Well - here we are back at our site and 3 hours later. As we left the park, the park host called my attention to the front driver's tire and said it looked low. DH was already at the dump site so I followed him and we dumped the waste tanks and filled up with good water.

DH's air compressor wouldn't work so we drove back to the campground. Borrowed theirs but the valve stem wouldn't let any air in the tire.

We called our roadside service and have spent about 2 hours waiting for them to find someone who will fix the tire. They finally said they would have someone at 8 am tomorrow. (Glad we are not sitting along the road somewhere.)

The camp hosts gave us back our campsite for one more night and we locked up the pickup at the parking lot at the entrance.

As we were walking to our rig, road service called and said someone could come out after 5 pm tonight. I'm glad of that as I would rather have the pickup parked with us AND we can get an early start tomorrow.

So we drove maybe 2 miles and we are back where we started. But I'm sure glad that camp host saw the tire as we would have be in the boonies of ND when it blew. God winks again.

Sigh. This is not feeling like a productive day. I got to the dentist and discussed the issue with the sleep apnea mouthguard - he is going to try to have it adjusted so hopefully it will work. I really feel like I'm wasting my time on it and that he is not particularly experienced in this area. The mouth guard too so long to receive in the first place that I had decided I would tell him I didn't want it - was probably at least 6-8 weeks, then I waited until tax season ended to pick it up and try it. I've been wrestling with this since the sleep study in January now and am still sleepy.

Back home I napped. I did not sleep well last night. I was awake fitfully until past midnight, then ddogs had me up at 5:30 this morning.

I've been working on temple biz intermittently this afternoon and will continue. DH is bowling tonight and ds and I are ordering pizza for ourselves. There's a possibility that our wall is on the City right of way, and they may be fixing the wall, not us. We have done a survey, and they are do a survey of the property line as well.

Yes, glad you weren't on the road somewhere, MT.

I've got a watch on today and using the count down timer to keep me moving. I don't have a plan, there's enough to do that I just make sure I'm doing something when the timer goes off!

Main focus is the kitchen as I'm trying to maintain the food prep area as company ready and slowly work through the paperwork on the table.

Email keeps distracting me.

Dh wanted to visit with my bosom buddy's dh so he set up a coffee outing with him, and I drove down and did groceries while they visited. My bosom buddy had too much to take time to visit today.

Before heading off for that, dh tried to remove the cartridge from our kitchen tap (it ia valveless system that uses a cartridge with a life-time warranty.) It is rusted in place so we may end up replacing the whole set of taps. Sigh.... Messing with it has made the drip even worse than it was (and it has been bad for 4 months now) so we are much further behind on this home repair than I'd like.

Ds got up at one and is trying hard to stay up until after supper to switch back over to days. I think he's gone down for a nap, though, or fallen asleep in his chair in the living room.

Hello everyone! I had an interesting time with DD11 yesterday. She had planned to go swimming, ok by me. She had remembered her swimsuit, I had sunscreen and towels, all seemed to be well. She had a special place she wanted to go and I was able to find directions and off we went! When we got there, everyone was leaving because they had seen lightning and it would be closed at least an hour, longer if more was sighted. I was relieved that it closed before we had paid money to get in, but DD pitched major fit. We got home and she did not want to do ANYTHING but sulk. Finally, she decided that she would take a bath in her swimsuit. I offered to turn on the water jets (the first time since I moved in) and major fun was had by all. Water was everywhere, because a swim bath is not complete unless you get your mother as wet as possible. Because there was already water everywhere, I now have a sparkly clean bathroom!

At 10 pm last night, XDH tried to move DD's week with me to TODAY!!! Nothing like advanced notice. He never did say why he wanted to do that, but I wasn't about to set that kind of precedent without good reason. I'm willing to change things fast in an emergency, but not on a whim! I will be getting DD NEXT week. I am already working on planning some fun.

I have gone through 150+ emails and gotten rid of most of them. After I type this, I am going to send copies of my paystubs to my home computer so I can do those cursed child support calculations.

Tonight, I need to return library books, grocery shop, put away LOL, clean floor in sewing room, database work, install some software, and fix the bathroom sink, along with the calculations. I hope I can get some of this done, I am feeling a migraine trying to start.

I need to get a bigger supply of the BGS. I feel like I'm getting a cold (bit of a sore throat and ear feeling sensitive?) and I just haven't gotten much done, including buying more dog food for Moe today. (He got some of Macs' food.)

Was able to cancel a meeting about the wall for tomorrow night - this means I can go to the "other" meeting tomorrow night, I guess.

Going to do some of my neglected routines:
-empty the dishwasher
-clear kitchen counters
-start a lol
-make the bed
-give ddogs their p.m. meds

Just a quickie and waving to y'all....

Helia....your pup sounds like she's suffering from yeast infections just like Willis. First clue...does she smell?

Take some time and google dogs and yeast infections. There's much to learn. It took me a month to get Willis under control. I had to change his food to grain free and bath him with apple cider vinigar. He would scratch himself raw and chew his feet. He also had problems with his ears.

Much research taught me that even good vets get this allergy thing wrong. Don't take my word, do your research. Several of my friends had dog with allergies and these dogs suffered for years. Plus it cost my friends big bucks....think this...if you're like me antibiotic cause me to get a yeast infection. If your pup does have yeast you'll be feeding it.

After my suggestions my friends googled the problem. They changed their dogs food, bathed them with med shampoo from pet smart and began rinsing them in vinigar. Their dogs got better. One of my friends felt really bad because her pup was 14 yrs old and had been on meds but still suffering for a long time.

Willis has flare ups every great once in a while. I pour vinigar on a wash clothes and wipe him down several times a day. He clears up quick.

Waving from Tuesday.
I did a little multitasking during breakfast prep.
I had an odd night sleep then dozed into the morning sitting to get a crick in my neck. again.

later after phone calls.

I made an appointment to see the gp today. I have an hour to be ready and catch a bus. He is my token hope for the medical proffession to seek hope for health for the whole of me. to look beyond the broken bone in my shoulder and see what else might be holding things back and if there isn't a whole other issue that needs treatment.

Sweet dreams everyone.

PS to Helia - my dog got nasty skin from flea allergy. The fix (com fortis flea treatment) was quick and so much better.
Grass and weed seeds can cause him issues too. I have ointment if it flares up again.
Just begin.

Glad you can make a fresh, safe start again tomorrow, Emptynester.

Feel better, Maia. Heat and humidity is bugging all creatures great and small these days in your area and ours - I suspect it plays a part for Maia.

Btw, weatherman here saying we are readying for yet another round of drenching rains to usher in August hot-summer temps. Depressing.

High hopes for the gp, Lynlee.

Hope you don't get sick, Twins' Mom.

Smiling at Elizabeth's bathroom cleaning method.

A quick-ish shopping trip rounded out my day. Tarjay to pick up a slow-cooker from dnephew's bridal registry. Got the last one, in an immaculate box, and the guy at the store properly took only the "need" off the registry list this time. (Last time they deleted the entire item entry, confusing bride and groom.)

Also picked up paperware for the next bday party for one of dd33's boys, which will take place here this weekend. I feel pretty confident that I already have the gifts. Need to let ds and dstepson know they will be here.

3rd load of laundry of the day is spinning. A small extra load. Will hang those few things to drip-dry and hit the hay.
