and bacon pieces.

for friends: I am laughing at this as I did all the work already and now it has been postponed until tomorrow. Thank goodness I didn't mix the ingredients.
root salad: red beets, orange beets, turnip, carrot, parsnip, onion roasted topped with celeriac and a shallot dressing with parsley (all veggies cooked and salad dressing made)
tomato and mozzarella with basil (salad dressing made) :D
Carrot salad with bacon, red onion, vinaigrette dressing (done :D )
small regular salad

French bread bought but it won't be any good tomorrow.

dessert: ice cream bought and raspberry sauce (made and in ref ridge) and fresh raspberries (it was really good)
rolled cookies premade :D

so Friday asparagus roasted with herbs d'provence tossed with olive oil s/p
oven cooked serono ham
poached egg and easy peasy hollandaise

quiche with chorizo and goat cheese, salad

today I had plums, apples, a peach and blueberries that needed to be used before they went bad.

with the apples, peach, pulp of one very soft plum I am cooking applesauce
blueberries I made a tarte for family
plums (still good enough for pie - I made a very small tarte)

I love bean and cheese burritos - it's one of my family's favorites!!!

I have been working on making 2 person recipes - reducing favorite recipes.
my grandmother was a master of this. It seemed effortless and its not for me. lol

tonight is eggs and the asparagus lol so much for plans!!! we ended up with brats cooked in beer and grilled and left over salads galore

still have left over from yesterday: 1 serve tomato salad, root salad, celeriac salad, fruit
