I've mowed today and did ex. bike I can breathe more easily today yea! I spaced it out and did some mowing before noon and some just after lunch, then the ex. bike this evening before dinner time.

Great weather here 8-) sun is out and humidity is dropping temps. are rising heating for triple digits.

I've had fun looking for ipads tablets nook etc. learning quite a bit about apps; google's jelly bean, ice cream os and wondering if I can get used to a smaller size one. Hoping to find what I want in stock instead of having to wait for it to be shipped when I finally do decide.

I did it!! All paperwork from 2012 has been processed. Next is going through the spreadsheets and make sure the formulas are correct.

MT - glad to see you are parked and surrounded by friends. Enjoy!

My thermometer (in the shade) said 107 this afternoon. Summer has definitely arrived. :)

I bought the book and will try to read it. Although I expect it will really capture DH attention since he likes that type of fiction. He hasn't read this author so I suspect he will have a new series to read.

Elly I'm glad you are feeling so much better. And yes, I noticed I wasn't well the weeks before. I had a 7 lb gain during that time, had a hard time drinking my water and found I tended to choose high salt/sugar foods because nothing else appealed to me. When I was fully infected, nothing tasted good at all and I could only get down ice water or tea (not even broth, gingerale, juice or jello had any taste for me.) My urine went back to normal 2 days after surgery and it had been out of whack for a good 2 weeks before I got sick (but I was in denial at that point thinking I wasn't drinking enough water or eating well enough, despite it being the same symptom I had had during the hepatitis.)

I was interested you had a grilled cheese sandwich. I've been craving them all week but am still not ready to risk such a high fat meal. And, I'm still eating 5 - 6 meals per day in order to go easy on my insides. I'm no longer drinking soft drinks. The craving for them is mostly gone and when I had a bit of Coke a few days ago, it didn't taste good to me. I have started drinking sparkling water again, though.

My surgery was two weeks ago today. Neighbours are surprised at how well I'm moving. Today is a very low movement day, I'll be lucky if I get past 5K steps today. Dh and I went for walk after supper to get some steps in but that only got me to 4K. I have tidying to do but I don't think it is 1K steps worth and it is dark and buggy outside now.

I haven't had any ibuprofin since I woke up this morning so that's another improvement. It doesn't mean I haven't had any discomfort or sharp pains but they tend to be fleeting enough that it isn't worth taking something for them. I did have a 90 minute nap, though, so I seem to need a nap each day now. Not quite the same overwhelming exhaustion as during the hepatitis but I definitely sleep deeply so must need the rest. I am eating jelly beans again, but that's part craving something super sweet, and part to deal with the metallic taste in my mouth which I still get from time to time after eating something.

I was in pajamas and ready to read in bed when Macs suddenly wanted back out. Turned out kids next door were outside w parents on their patio so I went out and let kids play w the dogs. Ds came downstairs and came out also and played w the kids. A very nice evening. They will all three throw a tennis ball at the same time and poor Moe gets overwhelmed. It's really good for the dogs to have a little extra excitement w the three kids.

Dishes are done up. Ds isn't home from work but he was only to work until 9 so I'm not sure why not. Trying not to be worried.

I've made up a meal plan for the remainder of this month and all of next. Also a shopping list for Cos tco and had dh put the empty bbq tank by the car so we won't forget it.

Off to bed now.

Been busy today. It rained on and off. DH went to town to run errands and grocery shop. I've been decluttering and working on a project of putting magazines I've been in, in chronological order from 2006 - 2013. Then, I'll list issues by date, month, year, what title I wrote for what, such as poem, fiction, a tip, or non-fiction short feature.

Friday's supposed to be 84* - 86* here and Mon. will be 93*. July 4, which is usually a normally wet and showery day, will be about 74*, with the on-shore flow off the Pacific Ocean, which is Mother Nature's natural A/C here.

I'm glad tomorrow's Friday. DH may go buy some plants to put into planter pots he's cleaned and filled with potting soil. The patio looks so pretty with all the outside work he's been doing to get ready for the family 4th of July BBQ. We get to see the dgd again, who will be 6 months old on July 8. Then 2 grsons will stay until the 14th.
