((( Dee ))) That's a lot to process. Remember, you can't support dh if you are in a diabetic coma so I want you to put your health higher up on the priority list. In fact, it should be your dd's responsibility to make sure you are eating properly. She doesn't have to eat, but you do and she can be charged with packing a selection of healthy foods to picnic with while you are attending to dh. Send her out tonight to pick up whatever you need (fresh fruit, crackers & cheese, etc.)

I actually feel more relaxed just having house looking halfway back to normal.
That's why I keep puttering around here. Every little thing I do feels like a victory.
Fortunately, I had the minister use the upstairs bathroom because I hadn't checked ds's. Checked it later. Without a doubt, it was the right thing to redirect the minister! Like Harriet's, it is off the main living room so it is logical to send guests there, but that is no longer an option!
Dh took me for a walk before he started cooking dinner. We dropped off our monetary donation for the neighbourhood street party on the 29th. Originally, we had sent regrets because we weren't going to be here. But since we will be around, I decided we should visit with people. This might be our last, or second to last, one. It isn't our street but, over the years, the party has spread to include anyone who has ties on the street. Dh's best friend used to live there, but now our main tie is our house-checker who lives there.
