SUDDENLY (LAST) SUNDAY of the month

Post by DeeClutter »

To string off Kathryn's title for yesterday, it suddenly dawned on me that today is the end of the first half of the year! ALREADY! Do I need to start getting ready for Christmas? Nah -have a lot of birthdays in the next few days. Dh's tomorrow, DS-A's on Thursday, DDIL#1's the 9th, DGS11mo on the 10th, DS-R's was last Mon, DDIL#2's the 17th, GD14 on the 24th & our Anniv on the 26th. There's probably more -our birthdays are pretty congregated in this time period.

I'm pretty sure it's around the campground now that dh's BIG birthday is tomorrow!

Have to get ready for church - have a congregational meeting that I only learned about through our friends from here. Need to be there to take notes -though I know someone would do it in my absence. Dh had a horrible night last night -said he came out here & laid in the recliner, on the couch & and on the floor trying to get comfortable. Did ask me when his cardiology appointment is -tomorrow morning.

Well I have 45 minutes to s2s, do my hair and be out the door -better rock it.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Waving to Dee

less than an hour left of June here.
Rainy cold here today still its falling down..
Day's highlight was basin bath, then struggled with a hair wash over bath - one handed with a hand held shower spray.
I though of Dee and reconned I could have a go.

I just looked up some local doc / gp on line. The ones in town center don't really grab me. One has retained no women doctors. There are another 4 practices, but not close to bus route. I need to see someone. referral for pdoc and also check my elbow. Maybe its ok, or maybe its been injured beyond the broken skin.
Just begin.

PS - Hope your DH feels better soon Dee.
I have the thing of mostly little sleep too.

I did also arrange a ride to next week's 7.30am appointment with a friend / nurse who starts work at 7. Oh well. It will be a long day. Fracture clinic later may take until 11am. Better than hauling someone else out of their morning routine at that time, or 15 min later. I guess.
Just begin.

Managed some treadmill and then getting ready for church, arriving with a few minutes to spare.

After church meetings in aisle and then parking lot got a lot of stuff settled. I've set up an exit interview for the minister and a rep from Worship Committee is pretty sure I'll be preaching all summer when I'm free for them so I'll stop accepting gigs elsewhere and start planning August. I had a chance to thank the lady who got me the work at the retirement home.

Now, the bbq is this evening so I need to eat and rest and be productive. Not all at the same time!

(The children's story was about to-do lists and priorities so I'm all charged and raring to go!)

Good Afternoon Villagers

I have been absent for a long time, just been real busy at work since being promoted to RN Director at one of the busiest office's of the company. Of course I have also had the Navy and school taking much of my time.

My house is in utter CHAOS... so much so that I have hired a neighbor girl to help with housekeeping.

I am jumping on today because I have so much to do that I need someplace to post my to do list to help stay on track.

DS20 and I are heading out of town from my office on Wednesday and won't be home till late Sunday. The neighbor girl is house-sitting while we're gone.

ToDo / Tada's
Laundry
  • gather dirty clothes (still need DS20's)
    Sort Laundry
    Wash & Dry laundry
    Fold laundry

Clean Kitchen
Clean LR
FASFA for DS20 & I
Look at DS20's laptop
gather trash
dye my hair
pack

DS20 is up so I will get him to gather his laundry and get on the Kitchen.

Hi scattered! Great to "see" you here! I'm glad you're getting help with household maintenance these days.

I'm not sure what I most want to do now, so many things need to be done. Instead of just sitting here on my tushie afternoon....I think I'll try for a mix of things:
-review spreadsheet re: rabbi's compensation
-scoop the poop outside, pick up Moses' tennis balls
-move the bag of potting soil to garage
-spend 1 hour decluttering/putting away things in bonus room
-empty the dishwasher

Yeah Scattered...It's SO good to see you. Post away.

Well Harmony, my office and desk are DONE. Now if I can just keep it this way. Having a lazy day...attending to laundry, but thats about all.

Our cable ( C ox) carries a channel ME TV. Today at my time, noon EST, the original Lone Ranger show is being shown. I think there will be about 6-7 half hour programs in a row. Sweetie and I are really looking forward to this. We listen to the radio programs all the time. Going to have our dinner ready so I don't have to be distracted while watching. Nice entertainment while the world cooks in 119* heat around here. The low this morning was 92* ... that aught to tell y'all something besides that fact y'all are glad you're not here with me.

I am so enjoying my music, not to mention the bottom of my office floor and desk top. Knowing Harmony was doing the same thing helped. Every time I wanted to quit, I though of her. :D

Y'all enjoy your day... I have laundry to fold.

(((Dee & Mr Dee))))

BWTG Harmony & Cowinkie!!!

Scattered - YGG!

Church was busy this morning. I had the little ones by myself. Thankfully a couple of the young teenagers walked by and offered to help. Young people who are able to see a need and then be willing to respond are a blessing!

Lunch was at the big table with 3 other families. Lots of non-stop visiting.

Time for a Sunday afternoon nap. BBL
