Re: Monday Movement
I'm pushing myself as hard as I dare.
Took time to read for a while after breakfast and then went upstairs and s2s (plus made the bed properly.) Then I laid down on the bed for 45 minutes while I recovered from that!
Got up at 11:30 and made a batch of soup. We really, really, need groceries but I can't express what we need (until I got to grab it and find it missing) and I have no idea what I want to eat until moments before I want to eat it.
I had 3 mini-quiche and an apple while the soup cooked. I'll have the soup and some crackers for my second lunch later in the afternoon.
Went for a walk with dh. I get so winded if I walk and talk (or do anything and talk.) While in the shower I tried singing. I can't even hit a C above middle C right now (usually I'm good for a D and some days E-flat or even E.) And I can barely carry a phrase. Babysteps.
I'm going to check email and then settle in to read/nap some more now.

Lucylee, do you need to set some boundaries?
I have done a handful of things and walked the ddogs. Two long temple emails.

Re: Monday Movement
Have a feeling it was pretty much on purpose, Harriet. She failed to follow very explicit instructions, which she thoroughly understood. He was worried & pretty upset when they found her. It's called 'control' in her book.
Dh looks much better today. His eyes in particular. At least now they don't look so "dead". He's left his support stockings off -Dr said he could when his legs no longer looked/felt swollen. So just trying it out. Though we're being very careful, his new bp meds have diuretic in them and he stopped the Lasix & potassium on Saturday. They did double one med to control his heartbeat and that seems much more regular now. Fast for him but at least only an occasional irregular beat. His oxygen level was the best it's been (today) too.
DD was over for a while. Trying to figure out why we can't find any of my files (from last 2 computers) on my external hard drive. I really need them. GD was asking again for my last computer, Sunday. Not happening. Found an interesting thing this morning. She had posted on FB when she got to the airport yesterday -not surprising since there's WiFi. BUT she posted again last night at 7:47 -long after dsonil took her back to the ranch. DD couldn't figure that out since there's no WiFi available at the Ranch. Unless they all went to McD's or something.
Have to run over (or golf cart) to DD's. Wants my opinion on something. BBL

Re: Monday Movement
Any movement around here is a positive step forward. I was a slug on Sunday.
Happy belated anniversary to Sunny and DH.
Lilac, I shudder to think of DD moving and you helping pack, clean, move. Even if it makes it easier in the long run, still a lot of work.
Harriet, that wedding wasn't very well planned. I went to one when it dragged on like that, however, they had a bar set up and hors d' v... well however you spell that...
So, Sat. we went to the beach and that was nice.
Sunday was church. Naps. And we had lots of hard rain so I sat out on the covered porch to watch that. nice.
Today I folded laundry, cleaned up a bunch of stuff from Friday night's youth group here (40 for hotdogs and bonfire), another LOL ready to hang up; big cleanup in kitchen and I got bills paid and in the mail. I have an infected toenail so am wearing one sneaker and 1 slipper. It is getting better.
Must go to post office, must go to library (egad out of books to read) must look at freezer to see what's there for dinner. Waiting for my tenant to come by with $.
Hugs for (OKay) Yay a free day, but still.... and for (Kathryn) glad you're doing ok.

Re: Monday Movement
I'm back from the groc. store. Need to finish unloading the car.
Coffee with dfriend was good. She mainly shared her life and faith struggles with me. I listened and tried to affirm and encourage here. She is an amazing woman who lives life deeply, a friend from book club and the church moms group, though she attends a different church. About 1/4 of the moms group is from other churches.
Not properly cuops.
LOL lucylee!! Through my work at the church moms group, I've noticed many young people these days have much more help with their babies and kids than I ever did. I do think family involvement and help is the most awesome thing and wish I had had more of that.
Taking photos is a great idea, Harriet. I also know some things that need to be done, so I can start there. However, not much time today; people will be here in about 5 hours, and I need to make, serve, and eat dinner in that time too. . . .
Skippable: All grades are finally in and both girls did very well. I'll email dd15 her final grades and the last 2 final exam scores (World History and Latin II) at camp as she asked me. She will be happy, though not surprised. She is at church camp this week; I drove her down late yesterday afternoon.
Off to unload the car. It is getting hot here. It is 87* now, quite hot for us.

Re: Monday Movement
Read until 2 and then had my next meal. Just a bowl of hodge podge (a milk-based vegetable soup.)
I'm going to nap for a while now since I'm really tired.
Had success with the primary sort of movement on my to-do list today. Feel a bit better as a result. Will still keep up with all the fiber, though, and small meals. It is getting time for a pain pill (actually, it is past time for one) but I'd like to give them up in case they are what is causing the itchiness and metallic taste.

Re: Monday Movement
Morning y'all.... still morning on my side of the villiage
All my morning routine routines are done. Also watered plants and flowers outside. Laundry started, Came, turned Perry Mason on, ironed while watching, then turned it off so I wouldn't get sucked into the boob tube and finished folding clothes. Cleaned the kitchen, planned dinner and now have a break. Need to run a few afternoon errands and that will complete my day.
Need to do a bit of desk work...some pleasure, some mandatory things...but all in all its gonna be a good day.
Harmony...I didn't get much done yesterday. I was feeling "off". Fell asleep around noon and took a nap. Very odd for me. We had an omlett and toast for dinner last night. That aught to tell y'all something.
Looking at the week ahead, I have both a dr's and dentist appointment and lunch with the girls on Friday. House is in pretty good order so that will give me some time to play.
Waving to y'all... I'll be back later.

Re: Monday Movement
Good afternoon, everyone!
Had a fun trip South to help with DD's apartment search. Mission accomplished!
House is in order--had many dishes and loads of laundry to do after returning home. Today I picked up a movie DH will enjoy from the library. Also finally got the baby gift I am late buying. That will get delivered by DH tomorrow. Dropped off donation to thrift store.
Grocery run will be tomorrow. Also must deliver a meal to a church family after that. Will get something pre-made.
Need to trim 2 shrubs at side of house this week. Should do it now while I have on shoes and long pants...that area looks a little "snakey".

Re: Monday Movement
Hello from Gallup, NM.
We had a great night in Williams, AZ. Quiet, cool and soft pillows meant a good night's sleep.
We woke early so did a recon run to find lowest price and easy in/easy out gas station.
Came back, ate breakfast, and after gassing and hooking up we were on the road by 8:15.
We pulled in and are parked at 220 miles down the road at the Elk Lodge in Gallup by 1:15. We were going to stay here two nights but might push on to Las Vegas, NM and stay there several nights. I would like to do some sight seeing around the pueblos.
Nice breeze and we have enough electric to run all the electronics. Don't need AC tonight.
OH! They also have a pool!!!
