no cooking for me today... yay! my dd older wants to learn to cook so she made carnitas and it's sitting in the crock pot while I watched and gave her some basic cooking instructions - she did great

I have to make a blueberry pie for tonight (I have lots of blueberries)
I also have to freeze all the berries I bought (for this winter)

first go get bread for the day.

with dd younger being gone I am going to try my hand at one person recipes. simple but tasty food.

My family has been eating out tons and I have been (unfortunately hogging down junk because our meals are all mixed up). So I am trying to get back on track. I bought pea shoots yesterday for salads, and some individual fruits.

wish me luck on creating recipes for one person.

sounds great d nancy!

we had chicken parmesan (not so hot) no one wanted to put it in the oven.... learned something salt the chicken directly instead of mixing with the bread crumb
